I definitely agree with you that this is one of the weaker points in Rejuvenation. However, I would argue that there is one weaker plot point, and that's when Ren decides to join Team Xen. Granted, we don't know what Crescent told him, but I have always found it silly that Ren would join the same people he though killed Melia, especially after swearing to get stronger for her sake. When you get to Terajuma Island and find the first village, there is a certain cutscene which plays (I'd tell you which one, but you'll know when you get there). I'd love to see your take on it. Also, I completely agree with you about Madelis. She could've been such an interesting character, but we don't see her too much. Having said that, you may like the next Xen admin you run into. This individual certainly has more personality, even if said personality needs a bit of fine tuning.
