I wouldnt say forum is dead, just that the focus has shifted towards the reborn subfora and the status feed. some places, like the wasteland, have been less active because barely anyone of the current forum regulars is interested in keeping it alive, I guess.

noteworthy to point out while a bit outdated, its still a fact that holy fuck why does it take so long to get that strength hm. changing that would require putting something in its place, as to make a trip that is like a fifth of the entire fucking game atm not completely irrelevant to everything that is happening at that moment. either that or rewriting the entire thing, which would take way too long. also, as previously mentioned, theyre not nearly as crippling as they were in core series, due to the ability to overwrite them at any given moment. tl;dr- editing out hms would be much more than a hassle than its worth since theyre very minor inconveniences at best in reborn. you horrible person. -

its not entirely on you. id think the compatibility between you and aforementioned people (barring your long-time friend) wasnt that great. the only thing I really can say is this- keep looking for people you have common grounds with. the same interests, the same places you visit, whatever you can think of. in person or online- either can work. it can become tedious really quickly, and it will seem like theres no light at the end of the tunnel, but there is. the vast majority of people absolutely need friendship in their life, albeit to different extents, and id be damned if a decent chunk of those wouldnt want to be in your circle of friends. good luck. I honestly hope its gonna turn out well for you.
