  1. According to the current item guide, there is one as a help quest reward in Kakori Village and then another in Grand Dream City.
  2. It isn't! There are no evo stones available via pickup.
  3. There seems to be some sort of mapping error going on in East Gearen City, near the salon area. Thankfully, it doesn't break anything, but all the same.
  4. Regarding grinding: you do know that the rebattleable trainers in the Great Hall are now available as soon as you beat Team Meteor in Mosswater, right? You get the added bonus of being able to build up quite the sizable cash reserve.
  5. Someone come take my Switch away. I swore I'd not play anymore Zelda until the last DLC came out... but I've been playing for hours. ;-;

  6. As long as you have a male Smeargle with Psychic Fangs (as a Sketch'd move) and a female of the Lillipup line, it should receive Psychic Fangs as an egg move.
  7. **pterodactyl screeching noises** The ending of Desolation, what even!?!

      Yep. Pretty much. I've got a theory about what was going on, but I don't even. I just know that waiting for the next release is going to kill me. ;-;

      I know right? Waiting is going to be a bitch. My favorite hint seems the usage of 'they'. Seems like the potential for a nice theory.

      Nice catch! My brain wrote that off initially as a plural regarding both Shiv and Nova, but looking back on it now with the full context of the end... Certainly seems to be a possibility for what you're hinting at!

  8. That's where you talk to the Boss. The Pokémon are in various places. You can find a post with their locations somewhere in this thread if you want.
  9. In Blackview, you start a sidequest where you have to track down some Pokémon for the Boss. Be prepared for a few fairly tough fights. You'll be able to find the starting point in the north park area.
  10. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I guess I did just imagine talking to a weird guy that hoarded rocks... ^^;
  11. Where does one find the guy to open the weather rock stall in the Manor business? I could have sworn I'd talked to him somewhere before getting to Cellia, but I can't find him anywhere. My memory could also just be going haywire and making up things... Sidenote: fully upgraded my manor and still have 41 credits left. This is what I get for being stingy in the early game I guess! XD
  12. Excuse me, fellow Desolation fans. Yes, ah, Tristan can kindly go screw himself with a pogo stick. That is all.

      I never had trouble with him.

      I didn't have too much issue with him. My frustration, I think, was more than the difficulty spike for him in particular was... enormous. Both Connor and Aderyn were satisfyingly challenging, but it almost seemed like Tristan was just a bit much? Meh, I might just be out of practice, I haven't played in a while.

    Feel free to add me, just let me know so I can add you. :)

  14. Okay, so to begin with, can you clarify what exactly confuses you about the Switch? Please believe me when I say this and that I'm trying not to belittle you, but the Switch is a whole lot clearer about what it is up front than the Wii U was. In any case, let's break it down. The Switch console is a hybrid handheld-home based console. While Nintendo is currently swearing up and down that the Switch is not going to replace the 3DS, we can't say for sure, but that's neither here nor there at the moment. In terms of power, it is more powerful than a handheld, but less powerful than a home console. The Switch is composed on three primary parts. Tablet - this is the part with the touch screen and which displays the game when not docked. Dock - this is what plugs in to the TV and power outlet. Can be used to charge the game when not in use. Joy Cons - the controllers. There are various means to use these: "popped" into the side of the tablet for hand held mode (see below), in two separate hands much like Wiimotes, and slid into a special controller adapter which allows you to use it like a more conventional home console controller. Further, the Switch offers three primary "modes" of play. Handheld mode - this is where the Joy Cons are attached to the side of the tablet portion, which enables you to play on the go quite easily. Docked mode - this is where you slide the tablet part into the dock, and the same gameplay is streamed to your TV. Kickstand mode - basically, you start in handheld mode, but pop the kickstand out of the back and take the Joy Cons out which basically allows you to play with the screen away from your body. In as much as the Wii U vs Switch argument, it depends. The Wii U is coming to the end of its life (I believe Nintendo even said that this would be the last first party game for it from them). However, that does bring with it the advantage of having a fleshed out game library immediately to pull from. With the Switch, you have to play the waiting game a bit. In terms of third party titles, I personally have come to accept that I don't buy Nintendo consoles for those. I buy them for Pokémon, Zelda, Smash, etc. This is just me though, so you need to evaluate how important those are to you. However, we do have a tentative hope that third party support will be better for the Switch than the Wii U, as we've been shown that Skyrim will be coming and I believe that there were other big name ones as well. You'd need to do some independent research on that front. With the Switch we do have a good bit of uncertainty regarding a new things, with the virtual console and online functionality coming to mind. Virtual console (IIRC) will not be on the Switch at launch, and Nintendo is switching to a paid online functionality model in late 2017 with online being available for free at launch until such a time they make the actual, pardon the pun, switch. We do not have the price points yet, but some news from a Japanese financial source (or something similar) put current estimates at $20 to $30 per year. A few other notes: no web browser and no media streaming apps at launch. One last thing: there have been a good number of reports on some issues with the connectivity in the left Joy Con, but Nintendo hasn't said much on this other than they are investigating. From what I understand, it only becomes an issue when you are 10+ feet away from the tablet part of the console. Now, as far as Breath of the Wild... The Wii U version has absolutely no special game pad features as confirmed by Nintendo and people that managed to get the game early. This includes inventory management and map screens a la TPHD and WWHD. It does have off TV gamepad play though, so that's... something. Now, to get to the bad-ish news. People that have (reportedly) gotten their hands on the Wii U copy early (either legitimately or not) are reporting that there are some pretty heavy frame drops in "busy" areas of the game. For some more information, I'd recommend doing your own research. You can go to the Zelda subreddit and find a few topics on it (beware spoilers, but it's relatively safe). The Switch version reportedly runs much better and only rarely has issues. Of course, you also have to evaluate whether you want to be able to take BotW on the go with you. If you have any questions or any thing, I'd be happy to help.
  15. Maybe (for Reborn), have the Mega Stones go into pouch by themselves as well? Or share one with Z Crystals? I mean, if anything it'd make more sense to have the Mega Stones as their own tab as there are nearly 50 last I checked? In any case, it'd be a nice little quality of life improvement!
  16. Bestbuy still has preorders going for the BotW Special Edition. Preordered with absolutely zero regrets.

  17. So, I found out my debit card was compromised and someone made off with nearly $500 this morning. But this evening found out an old "crush" of mine very much felt the same. So altogether good day?

      Considering I can pretty easily deal with the debit card issue, have the charges reversed, and go buy a plane ticket to see them? Hell yes. No regrets. 10/10 would do again.

  18. For existing playthroughs, like baldr said, it would be around leaving the Circus Data Office. For "new" playthroughs:
  19. "Yes Alex, I'll take 'I'd rather jump off a tall building than solve another chess puzzle' for $1000."

  20. I just noticed that Flabébé isn't listed under Noel to Radomus. As far as I'm aware, that's the earliest point to find her (might be wrong though).
  21. Uh. Someone just Wonder Traded me their bomb ass Blaziken. As I highly doubt this was intentional, if you message me, we can try to arrange to have it returned!
