Ah, I see. This reminds me a bit of Lord Wallace's strategy which consisted in dodging attacks by sending specific mons alternatively rather than just taking damage and faint. Also, since Curse can't be removed with Full Restores, that must have been even more convenient. Well done!
And I agree, reducing foe's attacks thanks to Intimidate can be really useful in battles against physcial opponents and some bosses.

@Q-Jeiyeah LW's video was my inspiration, even more so after I found out that I could breed on Toxic Spikes and get a damn good status tank/hazard setter out of the bargain. Solrock was brought along just by dint of having embargo and a ground immunity, but I worked Granbull into my team for exactly this reason.
@Angelothat's the strangest thing, I thought he did (he does in Lord Wallace's video) and yet, when he could have saved his Pokemon, he didn't. I misspoke earlier, he didn't even use one. I'm guessing he got nerfed.

Back in the saddle--just spent an hour today training Gastrodon and Cofagrigus. I should have held back yamask for the faster levels, but I thought mayyybe cofa could down the maccargos in pyrous Mountain by herself. She can.... sometimes.
Cofagrigus is my first specially bred and EV trained Pokemon, with toxic spikes and 100+ def evs and counting. I think she has the highest defense of Pokemon I own rn, and she's only 36!
edit: both Gastrodon ("Shelly") and Cofagrigius ("Cleo") are now level 38. Cleo has 117 defense EVs and a stat of 126. I'm trying to get her tanky to 1. hazard-set against physical opponents and 2. tank garchomp in the upcoming fight so she can set curse before she dies, as I'm hoping to save my focus sash for another time.

I should go back and play some more of this game again. I really want to see that Larvesta I got from the mystery egg actually do some work.
I was going to say "finish" but then I remembered I still had like 13 more gym leaders to go (last was Kiki).

Things that will never get old: my gen 1 Xander taking like 3 damage from whatever bow-wielding fuck IS added this month, and killing him on the counter with Bonfire.

I want Corviknight to be on my team more than I want a starter.

Tomorrow is Homestuck Day and Hussie just posted the "_____...2!!!" Gif on Tumblr. I fear for my life.

r/warframe continues its yearly tradition of becoming an utter shitshow for April 1. pix~

So what do you all think of that p5r proto-announcement? Is this mysterious girl going to be FeMC or Marie 2?

Do y'all think the edgier deconstruction heavy fangames such as Reborn and Desolation could be classified as poke-punk?

JJBA is a realistic series because the main characters are constantly freaking the hell out, which is a rational reaction to literally anything that happens in JJBA.

I am getting Scorbunny and naming her Cammie

Gen:LOCK today freaking killed me.

this... this was something alright. while not as heavy as the Fall of Beacon (great... now I'm crying again), it was still some heavy stuff.
Spoilerand the question of the Black mech, or I guess Chase, being answered is never a bad thing. Weller's supposed Sacrifice, the anvil, and thus the last line of defense (for what we know) having fallen...
1all in all, Gen:LOCK is without a doubt one of RT's biggest shows thus far. And I can completely understand why they marketed it the way they did.

the delay between hitting submit and the post actually going up is a moment of utter, irrational regret

I'm legit pissed about kayle's post-rework design. Riot took a set of perfectly normal, rational armor and turned into typical hourglass-figure big-breasted "armor" that ladies in fantasy are supposed to get by with these days.
