The updater has seemed to create a new saved folder, known as 'Rejuv' vs the 'Pokemon Rejuvenation' save folder previously created. I copied the old saves from the 'Pokemon Rejuvenation' folder to 'Rejuv', and the saves were recognized as corrupted. When I attempted to go to the old save, I received the error message in the image below. When I restarted the game, I loaded in and got the 'Converting save file' message. After that, the saves seemed to work. So don't panic if you see these errors.

So excited to play!!! However I keep getting the message "unable to load scripts from "Data/Scripts.rxdata"

Anyone know how to fix this?

How were you able to "load in" after getting this error? After this happens to me my game window just hangs indefinitely and I can't get to the "converting save file" stage. I'm on a mac though so my saved file folder didn't change to Rejuv.

Where can one find the passwords?

I'm on Windows so I'm not sure. But I restarted the game and the saves worked as shown. I'm currently playing on one of the saves, and I haven't seen any issues.

What do you mean "restarted the game?" Created a new saved file or closed and then re-opened the application then your old files just worked?

Has anyone managed to download new file and load on joiplay everytime I download it says files empty after I've extracted them etc? Pleeeeeease help

The manual download doesn't work in terms of getting files for joiplay use? If anybody has managed to make it work can you tell me how I've treid everything I no ... thanks

First of all, Congrats on the new update!!!

after using the manual link and copying the files I get this error

and everytime I try the windows one I just get an error that I should update the game or I get this error.

Now I dont know if I am just to stupid to update the game but help would be appreciated.

Hey jan thank you for all the hard work creating an awesome game like this. I was wondering if you could post the manual download again so us Mac users could play. The update isn't working for the wine software I'm using. Thank you!!

Okay the same thing is happening to me. I've downloaded the update, and right after I click to begin a new game it crashes on me.

Do you also have a pop up that says: "Your data is curropted" ? and then the screen of the game becomes black?

Yeah this is exactly what I see. I submitted the bug and they tagged it currently as "Not Fixed" so we'll see if they get it resolved.

Jan also posted that they can't do anything if you added mods to the game. If the debug of the game is considered as a mod, then I have to find a way to take it off the game

How can i transfer my save from previous versions? I've got all my saves in the rejuv folder but my only option is to start a new game.

What did you do? My mac refuses to open the updater

Updater seems to be having some difficulties... Not sure what to do about this. And manual update locked me out at 83% because Megaupload wants me to give them money.

Also, anyone else having white screen issues? As in, after the first major battle of the new story content, the screen goes white for the animation, but then stays white. Music and all continues, menus work, but the screen is white.

yup getting that exact same error. Do you fixed it? 
Edit: So it seems it has something to do with the updater.yaml since "zip" format wasn´t working I changed it to "7z" and now the comand prompt is asking for a password

Heyy...I'm so sorry to bother you but I have downloaded the updater and the manual link (because the updater didn't work for me)...so I extracted both files (the updater and manual link) into a folder and updated the game...but it still says "run updater to download the game files")

I'm not sure about how to fix that issue. Perhaps put that in the bug report?

Liverpool win their game, my cross country team gets third place in championship meet and rejuv update drops after two and half years.

How did you install your game?

With the updater or the manual link?

Because the manual link doesn't have the game.exe file init so I had to extract the updater zip file into it

I used the link that came with the updator. I had to run it as an administrator a couple times before it worked.

I say this because I extracted the manual and the windows in a folder and used the updater and it gives me this error

Me:

It's not working on Linux for me. I'm in a loop where when I download the game and click the updater the _version.txt appears but immediately vanishes and then when i click on the Game.appimage, it tells me to open the updater file and the same thing happens. I'd use the manual updater, but there's not a Linux version of those files yet

My first prism pokemon went to the void followed by a wall of text I couldn't copy at the time. guess ill have to run into another unless this is a known issue

There was a new update that fixed that Bug for me, so try updating the game if you haven't done so already.

Absolutely loving the the early game changes so far, each update truly makes the game better and better. I also really love that the quest journal is written in the perspective of the pc.

my save files got corrupted when i put them in the new save folder, and when I try to open the menu i get this error

EDIT: i've figured it out, it was due to something in the mod folder that screwed everything up when carried over

I am facing updater issue . I ran the updater . Even after that  the game its again showing run the updater to download game files. Please anyone help me

I am also getting the "invalid zip file" error when I try to run the update. Not sure where to go from here

It started for me now. Delete all the files and download the manual file first and then the windows one. Extract all in one folder and directly run the game. See if your os is up to date before downloading. It worked for me. 

When i try to run on joiplay i grt error scripts rx error message and no game exe file any ideas ?

"Lurking Lighthouse" Quest + Whatever quest on the Mt.Terajima peak with April currently both Results in a completely blanked out screen (Music plays and menu opens but black screen)

Converted Save

I'm on a Mac and am just getting an immediate "Rejuvenation cannot be opened because of a problem." when I try to open it myself. Clicking Report and reading over it there's something about a CoreHaptics Framework Image not being loaded maybe? It's not very clear. If it makes a difference I am still running OS 10.13.6 High Sierra since I've got a number of 32-bit programs I still use.

I'm stuck at this screen tried both input options and can't continue nothing works any ideas guys..

