I actually have a thought about that. In my opinion, the champion is probably going to be Alexandra. For those who aren't familiar with her, that's the real name of April/Krystal, who has a habit of changing her name (as revealed if you complete the Solrock/Lunatone side quest before going on the train to GDC, as well as if you talk to Damien, the guy with the Latios). Personally, I don't think Damien will be an E8 member, as that's the dark leader of the game (still think it's strange he has a Dragon/Psychic type, but whatever, I suppose). With all of that said, here's who I have as potential E8 members: 1) Tesla- This one is obvious. It was revealed at the beginning of the game. 2) Karen- It's revealed that Karen is an E8 member, as well. Personally, I think she'll be a rock member, and her ace will be the Solrock/Lunatone fusion 3) Kanon- This one is purely speculation. Before the events of V9, "Krystal" sends Kanon off on a secret quest. Supposedly, he has the "Dragon's Potential". That sounds a lot like the "Golden Flame" Tesla wields... 4) That guy you meet up with in Valor Mountain- Mainly because he serves no other purpose Other than that, I have no idea who will be in the E8

Chapter 1: A New Hero Emerges Man, I'm excited to get into this one. Desolation is my personal favorite of the field-effect games, and I can't wait to share my experience with each and every one of you! As we began our quest, we were greeted to an introduction video by none other than Rosetta, the fairy gym leader! Rosetta proceeded to tell us that there were 16 gyms in this new region, and she would look forward to facing us. We decided that we would put in our name... After registering our name, we decided to enjoy a brief lunch with our friends, Scarlett and grass leader Ava. On the way up, however, we heard a scream. While running to check, we saw that Ava was having some slight difficulty with her Pansage. However, she had the situation under control. This prompted her to ask us this: This is what I think really separates this game from others. Desolation operates on a relationship system that alters the game. Because we didn't want to worry Ava, we decided to tell her that we were worried, prompting her to tell us this: Knowing that she was safe, we decided to celebrate this journey with a lunch. However, as we were enjoying our meals, we happened to overhear a conversation... This greatly concerned Ava and Scarlett. The duo decided to report this incident to the captain. However, as we were entering his office, we ran into a rather rude individual. This boy decided to send us on a mission to find anything "suspicious". As we were looking, however, we stumbled into the red headed woman once more. As she saw us, however, she rightfully accused us of being rude. I mean, you can't just watch people close doors at your leisure. What next, are you going to enter the room? ...okay, so maybe it's strange that her room is a storage room, but who knows? Maybe her luggage is in that box... ...oh shit... OH SHIT! Needless to say, the mysterious woman decided to rid of the boat, condemning a majority of the passengers to death. Luckily for us, we happened to wash ashore with the rude boy from before. With nothing else to do, the boy decided to officially introduce himself as Connor, the fire type gym leader. It's quite obvious that he's the character who is supposed to start off as unlikeable, but then form a bond (not necessarily a friendship) with the MC as time goes on. However, at the moment, he made it clear that he was not happy with his predicament. He even decided to abandon us in the morning! However, before he left, we happened to notice a Pokeball wash up on the beach. We decided to pick it up, revealing none other than... With our new friend alongside us, next time, we'll be adventuring into the woods! Who should we add to the team? What should their names be? It's up to you!

Your team is pretty good! On a more biased note, I enjoy your Swampert set. The one thing I'd suggest is to see what Hidden Power type your Magnezone can have. If it's ice, grass, or fire (ESPECIALLY fire), I'd replace Flash with that move. I'm also not personally a fan of Magnet Rise, as Air Balloons exist, but I can also see the utility. Having said that, if you do decide to use something other that Magnet Rise, you could always teach it Signal Beam instead. It's a Magnezone move tutor move, although I don't quite remember if it's a USUM move tutor move. If so, you'll have to wait a bit.

Alright, I'm ready for a new profile. Groudon wanting a hug is getting old. Any suggestions?

I use one on my main team. Personally, I prefer SD, but there's utility to Fell Stinger, as well.

Almost done with this version (at least that's what I think now that I have my seventh medal). I had a huge blast with this game! Not sure who my final member will be (tried to cheese the game, but they wouldn't give me Froslass from a Dawn Stone, lol), but I'm enjoying each member. Having said that...

Started a new file. I'm loving this game so far, but I'm curious... ...where's the Thunderbolt TM? I don't want my Jolteon to be stuck with Thundershock for the whole game lol.

I'll add on to that, as I agree with you. There's a fight with Zetta when you first arrive on Terajuma. Your "friends" send out their Pokemon in order to battle, but as soon as the fight starts, you're the only one who actually does any fighting. After you win, however, THIS happens:

In that case, I have some recommendations for you. If you are not going to trade with others online, then I recommend... 1) Silvally: this one is an obvious choice. You can get him after the psychic leader at 7th street, and with the drives, it can fill any missing position on your team. 2a) Togedemaru: This one would be a semi-Magnezone replacement. Obviously, Magnezone is better, but with Iron Barbs and Spiky Shield, if you can use it correctly, it's a force to be reckoned with. Your only warning is that it's best moves are USUM only, so perhaps wait until then. 2b) Vikavolt: If you don't like Togedemaru, then this one is the choice. Vikavolt hits like a truck, but it's slow. I also don't exactly remember where to evolve it. It's your preference. 3) Bewear: This one is a more biased entry, but I adore Bewear. Fluffy is a decent ability, and Bewear hits hard. I believe it's also caught by the ice leader (if I'm not mistaken). 4) Pallosand: I believe Sandygast has been available to you for a while now. As such, this could be a decent choice if you're looking for a ground type. If you will consider trading for Pokemon you can get later in the game, I'd recommend two options for you: 1) Salazzle: This is the best Alolan fire type in Reborn, but you can't find it until much later in the game (after you get Fly). If you can get someone to trade you a female Salandit, it could be well worth the effort. 2) Alolan Sandslash: Yes, I know that you can catch Alolan Sandslash in the wild outside Shade's gym, but hear me out. Only Alolan Sandshrew can learn Swords Dance, which makes Alolaslash much more viable. You can only get the ice stone on the ninth floor of the market, and frankly, Alolashrew isn't worth the trouble. As such, if you can train a Sandshrew to learn SD, and then trade over an Ice Stone, it could be well worth your time. It works surprisingly well in the hail as a sweeper, making it a decent choice against some bosses (including Blake, Serra, and parts of Titania)

Who's your starter? That can help with team building suggestions (depending on whether or not you are using it).

I'm just sad my man Swampert didn't join the other Hoenn starters in Pokken TBH.

The one I always feel the most appropriate is the one I give each Swampert of mine: Achilles. Think about it: it's a tanky and bulky monster with insane power, but has a huge weakness in grass types, it's "Achilles heel" if you will. Also, Mega Swampert's heels are weak as hell, lmao. Other favorites of mine include: S3X R0807: Magnezone (just some silly juvenile humor) Coryza: Beartic (a coryza being a special membrane activated by a common cold, and Beartic's beard is made of snot) Cleveland: Garbodor (in honor of the historic 0-16 Cleveland Browns season) Rick&Morty: Girafarig (because you have to have an IQ of at least 200 to appreciate it, lmao) Lieutenant: Wobbuffet (because in many of the old sprites, as well as the anime, it's usually saluting)
