  1. F can only be for Fire! I look forward to being a part of this team!
  2. This looks like a good chance to be involved! I swear, I'm the only person I know who's more introverted online than in real life... Forum Name: Drymus Server Name: Drymus Joined: 2015 Favorite Types: Fire, Psychic Least Favorite: Poison Did not participate in Pokenations 1 Availability: Usually weekdays after 5pm EST (I'm on Mountain Time), sometimes at other times. Never Sundays. My work schedule varies from week to week, but I usually know when I'm working 2 weeks in advance.
  3. This is why my Arcanine knows Heat Wave. On the plus side, my Butterfree's favorite move (Sleep Powder) could see some use. Wait... Whimsicott > Prankster > 100% paralysis chance > On both Pokemon ... Yep. Arcanine. Set the thing on fire. And then we'll put the Grassy Terrain overtop and set that on fire too. I love Arcanines.
  4. I don't mind HMs, seeing as they can be forgotten at will...
  5. I'd like the secondary typings to be a triangle in the opposite direction of the primary types.
  6. Combinations are the number of ways you can get a set number of items from a pool of items, when order doesn't matter. n is the size of the pool, and r is how many items you are taking out of the pool. The number of combinations can be determined by the formula: nCr = (n!)/(r!(n-r)!) For example, if you have 6 items and you want to pick 3 of them. The number of potential outcomes is 6C3 = 6!/(3!(6-3)!) = 20 possible combinations Permutations are basically the same thing, except order does matter. (The same elements but a new order is considered to be a separate possibility, like placings in a race.) The formula you use for permutations is nPr = (n!)/((n-r)!) For the same numbers above, we have 6P3 = 6!/((6-3)!) = 120 possible permutations Hope that helps! And sorry, no idea what annuities are...
  7. Yay, I finally have a 2DS! Now, a question: Which should I get, Y or OR?

Jokes aside, just flip a coin.

    3. Shadow Sketches

      Shadow Sketches

I think there's more content in OR but not entirely sure.

    4. Commander

      Commander

Awakening. Sorry, I had to. But for Pokemon I'd say OR...though you're not really missing out on much imo.

  8. 1996 makes me a rat. I do like to hide out in corners of society and win games with somewhat cheap strategy...
  9. Wow... Right off the bat you're taking the worst gym battle you've had so far... Rest in peace Sickle, you've earned this break...
  10. Radomus doesn't seem to be using his castle right now. I'd fix up the power and live there for a while.
  11. What is a logic? Do I use it to cut apples? Death toll is starting to stack up... Also just be glad the hacker didn't give that damn ball Toxic... That would be demonic...
  12. Just out of curiosity, is this a blind run? I have seen that Faceleech ruin people. Good job not losing anyone! 2 HP though... Will we be seeing Gyarados anytime soon?
  13. Cinnabar Island Gym to undergo heavy repairs: When challenging Blaine, the Fire leader of Kanto, one would think that not much could go wrong if you bring your Swampert along for the battle. However, after one trainer repeatedly used Earthquake in their battle, the roof collapsed. League Officials are debating whether or not Earthquake belongs on the Ban List.
  14. The strange egg does "hatch" into a legitimate Pokemon, so I say it should be legal. Poor Nookington, never got to become a dragon...
  15. Some other good Ground types include Flygon and Camerupt, as they take neutral from some of Ground's common weaknesses. As for second types, maybe fire?
  16. I feel like you and Dero connect on a spiritual level when talking to Birch... I've seen only one successful Nuzlocke of this all the way to the true ending... They had 2 Pokemon on the team and 4 untrained in the box when all was said and done...
  17. Damnit. So many deaths. Those farewells... Watching this part as a Nuzlocke makes me see Radomus's actions in a whole new light. I suppose it's too much to hope for another round of alchemy? Thank Helix for One Punch Mako at the end there.
  18. My Sylveon was also able to beat it with its resistance + high Sp Def & high Sp Atk.
  19. She was a pushover before if you set Rain Dance. Jan says he buffed her, so if you want a bit of a challenge...
  20. Magikarp was axed in a previous version. The Pokemon availability guide will tell you whether a Pokemon is available or not. The quest line will be completed in a future version.
  21. Ninjask: C +160 Base Speed +Access to Speed Boost, Swords Dance, and Baton Pass make it an ideal partner for physical attackers or even special attackers that just need an increase in speed -Dismal defenses -There are better attackers out there... Available after Valerie EDIT: Derp Detect is on my Yanmega, not Protect on my Ninjask...
  22. I can't believe we all rushed it with our bare hands. My Gardevoir + Melia's Gardevoir + whatever Venam sent out would have had enough friendship to take it out... Also, I love the attitude the main character has in the dialogue choices. One question: Is there a place I can revive the fossil I stole found?
  23. Angie's "pet" worries me somewhat... I'm assuming it'll be a legendary... Maybe Hoopa? I'm not 100% familiar with the lore of Hoopa, but it does deal with alternate dimensions, right? Just finished the main storyline, amazing work! Can't wait to find the sidequests.
  24. Rejoice, for the nightmare that was Valerie has been smited.
