  1. Random question for Rejuvenation:  If you don't finish the Mosely/Lost Camp story before V12's story is over, will that have an effect on the outcome or is the doctor still there for some reason?  or maybe Mosely just can't get in with police investigating

Finished V12.....now what?   Ok, just kidding time for sidequests!  I wanted a shiny cell doggo and I've already accidentally SR when I finally got one.........twice  hello darkness my old friend

I never finished the Mosley/Lost Camp sidequest, so I don't know the answer to your first question. I'm sorry. 😕

You should complete all the Neo Gearen Help Quests and the Inkay farm quest (at Yui's Ranch). Then go to Honec Woods and dive under water and continue on. You'll be in for a surprise. Heh.

Done the first two, and have gone to two dive spots (in the Wetlands base) and the shore.  The rest will follow eventually

  2. 11/10 probably one of my favorite Yugioh retrains (and one of the best designed).
  3. Some of these ZZ and Pyramid fights......  A different team loadout might have help in some case, but some were just brutal regardless.   I'm glad I don't mind using items, since those herbs have been getting some use.  The rift fight has been about the easiest so far thanks to Poison Powder.

I might be getting near the end, Flo-Ryl down.  It's definitely been a similar but different experience compared to my V9/10 playthrough.  At least there are still a good many sidequests to still do after this episode is complete.

Not a quote per say, but damn was this moment/line/image funny.  Corsala forgoes a crest and just cuts you

"Who needs Trainers when you've got KNIVES?!

      ...

"I'm... all out of HP knives."

Seriously, though, between this scene and the Throat Chop Move Tutor, I can't help but wonder if someone on the dev. team has had some sort of bad encounter with corsola at some point. Hmm...

Also, those security magneton need to friggin' chill. Definitely not a fan of getting nuked into oblivion every other round, ya know?

I wish I had known this during the Q&A thread, since that would have been a good ask.

No kidding.  Those thing completely took me off guard by one-shotting (or close to) my two opening mons.  I honestly had a better time with Ren/Aelita's teams.  I looked on the 100% guide to maybe see if it mentioned what they were holding and was shocked to see it written they "aren't too tough".......then I remembered the guide was written with Normal in mind, not Intense.   They must have really gotten buffed.

It probably didn't help that my team was a tad mismashed since I was trying to get the last few to level 85 and didn't expect to run into anything THAT tough before coming across a PC again.

Hey, I won another round of 'accidentally beat up your friends while under the enemy's influence'.  Not glass factory, but definitely same theme of friendly fire.

    3. Autumn Zephyr

      Autumn Zephyr

I... didn't think to ask until after it closed, personally. Whoops.

I play Normal, and the only time a magnedrone didn't wipe the floor with my team was the battle where one had the misfortune of being paired with a golurk. Whichever Garufan engineer thought that "just let them OHKO each other to give invaders a fighting chance" was a good idea really ought to have been demoted...

That said, they certainly wouldn't be a problem if you happened to have access to powerful Ground moves of your own. Since I didn't (and admittedly still don't) have a single Ground Type on my rotation... the results speak for themselves.

So, uh, that was an instance where it's in the player's best interest to lose. Granted, there's really only a couple of Karma points on the line, and we're still not quite sure significant those will wind up being, but still... It does result in the fight wielding the single most malicious use to the Telepathy Ability I have ever seen, which wasn't exactly a nice discovery given the situation. Between that and its Crest, that dang alien stayed on the field far longer than it had any right to... 😓

  4. I have 63 AP left and I still have 2-3 achievements left plus the 25 AP for beating the virtual league.
  5. Even as a fandub, this song was an absolute sledgehammer of nostalgia.

  6. Mamam..........😞

Adrienn has some cute moments in the Neo Geraen section.  Not having a city quite on the brink as Reborn (especially after 'Devon') really lets her be a bit more peppy.

About time I actually start with the V12 story, since I'll save the Badlands help quest till after V12's story.

