Ancient Sacred Wyvern is in the game, yes. andat least jack leaves you some useful cards. Ultimate offering, end of the storm and some others

Personally, the Gen 5 games have become my favorite mainstream games, especially in terms of characters and story.  B/W were the games that closest resembled my experience as a kid, starting Red with little to no clue what the game was about (I had seen one older kid playing it and thought it looked fun).  B2/W2 hold the 'best sequel' status for me for much the same reason, since they showed just how much  region changed (but still stayed the same) in 2 years.

I mean, technically b/w2 are the only sequals so far

G/S/C don't count?  I mean, they aren't directly, but they do show Kanto a few years in the future from R/G/B/Y  and continue the team Rocket storyline from those games.

To be fair Sans does instantly start with his "strongest" attack

its a cool attack, but you get used to how it works really quickly after dying 40+ times and having to go through that very attack every time. his later-stage attacks, past the point where you can spare him, were much tougher for me.

I tried beating Sans around 30-40 times, then quit. Sometimes I feel like I should have tried a little harder, but...

Ranger, Conquest and Mystery Dungeon are all amazing spinoffs that need to be continued

gyarados isn;t really that good in gen 2. between gens 1 and 4 it it's pretty avarage due to not having good stab to take advantage of

its still a gyarados, though it is a fact that gen II has the weakest gyarados of all gens.

If you an (j)RPG gamer, I highly, highly recommend considering a switch since that thing is loaded with them . Half my jRPG library is PS3 switch games.

I do enjoy RPG's, but the main reason for the switch is being able to confirm how Ike plays with his buffs

Do you have Lewyn yet? He'd probably be the most broken unit ever if he showed up in any other game but in Genealogy he actually has trouble keeping up, just because he doesn't have a horse.

I don't yet, but looking at him I can see why he might be that OP in another game (90%  speed growth? son of a bitch that's high) and the skills are good. but due to him not having a horsey I can easily see why in fe4 he's lacking (if the game gets remade, that is definitely something that requires some alteration)

Memes associated with a fandom certainly stick around for a while.  People were complaining about how old and tired the 'Sakuya's Pads' meme was when I first got into Touhou in ~2010, and it's still brought up occasionally even after I got back into Touhou last year.

Well, you're not wrong there. RBY/FRLG are classics, but playing them these days always makes me miss all the advancements we've made since.

@FairFamily exactly. The only problems you may have with Reborn is when your team is ill-suited to face the problems ahead. Can't really blame that on the game.

I for one have never had any problems with the Fiore mansion part. Every time I did it, it took me either one or two tries, and I never ever had to grind new team members for it. But ofc that's just me, and other players will have had more trouble here, whereas I'll have more trouble than them during other fights. It's just a matter of what you have on your team.

You can still load up your save in episode 16,teach it acrobatics and then load the episode 17.You will have to box your gen 7 pokemon before doing this.

I definitely did not do that in rejuvenation to teach my crobat acrobatics.

My point is that we shouldn;t get our hopes up for the switch game being the next main series game, be it gen 8 or gen 4 remakes. It's most likely going to be a spin off like Coloseum

Game Freak has only ever made main series games. In fact, with them releasing a new game basically every year now, excluding 2015, they don't really have time to make spin offs, so them making one would be unusual. The only reason they announced the switch game this early was because all the people who were upset that USUM is on 3ds (I'm talking about the ones who believed the Eurogamer Stars coming to Switch rumors). They announced the game at E3 as a way to tell fans that they are working on a game.

Of course this is only what I believe, but I think the game(s) being referred to are Gen 8. 

I know they did, which really baffels me to be honest. I mean why be upset the a franchise that has had 100% succes on handhelds stays on handhelds? But in any case, I'm gonna try to keep a clear mind about it and not slam my head on the keyboard hoping that the game will have all regions, an openly explorable overworld with those regions, pokemon walking behind you and all the other gimmicks. I'm jusy gonna hope that the game is fun for those who will play it.

And one hope I've seen that I'm just gonna debunk now tho: Nuzlocke mode. That's a Fan Made thing, gamefreak won't ever add that to the real games.
