    Started watching The Dragon Prince yesterday. The animation is a bit choppy but the same strength of writing that made Atla so good still shines through.

      Yeah the animation is choppy but it works pretty well for the action scenes(probably the most important part) and it's just fun ride in general,  I'm going to start season 2 tomorrow probably as I've been waiting for it. I didn't even know it was from the Avatar crew at first.

    Divinity: Original Sin II is a good game. Playing Elf/Warfare/Necro rn and it's pretty fun so far.

      Aw man that sucks. I can see why it would though, super detailed graphics for an isometric rpg. Definitely better than anything Bethesda's made lol

      Wouldn't directly say that myself, as both, while rpgs, play greatly different. Like Pokémon and Digimon

    Rejuv has this issue big time, I have a Vivillion with Psybeam, Gust, Stun Spore, and Light Screen and it's so hard to tell which I have selected.

    Oh yeah absolutely. Even just Automize+Gear Grind on factory field is enough for even a super slow Klang to attempt to set up and sweep. Beheyeem I actually haven't tried yet, but now I really want to. I'll see if I roll it on my next run. Camerupt: I couldn't agree more. It's seriously difficult to find something this camel doesn't have SE coverage for, and the fire resistance is amazing for a ground type. If only he didn't die to a wet breeze...

    So excited for the new BBTAG balance changes. Sure my main Ruby is getting nerfed, but she's still likely gonna be a strong character regardless, and my other most played characters, like Merkava and Aigis, are all getting buffed.

      Weiss is nice. She has a lot of projectiles and set-up potential with her glyphs.

       

      I mostly main Ruby/Merkava and use Merkava's forward assist to try and win neutral. However, I'm not very good at it 😛

      I would just main Weiss cuz she's still my favorite character from RWBY (close second is the, for now, VAless Qrow)

      Yeah I will agree Weiss is excellent in Rwby proper. It's honestly the same for me lol, if BBTAG didn't have rwby in it I wouldn't have bought it.

       

      Ruby's technically my second favorite after Penny, but ofc she's A. not in Tag B. not even in rwby anymore T-T. At least every other robot girl in tag has a Penny reference alt-color. And season 2 is likely coming soon, and she's one of the favorites (alongside Qrow and Adam) to get in!

    iirc, Blake's fight is just before Serra's gym battle. If so, Nature Power on Serperior (or any other grass-types you have around) turns into Mirror Shot in the mirror field, and gets buffed to high heaven, including gaining the ability to never miss. I'd say it's a must-have. Otherwise, your team seems super well-rounded, and I don't think I can offer any better advice on who or what to grab in order to improve it.

    It's s bizzare how Dusknoir can have three stats equal or greater than 100 and still be so bad that no-one at Smogon wants anything to do with it.

      He lacks a strong STAB move, just like every physical Ghost type except Marshadow, and he lacks a consistent recovery move, limiting his stall options. Plus his HP are low.

       

      But he is still decent for a run. Smogon is played under specific rules. Not every pokemon can shine there.

      Probably just to keep burning physical Mons throughout the game. Pain Split is actually alright for this, given DK's abysmal hp.

       

      Also yeah, we could really use a widespread 80+ power physical ghost move, and a 50-60 power widespread physical poison move for Mons like Grimer to be decent early game.

    just spent like 45 minutes making a post only to have it dissapear before my very eyes. wut.

     

    Oh well, at least writing it let me make up my mind on which pokemon to use. Gastrodon might not have the greatest physical bulk, but Storm Drain should protect Camerupt from Toxapex while they wreak havoc on the enemy poison types.

    I've actually seen a Cofagrigus with maximum defense EVs (which you can get from the rock smash Maccargo in mt. Pyrous) tank the first hit from Garchomp, as long as it isn't one of the STABs. That said, I wouldn't totally bet on it. Also helpful for that fight: a flying and fairy teammate eg Mawile/Granbull and Weezing, because GC tends to go for STABs and if its target is immune to one, it will likely use the other. Therefore, you can keep switching and likely stall out several turns of curse this way.

    I'm trying to build a physical tank Cofagrigus. I bred T-spikes and a modest nature, but....her defense IV is, like, 1. I'm thinking of just using this one, and catching another one later on with better IVs to breed when I have more money for pokeballs.

    I love how Charlotte is the commonly-agreed-on "hardest gym in the game" and you just kinda....run her over. I suppose that's the value of good EVs and level grinding.

    -Ever since I had it pointed out to me that Garchomp and its mega echo Ryuko from Kill la Kill's Senketsu and the spiky variant she used to beat Ira Gamagoori, every Garchomp I get is named Ryuko. -Any dog pokemon I use get named after dogs I've had; if it's a dark type, it's almost always Daisy because she is just terribly behaved. -The first frog I get is always Billious Slick from homestuck -Blaziken is always Foghorn Leg in reference to Foghorn Leghorn and also because that was my starter in my first run of reborn. -Metagross is always "Quantum" -Azumarill is always Azura -Female Ampharos is always Aradia in another HS reference and also because she is a sheep. ...yeah, I do this a lot

    My least favorite types are Normal, Fighting, Fairy, and Grass. My favorite Normal is Exploud (for kinda being its own element with sound moves), my favorite fighting is Lucario because it's the only non-legendary fighting-steel, favorite fairy is Mawile because of its kickass mega (and being fairy/steel), and my favorite grass is probably Decidueye right now, just because I like its design.

    I just reached Apophyll for the first time and it's AMAZING. I love the different music for everything, the new wild pokemon, and the general calm atmosphere of the academy. Even if fighting isn't exactly my favorite type, Apophyll is definitely my favorite part of Reborn so far.

     

    Also Pulse Muk was a bastard but thankfully I had a cat with dual screens and a ghost owl with a special defense stat.

    Finally finished episode 2 of Gen:LOCK. I'm so psyched! I'm very happy with how RT has finally gotten a diverse set of main characters, I love Tennant as Dr. Weller, and the Power Ranger vibes from the different color mechs really speak to me. 

    And that opening? Is a damn banger.

      No, actually, uh, I'm piggy-backing off another person's FIRST account, and also, episode 2 won't ever be available for free. All episode after 1 will be permanently first-only, presumably to pay for the much larger budget compared to rwby and especially RvB.

      Unless the story going forward takes a deep dive I'd say go for it. The animation and characters are all top-notch imo.

    Just beat Shade for the first time ever! I'm finally on to new (to me) content for the first time in YEARS! Couldn't be happier.

    Won by using prankster screens, discharge to change to factory field, and Klingklang's Gear Grind to absolutely eat Mimikyu alive.