  7. Shared PC broke in V11, though apparently some people on the Rejuv modpack thread say they got it to work. Either way, it would only trade between different Rejuv or different Reborn saves, not between games.
  8. I think it's on the path beside it (where you follow Flora). Surf to the far right to find the path. Either that or immediately go up when you first enter the forest and keep heading to the far right. I can't really check which path right now.
  9. It's still there at that collapsed tower in Darklight forest. You do have to talk to NPCs 30 times before it works.
  10. The 100% walkthough is also helpful in finding them, complete with a screenshot (and some general instructions on finding). They even have them numbered, which helped me put together a checklist that I'll update and gather after each episode.
  11. Well that Rock fight was a pain (even after I read up on the field) but Whimsacott was there to save the day again.

I keep forgetting that Tailwind blows away Misty Terrain and usually resets the field.  Except this time instead of resetting it back to inverse, it set it the default field.  I'll take it.

After another team change (back to the usual Rock Splitters) it was more manageable.  Terrakion and Mega Areo still cleaved holes so a revive or three had to be used.

I noticed earlier, but quite a few leaders that had legendaries on V9/10 intense (Amber with Moltres??,  Erick with Zapdos, Souta with one of the genies) didn't have them this run.  I made extra sure it was on Intense, even using my free difficulty change to insure it before Venam, so I'm definitely on the correct difficulty.  Seems some rebalancing was done between Eps.

    1. seki108

      seki108

Probably at least going to go to the mainland before continuing the story

  12. Well that was a fight.

Complete MVP was Whimsacott.  It took a few times for things to work out, but once they did they just worked.......with some shots of lemonade and milk to keep her healthy for field resetting.  On the run that worked, those two stayed on the field the whole match.  I think the A.I. made a dumb here.

I'm glad I didn't get something not as useful from the Mystery Egg (like in Reborn and Rejuv V9).  First time that's panned out great, with this, the Crawli fight, and the Zetta/Gerra fight being helped immensely by this little Prankster.

Also, I'm guessing it's about time I have to decide whether to stick with V11 and do some post-episode stuff or to go straight into V12's story.

  13. I may have just found my new favorite line in Rejuvenation:

So now Konami owes Dragon Maid's author and The Pokemon Company royalties for their new Dragon Maid yugioh archetype?!

      In all seriousness, I can't believe it's a thing but I'll probably like it anyway. @Wolfox @Chimpnology

It seems like an interesting archetype if anything. But can we also get a Fiend Butlers Archetype?

no joke i still have the image of "theyre not real people theyre maids" saved on my phone from back when i played in v11, because yes its the fucking best line the game has delivered.

  14. Well, I'm a little past the point where I stopped last time in V10, so I'll updated my 'Current Playthrough' team. Here's my current bloated rotation. Having the EXP ALL does make having a selection more viable, even without the Lucky Egg boosting the Audino trainers. One or two were added since I got a lucky shiny. Slurpuff is on a 'trial' to see if it will be able to really do anything. The only planned addition is Cell Doggo once I get to that point. Abomasnow, Grumpig, and Roselia are 'retired'. Banette is on the verge of being retired since she only makes occasional meaningful contributions. Have to include my 'side players': My Pickup squad, Yamma the wild item Theif, and Marcargo the hatchery. The Kimono Girls Eevee is here until I decide if I'm going to try adding it......I'm not sure which Eeveelution I would even need at this point.

Still mad there wasn't a shot of Melia looking at the ocean.  That would have made a better shot for the second verse

  16. I can trade you one now, if you are available Mr. Hash Slinging Slasher. What is your trade ID?
  17. What happened Aileita?  Your A.I. was so helpful in V9.