I downloaded both the widows and manual and then extracted into the main golder and moved the animedtr.rb to data file from scripts and it worked but now can't get passed the naming your character screen as won't allow input after typed your name any ideas

I gotta say. I really love the changes to some of the locations. Terajuma is gorgeous, I love that the entire map is now one screen aside from Grand dream city whose map is really charming, I'm really enjoying everything so far. I have encountered a number of issues tho. Wiping out to the first boss of the new update sent me to a beach house (which is kinda cool), taking the teleporter stuck me in the wall of Sashila Village Pokecenter (it seem to get fixed by healing at a different one). The new quest with the light house bugs out after the last Ampharos saved making the whole screen black and most importantly I can't get black prisms. Whatever it's by fight or by items. Catching mons that have those just doesn't count them as existing and getting them from pokeballs straight up crashes the game. Here's the message error I get.

I think I found a way to make it work for high sierra. you have to download the old v13 game, and then download the v13.5 files (NOT the updater), and just replace the contents of the v13 folder with the new ones by clicking show contents on the app. It seems to be working for me for now at least! Hopefully any patches will be uploaded separately so we can manually update as needed because the updater just does not work on high sierra.

my debug mode was a mod, so if you want to delete it, you just have to find it in the mod folder and delete it. Also, the debug mod isn't the only problem, some other mod (don't know which one yet) makes it impossible for you to exit your bag. All I know is that it isn't miningforrich, walk through walls or autohook.

Got it working on Joiplay (so far). Didn't manage to get it working without a Windows PC. Downloaded the V13.5 on my pc where I did the part of completing my character and played a little through untill the ship explodes. Then, saved the file which I put into my Android phone and it seems to be working pretty well so far (or hopefully untill the patch for joiplay is available without this way to play)

i cant get the black prisms i am getting an exception. Please help

Alright guys !i have been playing quiet a bit now of 13.5 ( i spend the whole day playing dont judge me)

if you have problems with the updater: use the alt download with Mega, if Mega keeps getting stuck get the Desktop app of Mega it is FREE ! creating an account was free for me, you dont need to pay a single penny for it, once i used the Desktop App the Download went smoothly for me.
now for the Game related Questions: 50% of the Reborn Passwords work for Reju, i put some i used in 2 save files so far:
easyhms, hardmode, litemode, freemegaz, mintyfresh, most of the QoL works except for Weather App etc. just try the Codes from Reborn page.

for the Joiplay people, i have no clue imagine playing rpgx on mobile phone exde

however i have some bugs to report: i dont have audio for "Victory Trainer" and Gearen Park, i dont know why and how, and i have the same issue as some other when i encounter the Rainbow Pokemon with the Prism and Catch it the game crashes with a textbox, i will try to get a screen of that for Jan.

I had similar problem with the file today. I copied the save file outside the conversion backup file and did the same thing inside the file (It was a crazy mistake) However I retraced my steps and deleted the copied files outside the conversion file and left the files 'game' and settings' and left the conversion file with the first copied files untouched loaded the game and boom I got my save file.  I have windows so no other problems and issue resolved.

Have downloaded the game just today a few hours ago. Definitely be curious to explore the game

On a Mac. I know someone reported a bug issue for the message "... save file is corrupted...". I don't have any mods or debugs and am also having trouble finding my save files to copy over. Has this "problem" been fixed yet? : 3

I'll explain what worked for me, after trying different things I:

1- Downloaded from manual download.

2- I updated.

3- From inside the game I selected saved folders shortcut.

    With this update there are to folders :

    Rejuvenation (the old one)

    Rejuv (the new one)

4- My problem was that the first conversion didn't go right, so I deleted all inside rejuv and I copied manually all the files in Rejuvenation to rejuv

5-I closed the game and reopened it and it wrote "converting" in the upper part of the screen

6- Then it recognised my save file and everything went as Jan said in the post.

Please this is what worked for me but keep your save files safe.

Aaaagh, it seems the CoreHaptics error requires at least updating beyond High Sierra, so I finally bit the bullet and updated my OS to Big Sur since I can't go further thanks to some bullshit about needing the original Apple storage drive to update the EFI firmware so I can update it at all (side note, I hate the way the UI looks now, it pisses me off), but I'm getting sidetracked.

Anyways, new Rejuvenation finally started up fine, I corrected spelling errors I made editing the montext/movetext files, and now I've hit a wall with the Corrupted Save File error. I know there's supposed to be something about moving the save files to a new 'Rejuv' save folder, but I can find no such folder anywhere, so I'm not sure what to do here.

EDIT: And yes, after clicking Okay on the error notice it just hangs silently on a black screen, never loading the menu. So I can't get to the save folder or do anything from there.

In the bug problems list it's still in the category "not fixed", so maybe they're still working on it, we have to see

 Have you copied the game app of the previous version from the save file of the old folder outside the conversion back up file. I tried this on mine which is windows and it worked. Let me know If it worked.

Is it Windows Defender? 

Just a mild update, it seems having Debug enabled in the Main.rb script has some effect. If I have it enabled, I get the corrupted error upon startup followed by a silent black screen. If I have it disabled I get the normal splash screen and title screen, but then get the error and silent black screen when I press Enter to move to the main menu. It otherwise seems to be the same error however.
