  1. This one scene is more fun than the entirety of Black Panther.

  2. Bethesda really should stop remaking Skyrim and make a new game. Or remaster Oblivion if they aren't going to do anything else.
  3. This game tried to be a Metal Gear Solid style game set in the Half Life universe with Half Life gameplay and Metal Gear Solid style cutscenes.

It failed at both. The Cutscenes are let down by ridiculously poor scriptwriting and voice acting. The Half Life gameplay is broken beyond repair.

In the final scene, Adam kinda looks as if he's sexually aroused and erotically enjoying being shot by bullets.

And how does Mitchell suddenly know about Borealis?

  4. I honestly think that this Switch game is a Lazy attempt to catch the attention of Genwunners and Casuals. It's not really anything new, just mechanics from Pokemon Go mixed with Kanto. I genuinely hope that the new Switch RPG gives Pokemon a big overhaul, Like with what Zelda did with Breath of the Wild and Mario did with Mario Odyssey. Maybe even borrow some Ideas from the creators on this site. The Mystery Dungeon games set a standard for Pokemon Spinoffs, and I highly doubt that this will meet that standard (Well, the first two, anyway. Gates to Infinity kinda sucked, and Super Mystery Dungeon, while a good game in it's own right, isn't as good as it's predecessors). On a side note, this game has been in development for almost three years now. I'm actually Impressed that you managed to stay with this project. I'm not even sure if I would have stayed with this project for three years, had I been the one developing.
  5. Never mind. I got a link. Looks great. Playing it tomorrow.
  6. I can't get my hands on the beta for this game. I would like to, as it sounds appealing.
  7. So, I decided one day that Pokemon Trainer should have a little more involvement in Pokemon Battles. Not just being the one commanding and Strategizing. Rather, what I have in place is sort of a way for Trainers to participate in the Battle along with their pokemon. I decided that maybe the trainer should have a certain set of Skills that directly impact a pokemon Battle. For Example, Let's say you have a skill called "Speed Throw". Like Bruno using his nunchucks in the Manga, Speed throw is supposed to be about throwing your pokeball extremely fast, so that when the Pokemon comes out, they can launch an extremely fast attack that is difficult to dodge. In the case of the game, however, It just increases Speed and accuracy for one turn. How could you use this strategically? You could use a choice banded set to get an early KO on a speedy pokemon Lead. Or, this is kind of a unique one, but Equip the Skills "Evasion" and "Close Combat (Not the Pokemon move, Just a trainer Skill)". With Evasion, and Close Combat used in conjunction, The Trainer, when employing this skill, can evade pokemon attacks while crossing the battlefield. With Close Combat, The Trainer punches the opposing trainer, causing them to be stunned. As a result, the opposing pokemon trainer can't switch pokemon or use Items for two turns. And The Opposing pokemon's moves are randomized, because they don't exactly have a trainer to direct them. But there also have to be limits. So let's say that every time you employ an ability, It drains some of your SP (Skill points). And you have a maximum amount that you have to use sparingly. This Idea still needs to be developed and balanced, but I might appreciate someone (Maybe even... Junichi Masuda?) to try this idea out in one of the games. But, Like i said, It's a garbage Idea. Feel free to either show approval, or tell me why it's a terrible Idea and would not work. I get the feeling something is totally wrong with this idea.
  8. It's eventually going to happen. Eventually. Let's get the interesting Grand Dream City stuff out of the way first. On A side note, Purple Hair. Admiral Holdo had purple hair. Admiral Holdo is one of the worst characters in Star Wars. So, Logically, I should have something against Purple Haired Characters. But Cain is funny, with his innuendos providing necessary comic relief. So, I guess it's forgivable in Pokemon Fangames.
  9. Melia (or in My case, Raiden would be more fitting), What have you done? You've changed the future!! You've created a time paradox!
  10. "Those who see Lin as the best character, they sicken me deeply.

Pokemon Reborn was a mistake. It's nothing but trash."- Amethyst.

  11. Does it make any sense that my favorite Reborn Protagonist is Alice? The Blond girl?
  12. Axel's legacy Sprite. It gives the impression of an Emo kid, and personally, that suits me. That's my style.
  13. I think I know what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.

They pass right through each other.

    1. IntSys

      IntSys

Nah, the immovable object just explodes from the force, because it can't move to save its own existence.

  14. "We dreamed of creating the world's strongest pokemon."

    "And we succeeded."

  15. So, does Pokemon count as a JRPG?

I really can't tell at this point.

    1. seki108

      seki108

The line between (J)RPG and Turn-Based Strategy (no matter how light) still confuse me in most case that are relevant to both.  Probably not what you were going for, but still had to bring it it.

    2. Raindrop Valkyrie

      Raindrop Valkyrie

ln the sense it's a menu driven system that was created in Japan yes. ln what the term JRPG is usually used for... it's more of alight intpretation to such a system and wouldn't be a "true" JRPG.

  16. If you could port this to Rejuvenation after your college exams are done, I would appreciate it. Actually, on second thought, wait until V11.
  17. This might be either the worst thing or best thing ever.
  18. So, Exactly How Bad was Solo: A Star Wars Movie?

I haven't seen it, and I don't exactly care to. The Last Jedi killed my excitement for Star Wars.

I have heard, however, that the main actor is absolutely atrocious. And that he doesn't live up to Ewan Mcgregor's standards of playing a beloved character from the OT.

    1. Sunbean

      Sunbean

I'm not the biggest fan of Han but a huge fan of Lando. I'm hearing that Donald Glover did a good job with it, so I'll at least see it to see more of his character. He was ridiculously underused in the OT.

  19. We have a character literally named "Mary Sue"... You know, I once toyed with the Idea myself, except instead of being a side character, It was the main character. And it was in a story that was supposed to be half comedy/parody and half dark, brooding, thought provoking anime. The Original Idea, for me, was to create a character that was mentally unstable, heavily flawed, and arrogant, but because she has the name "Mary Sue", people in game expect her to do everything perfectly and be the perfect "goddess" like character. She, of course, is skilled, skilled enough to join a band of Mercenaries. But she fails a lot of missions, leading people to question the validity of her name. Then, like Five Versions later, the Player would get to give her a name, except in universe, she was the one creating her own name, as a means of "claiming an identity of her own."
  20. I tried to bring Pokemon to a futuristic Final Fantasy-esque setting. And have my characters based on characters from Final Fantasy and Metal Gear. The project was scrapped because I couldn't write for crap.