      *never did much

so many mistakes when I type this late

The bronzong's less about immediate threat, and more about the constant reminder that this tanky bell can very, very easily set Trick Room back up the moment it times out, making your break from that madness cut that much shorter. That said... metagross' immediate danger is certainly worth paying more attention to if the TR is freshly established, seeing as it's a bloody pseudo and bronzong itself is a bit lacking in offensive presence... But I don't think the AI in general is capable of reading those sorts of Doubles situations yet.

The Gem does get used up for the first attack- that's not the issue. The issue is that the Gem only adds +30% damage, while the no-item bonus on Acrobatics is a flat double (+100%). There's a sizable enough gap in numbers there to make the assumption I did, I believe.

    4. seki108

      seki108

If it actually used TR when something else was on the field, it would have definitely been a bigger thread.  Sadly for it, it didn't use it in any match (much less the final one).  Oranguru just wouldn't faint until almost the end, so like in V9 it essentially turned from a 2-on-2 match to  a 1-on-1 match.

Oh, I misunderstood what you meant in the post before.  Another case of the A.I. not seeing the bigger picture/ the non-immediate effects.  Can't type or read as well this late apparently.

  18. I'm sad that the next/final chapter of the only official Touhou manga that's running right now (Visionary Fairies in Shrine) is getting delayed until September.  However, it's supposed to be a big one so I guess that makes up for it.  I really want to see how The Great Fairy War: Electric Boogaloo will turn out.

Oh yeah, I still gotta read this manga. Though, it does seem a bit odd that they're all winding down in such close proximity of each other despite starting so far apart...

      Spoiler

...Is it just me, or does Luna Child look a fair bit less enthusiastic about this than everyone else? Guess that's to expected, given that she was always unusually cautious for a fairy...

Many are kind of worried that ZUN is backing out of the the manga field, myself include, becuase of the close concision.  Maybe a new one will be announced soon, possibly even a new 'Three Fairies of Light' manga since this is the 4th one

I think a recent interview had him express interest in a sequel to Wild and Horned Hermit, so maybe that's in the cards.  WaHH was certain a good one in terms of fleshing out characters, especially Sanae.  I hope at least something is announced soon.

With old games coming to Steam and new fangames coming to Switch, maybe Zun will be branching out?  Pure speculation on my part here.  Can't wait for Fantasy Maiden Wars next month.......even without an English patch

      Spoiler

While still silly, it does bring up some more series plot points last chapter or two (which are mentioned in WaHH). Definitely worth a quick read. I never noticed her face, but they are going up against Okina so fear is definitely expected.

  19. They're in this spoiler tag in the main thread. The first three are for the full game, while the next two links are just for the patch. There is also that map data file to replace.
  20. Well, I was able to beat Flora first try, but I had to use a Max Revive so I'm not sure it counts as much.  Vanilluxe was MVP this time.

Plus Iccile Plate.  It only took about about half her team, but it had to be revived after Mega Vena took it out.

Scrafty took out Ferrowthorn after a DD'cd Hi Jump Kick.  Her Whimsicott surprisingly took out two of my team because of a lucky Grasswhistle while I set up Toxic Spikes, and her Ludicolo was still outsped almost(?) everything I brought even after A-Ninetales took away it's rain.

    3. Autumn Zephyr

      Autumn Zephyr

You were still being outsped? That's odd, since ludicolo only has 70 base Speed. Even with max Speed EVs, IVs, and a Timid Nature, it shouldn't be able to outpace most of the game. Unless it was also Choice Scarfed, but that seems like a poor choice when she's already using Swift Swim from the get-go... 🤔

    4. seki108

      seki108

I think the hail had stopped at that point but the rain never came back.  Maybe it still counted as raining because the field does it by default?  I don't even remember for sure what it managed to outspeed now, since the actual fight was two hours ago, but it was more than one mon.

Either way, the fight definitely reminded me of how tanky Mega Venasaur is.  Even with all those field/item/STAB boosts mentioned, Vanilluxe still only took it down to about half before the field healed it.  All that bluk + Thick Fat really makes that mon survivable.
