  1. There has finally been a use for it! Spoilers for V10 incoming...
  2. Today, I started something I have never done before: start a gen 3 file and not pick Mudkip as my starter. So far, the team is good, but I feel like a fish out of water. If anyone has any recommendations for this team, I'd appreciate it.

I guess in that case, the suggestion would be to get a water type? Lotad/Lombre is not amazing, but not bad til you get surf and can get something like carvahna

      Hmmm. Barboach?

  3. You know that generator that generates your favorite Pokemon of each type? I wish there was one that would display all of your main Pokemon teams across each generation. I feel like that one would be fun!

  4. Jan working for Activision on the new Call of Duty: Aevium Chronicles confirmed????? Now with Reborn Zombies, with even more time consuming Easter Eggs that you can just watch on Youtube anyway!
  5. Melia Dance Dance Revolution DLC for $5.99 as the secret is confirmed, guys!
  6. For those who are keeping up with March Madness, number 1 Virginia is about to lose to number 16 USBC. This would be the first 16 seed to defeat a 1 seed in history. For those who don't know sports, that's like an Unown winning against a Darkrai.

  7. I have two. The first is my original starter of Rejuvenation, Chesnaught! I used it a lot against the gym leaders, and it was even the key to winning a majority of them (including the fire gym). The main reason for this is because of one move: Spiky Shield. The AI usually doesn't know to predict it, so by properly utilizing it, you can really catch your opponents off guard. The second of mine is Mismagius. She has been incredible so far, dominating with Shadow Ball, trolling with Pain Split, and even haxing with Confuse Ray. Jan did the right thing by axing this thing.
  8. So not long ago, I found this "favorite Pokemon of each type" chart. Here's who I got:

What about all of you? What are your favorites?

  9. Decidueye is a huge possiblilty. However, I have another prediction: if gen 8 comes out this year, as the rumors say, then the grass starter of that game will get into Smash. It will be very similar to Sm4sh, when Greninja was built for that game.
  10. You might want to watch the movie featuring Yveltal and Diancie. Yveltal turns Pikachu into stone.
  11. @ShadeStrider No, you don't want more water! If you do, IGN will only give you a 7.8/10! In all seriousness, that artwork is fantastic. Excellent job!
  12. S'cool. Thought I would just give you a tip.
  13. I'm glad you are admitting your mistake, but for future reference, I would apologize through a PM. Still, good for you for owning up to your errors!
  14. RIP in pasta Legion of Boom. You won't be missed.

      What were you expecting, @seki108?

Something video game related probably.  I had no idea sub-sets of sports teams (if that is even close to the correct term) would have a name like that.  As you can probably tell, I have don't follow any sport in the slightest.

  15. My first level 100 Pokemon was from Pokemon Red, the very first game I played in the series. Of course, the Pokemon that reached that level was the one I used the most...
  16. A replacement for Wishcash is easy: Gastrodon. It shares the same typing, but also comes with the handy ability of Water Absorb. It also learns fantastic moves, and can learn a multitude of HMs if necessary. I highly recommend looking into it.
  17. You know, I thought I was the only one who hated double typings. Glad to see I'm not alone in this! In all seriousness, the two who would benefit the least from this fight are definitely Granbull and Noctowl. I would bench them for this fight. The first possible replacement for you would be Crobat, as recommended. However, there's a steel type I don't see many people recommending: Klinklang. You've had access to Klink for awhile, and it's ability to set up can help you defeat this leader. If those don't work, I highly recommend looking into getting one of the Nidos (even if it is a repeating type). Both are excellent in this fight.
  18. I'm sorry to say this, but when you play Reborn on the Mac, it is infinitely more laggy. Much of this is because Reborn is not designed for Macs. It would be almost unplayable if it weren't for Wine. In order to help make the process more smooth, I like keeping animations off. This helps prevent the Mac version from crashing.

Unfortunately, it is not. There are two ways to get it: 1) You get lucky with the Mystery Egg, which you can get by saving the police officers before fighting Corey and trading away a Growlithe egg. 2) You can catch them at Route 3, which is relatively far into the game.
  20. Hello, Seth! Welcome to the community! What you want to do first is take your Game.rxdata file and move it to the new folder. If your save has issues, take one of your backup saves and rename it to "Game.rxdata". You should then replace the old file with the new one. It sounds like from your description that you've been replacing the ".exe" file rather than the ".rxdata" file. Let me know if this helps you. Best of luck!
  21. I really hate doing this, as everyone recommends using this guy, but I think Magnezone could help round out your team nicely. Your lack an electric type, and I believe Magnezone can help you significantly. When I build teams, I usually like to create a "Water-Grass-Fire" core. You have a water and fire type, so I'd recommend looking for a grass type next. Tsareena, Leavanny, and Exeggutor (either variant) could make great additions.
  22. As someone who used Swampert in his recent run, I enjoy your starter choice! Having said that, here are some tips for your future team: 1) Get that Alolan Raichu. Don't evolve it into Pikachu until it learns Nasty Plot. 2) Shuppet will probably need to be replaced down the road. In the gym, you can get access to Dusclops and Cofagrigus, two mons who can put in good work. After Narcissa, you can get a Phantump. Get a female and breed it in order to get an egg. Trade said egg in for a mystery egg with the kid on route 3. You can also get a Litwick eventually down the road if you wish. 3) This one is only a temporary member, but I highly recommend catching a Mightyena for this gym battle. Train it up until it knows Swagger and Taunt. This walls her Spiritomb (which will wall you if you don't do this).
