I know Venam used one in her gym match on Intense mode.  I don't know about the other difficulties.

Then again, Z-moves might be implemented more thoroughly in E18 along with the rest of Gen 7 content and further AI fixes. I guess we have to wait and see.

In that case it would be ideal for Gym Leaders to use both, especially the late-game ones, whereas early - mid-game -Leaders use Z-moves only.

Yeah, most Gym Leaders in Rejuv use Z-moves right from the start: I just did a playthrough of V9 Intense Mode and even I can't remember all of them using Z-moves (Keta and Flora, for example).

Ah right, maybe they were all just in Intense mode? I played on normal this time around, but will be doing Intense next time I start over

Story 3 was probably the happiest of them all, so that *should* give you a bit of a reprieve, and 4 isn't too bad by itself. Star Night Festival onwards will bury you 6 feet under though, but it's worth it. 

Oh and not directly story based but you should get all the marbles. getting them all doesn't change anything, but it's important to me personally. 3/5 should be gotten as part of the story automatically anyway, and the other two aren't that hard to find so just explore thoroughly?

It could be a bug with that mod because the Crstal Cave Field is active for me and I'm not using that mod.

I'll report it then. I'm not too bothered about it, but if I've found where something is, it would be nice to get it.

Last attempt for the night was going really well. Changed my route through the early battles a bit, got pretty nice sweep on Orderly John, went into Solaris with 3 pokemon up. Got lucky on a rock slide miss when switching, which let me survive earthquake and get a D.Dance off, so Feraligatr ran through the first half of his team, but was stopped cold by M.Gyarados as usual. Gardevoir took out M.Gara, but fell to Scizor. Honchkrow tanks a superpower, and kills scizor with drill peck + sucker punch for a moxie boost. Another drill peck does a bit over half of Mandibuzz's HP, and then Foul Play takes out Honchkrow easily after superpower+sandstorm damage for a few turns. Would've won if Galvantula had not been poisoned and survived the John fight.

Oh noooo, that's so sad! I really hope you'll be able to pull it off next time you try. Perhaps, with a bit more luck on your side you can defeat them, following the same strategy you used on your last attempt

Anticipation only works when there's a super effective move or a move that can OHKO iirc. So if Cloud Nine is too situational than Anticipation would be too

It's not that cloud nine is too situational, its that it wouldn't have time to have any effect. if it actually removed the weather it would be good.

I didn't really make it clear but I'm looking for abilities that would have an effect on the battle if on a pokemon that was switched in after a KO and then mega evolved on turn 1, other than the ones in the original message. 

Also sadly while forewarn, anticipation and frisk all technically count, they're useless to an AI trainer.

Magic Guard is the only other one I've since thought of as it would protect from any hazards on switchin

Imposter,damp,download and the auras I suppose. Does flower gift,friend guard, queenly majesty and the stat preventers (leaf guard) count? What about lightning rod, flash fire and storm drain?

Correct. Lurantis is also a bulkier, slower option. grass isn't that crucial to a team but it's nice to have.

in other news, greninja's level up moves are... difficult to work with shall we say. I'm dying to find another heart scale just to get night slash, and thats not even that great on mine because she's specially focused

you can use common candy to lower its level to 1 and train it up again but it'll take some time to train it again

I'm pretty certain you can't get "level 1" moves with common/reverse candy because a) I think they're not actually learned at level 1, thats just the easiest way to denote the fact that they can only be got with the move relearner, or if it started in that form (they're like 'defaults) and B ) even with common candy learning, you have to go a level below, and then rise to the level that you learn the move, and you can't go to level 0. guess I should pick up faint attack from level 33 though...

The questionable ones are Thor 2 (seems not a good movie, but has an important red thing), and Ant Man / Black Panther because they sound pretty good, but not that important to the overall storyline

Thor 2 existed only to show us "hey here's another infinity stone that it will end up there", not worth.
Ant man has no role in infinity war, he's not even in the poster!
As for Black Panther, while Wakanda is a key place for iw, it doesn't really matter. It's a cool origin story with some character introductions but you'll be fine watching iw without it

Maybe I'll just stick to Ultron; I think I've got a pretty good grip on Homecoming from CinemaSins, and don't have a whole lot of interest in Captain America by himself.

I have Insurgence at 4th, just behind the Reborn Trilogy (Reborn, Rejuv, Desolation) as well. I was skeptical of Deltas at first, but they're well executed and designed! Also, on hard mode it is almost as difficult as Reborn (but Rejuv and Desolation are still hands down the two most difficult Pokemon games I've ever played).

These are my E4 and E4 rematch teams. The rematch was basically where I stopped, except for picking up celebi and shaymin to confirm I had finished those questlines.

@SilverHelio a couple hours. I started with pretty good parents and was using CE for fast egg generation and hatching so I had pretty good turnover rate.

I've gone to the scientist club a couple times since getting the message about it, but nothing seems to activate there

I remember after you get the call from the scientist, you're supposed to meet her at the train station.

@Maqqy I dunno about hardest (would be cool if there was an attempt count for each one) but I think that the one that I got annoyed at the most for feeling BS was probably Dr. Kahl's Robot.

Mine was Baroness Von Bon Bon. I hated that binch. Also the run n' gun level Perilous Piers was the most excruciating of them all.

Oh yea she was quite annoying for a while. most of the run & guns I found pretty ok actually, except for rugged ridge which I don't think I ever completed because they're optional and I had all the items I wanted

l personally don't really think reactions are necessary, even positive ones. But... negative reations tend to only really be problematic more than anything else. 

But at the least, likes upvotes etc...can be nie little "hey you did cool stuff!"stickers that can be enjoyable for folks without a person needing to have to make a post in a thread etc just saying a single "Cool!" etc... which makes them valuable.

Negativity at a cold and icy distance serves no real purpose.

To clarify, I definitely wasn't saying I think this would be a good idea.

lol, l can't speak for the others but l'm aware of that fact. l didn't think you wanted that at all. l'm just saying why it's definitely not a feature worth implmenting because it's just invite toxicity and enable it more or less.
