I'm sad that the next/final chapter of the only official Touhou manga that's running right now (Visionary Fairies in Shrine) is getting delayed until September. However, it's supposed to be a big one so I guess that makes up for it. I really want to see how The Great Fairy War: Electric Boogaloo will turn out.

-
Oh yeah, I still gotta read this manga. Though, it does seem a bit odd that they're all winding down in such close proximity of each other despite starting so far apart...
Spoiler...Is it just me, or does Luna Child look a fair bit less enthusiastic about this than everyone else? Guess that's to expected, given that she was always unusually cautious for a fairy...
*In before they get season tricked again* -
Many are kind of worried that ZUN is backing out of the the manga field, myself include, becuase of the close concision. Maybe a new one will be announced soon, possibly even a new 'Three Fairies of Light' manga
since this is the 4th one?I think a recent interview had him express interest in a sequel to Wild and Horned Hermit, so maybe that's in the cards. WaHH was certain a good one in terms of fleshing out characters, especially Sanae. I hope at least something is announced soon.
With old games coming to Steam and new fangames coming to Switch, maybe Zun will be branching out? Pure speculation on my part here.
Can't wait for Fantasy Maiden Wars next month.......even without an English patchSpoilerWhile still silly, it does bring up some more series plot points last chapter or two (which are mentioned in WaHH). Definitely worth a quick read. I never noticed her face, but they are going up against Okina so fear is definitely expected.

Well, I was able to beat Flora first try, but I had to use a Max Revive so I'm not sure it counts as much. Vanilluxe was MVP this time.
-
Plus Iccile Plate. It only took about about half her team, but it had to be revived after Mega Vena took it out.
Scrafty took out Ferrowthorn after a DD'cd Hi Jump Kick. Her Whimsicott surprisingly took out two of my team because of a lucky Grasswhistle while I set up Toxic Spikes, and her Ludicolo was still outsped almost(?) everything I brought even after A-Ninetales took away it's rain.
-
You were still being outsped? That's odd, since ludicolo only has 70 base Speed. Even with max Speed EVs, IVs, and a Timid Nature, it shouldn't be able to outpace most of the game. Unless it was also Choice Scarfed, but that seems like a poor choice when she's already using Swift Swim from the get-go...

-
I think the hail had stopped at that point but the rain never came back. Maybe it still counted as raining because the field does it by default? I don't even remember for sure what it managed to outspeed now, since the actual fight was two hours ago, but it was more than one mon.
Either way, the fight definitely reminded me of how tanky Mega Venasaur is. Even with all those field/item/STAB boosts mentioned, Vanilluxe still only took it down to about half before the field healed it. All that bluk + Thick Fat really makes that mon survivable.

Dammit Oshawott, I know you probably didn't want to get in the train, but that's no excuse for obliterating it from existence! How am I suppose to explain to your parent that I have to take you to GDC to stand trial?! And don't just say "Osha?" all innocently! I know what you did!

-
Wow these berries seem to be taking forever to grow. I know it takes more than a day but it feels like so much longer.

So, two of the newer SRW games are coming to Steam.
On one hand, I buy
and possibly playone of the games I've been wanting to. On the other, I'm not sure if my ~7 year old laptop could handle it, since it seems to even struggle with Duel Links sometimes. -
Finally finished most everything prior to GDC with the exception of starting Narcissa's sidequest. Some of those Zygard Cells were annoying. Time to leave this part of the map for a while.

The Safari Zone in Rejuvenation reminds me why I hate the Safari Zone mechanics so so much and have since Red.
-
-
No, just the 1% encounter rate Pokemon that can take a horrendous amount of time to catch have a higher chance to flee if you do any of the options, at least in some cases. Even catching the more common Hypno and Girafarig were frustrating and took almost all of my Safari Balls on them alone. That's not even mentioning shinies.
Apparently according to some digging into Gen 2 data, other pokemon never found in a Safari Zone have data for fleeing from battle randomly. It can be inferred that this was debated to be a added as a regular feature even to some mons outside of the Safaris. I'm VERY glad this never came to be.

Erick is one of the few gym leader in these two games that I can honestly say I beat first try at any time, the others being Noel (Ep 16), Luna (Ep 16), and Amber (V9). It might have gone worse if not for a lucky freeze on Magnazone, but with that bit of luck I didn't even need items this time.

I'm not sure why I've grown to like Blizzard spam, but with Abamasnow and now A-Ninetails, it's quite effective. This especially goes with fields that change. A-Ninetails and Lyconrock-D were the MVPs this time.
R.I.P. Swampert who didn't even come out
-
Just got to Garbodor. Well, that was certainly a different outcome. Edit: OOPS, I forgot to get that book. That explains things. R.I.P.
Also, new best quote

Honestly, there really wasn't one. I burned it at the start of the battle and had hail to do chip damage, but it still one or two shot most things........except the Nidos. King and Queen were luckily bulky enough to survive multiple Sludge Waves and spam Earth Power (with Earth Plates) until the damage outpaced the healing enough.
I got it second attempt, mostly because I had 3 grass types first time and because the first battle with the weaker version (with no field regen) lured me into thinking the fight would easier.

Finally! Get buried in the snow!
I knew Intense mode got a boost between V9 and V11, but I didn't think it was this much.
I'm glad Sillvally had Life Orb instead of the crest that's apparently in the data for it, since I basically had to wait for it to faint itself with recoil + Hail chip damage

It gives silvally a 20% increase to attacks of the same Type as its held Memory (effectively turning Memories into Plates only it can use), and simulates a different Ability based off of Type silvally is. Unfortunately, we don't have a list of what those Abilities are, though it's been confirmed that Normal!silvally does get one.
...Basically, it makes up for the chimera's more glaring flaws. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Does Amplified Rock increase Tailwind's duration? I know it increased some things, but I can't find what exactly. I want to know if it's worth trying to mine for?
for the purpose of beating this complete BS fight-
I just wanted to see if I could extend it longer, since there is absolutely no way that 6 turns would be enough. I'm not sure if the strong winds will help since I haven't tried this tactic yet but here's hoping. Thank you for likely confirming this, since I would rather not sit and SR in front of a rock right now.
-
Yeah, it doesn't work. I just checked the original post and Ame stated it right here.

Almost won the Zetta-Gerra battle (I think) but then Mega Gengar came in to outspeed Lyconrock and one-shot it with a Thunder.......................................
back to square one with hoping I get another lucky run like that.......
-
Was Tepig added to Valor Mountain in V12, because I can't find it anywhere there in V11 and the guide that mentions it being there already mostly updated to V12? There is not Rock Climb wall where it mentions it being.

-
I've heard the special Rilou might have been removed in V12, so I'm sticking with V11 until then just in case. Plus, I've heard the cliffhanger at the end of V11 was great, and for me it would probably be best experienced with the usual 'preview' at the end.
It's mostly updated to V12 but little things slip though, like a minor name changes to original TMs. Everything else has mostly matched, but there was bound to be some stuff added early on. I'll hate having to go back in here to get it later.............

Getting closer to the part about the Magma Stone. To keep the Magma Stone or give it up, that is the question? I know it used to that Ralts was locked to one option in V9 but I don't know if that's the case anymore.
-
Well, here's the real decision to choose upon: to save the Eldest or to not?
The Magma Stone event isn't the option that allows you to obtain Ralts earlier or not. At least, not directly.
SpoilerIf you choose to save Amber in Valor Mountain (that involves fighting an ancient blue whale!) then you get a key to access the Xen Backup lab back at Secret Shore.
