Lynsal, seeing the room open with the Kenku inside, remembered that was the room where he woke up. "Ah, maybe it is inside." Saying this, he walks past the rest of the group and starts searching around in the room, to no avail. Stepping over the dead Kenku, he fails at finding his bottle and then frustrated, sits down on the left side of the door outside in the hallway, pulling out a bottle from his robes. "Oh, wait. Here it is. Hold up guys, I found my bottle, I'm coming too." He chases after Kaeso and the rest towards their other compatriots. "So, Mainhun Shukr guy, what are we doing here?"

"Make it quick Tabaxi."

Upon hearing Nadine's comment, Avani nodded his head slightly. Kaeso's comment seemed to stop him for a second and the Kenku's eyes locked unto the drips of blood on the floor.

"....Avani?"

".......... Yeah?"

"You remember which door lead to the saferoom? It was supposed to be open and guarded."

"Not a clue."

"Err.... Avani? You slammed that door pretty hard back there... What for?"

"Oh... that?...... No reason........ The floor was a mess. Why do you ask?."

"You, uh... seemed a little different....."

"........"

Sensing the tenseness of Avani about that subject, Fuelin let an ackesrd silence drop.

Jeanna found her weapons in one of the closed closets. And once she was equipped, she exited the room only to hear the Kenkus talking about a safe room. She did not really trust them after what they did, but she was willing to not cause more unneeded trouble, though she decided to remain alert.

A few minutes later, some Kenkus called Feulin and Avani, seemed to have forgotten which room was the safe room, and didn't seem to really care to remember.

"Feulin, my good sir, would you be so kind as to do your best to remember which room was the safe room? I'm a lady after all, it would be very courtious of you to help me" Said Jeanna, trying to persuade the Kenku to remember (rolled persuation, 15)

Kaeso turned slightly to face the drunken monk before he said, "Well I would love to say that we are about to head to the safe room the Kenku had placed the Triton and the Creature after they abducted them in the night my friend, but rather unfortunately they seem to have forgotten where said room was located for an unspecified. Now I will suggest that one of them remember where said safe room was located pretty quickly; before I start to randomly bash in doors that seem as if they were opened and closed recently and start to call out their names or titles rather loudly in an attempt to wake someone who might be able to locate them up. Now if said someone just happened to be someone who was supposed to guard a noble, and if they just happened to have carried a weapon with them at all times that your barbarians forgot to remove from him. Then I honestly don't know what will happen."

((Help action to grant Jeanna advantage, she rolled a 20))

Lynsal scratches his head, "I have no idea what you are saying, priest guy. It's one of these doors, yes? Just open it." With that, Lynsal runs straight towards the central door, pushing into it with his shoulder. (Strength check 12)

Exiting his room with his equipment, Gael followed his companions and heard the Kenkus seemingly having trouble remembering which door led to the safe room.

"Yeah... suuure."

While Lynsal tries to bust the central door open, Gael takes a look at the left-most door, searching for anything that would seem unusual about it. (investigation check 16)

Lynsal pushed in the door and found himself in a cramped room of about ten feet. The door creaking open when it wasn't meant to made a loud sound drawing the attention of the two Kenku. The room was low and full of hammocks stacked on top of each other with what appeared to be a half finished card game laying on the table in the room's center

"Could you not knock the fucking doors open please. I know that's the crew quarters, but it seems someone already broke into it. I wonder who. I owe no debt to you, miss. You may be a lady, but you are not part of the crew. I believe it was one of those two doors over there." Fuelin points to the doors Gael and Nadine are at without looking in their direction. Nadine sneakily opens the door without the Kenku noticing and finds barrels upon barrels of various labels, some of which you recognize. A barrel of grapes sits in the corner and a rack of wines and alcohol sit in the back.

Noticing that door doesn't lead to the safe room, Nadine closes it even more stealthily (16). She back away from the door and discretely positions herself in front of the door to the right but closer to the opposite wall in a way that if an enemy -or ally- jumped out of the room and attacked she would have enough time to react. "I think I heard a faint noise coming from the door to the right, could that be the one?"

Lynsal,  noticing the room to be a sort of sleeping area for the crew, starts searching in the room for a trap door or some hidden compartment or something of the sorts. (Perception check 23) "Anybody want to help me look in this room for a trapdoor or something of the sorts?"

"Sure I'll help you out, Lynsal" Said Jeanna. She pondered the risks. They could very well be putting themselves in quite the vurnerable position. The Kenku could not be trusted, and ,as she suspected, none of these doors seem to be the 'safe room'. She kept her hands close to her daggers, ready to strike if the Kenku tried any foul play.

Desmond, tired of all this Kenku's bullshit, got impatient. He pointed his finger to the last door, and shot an Eldritch Blast towards it, blasting the door.

"There we go. Now who wants to go in first?"

Lynsal steps out when he hears the blasting nearby. "What is happening guys? Who blew open the door? Oh well, let's go." Lynsal walks into the room that had it's door blasted open. He takes a look around to see what he notices. (rolled an 8 on perception) The only thing Lynsal notices is the dust in the air from the blast and the fragments of wood on the ground from the door. "Hey look guys, pieces of wood on the floor. I wonder where they came from?" Lynsal picks one up and walks towards the rest to show the piece.

Jeanna was't surprised when Desmond blasted the door to pieces, after all she too was irritated with all of this Kenku shit. Even though she agreed on not fighting the Kenkus anymore, she couldn't believe a single word. She keps her hands close to her daggers. She saw Lysnal steeping in and out of the room, but she wouldn't enter just yet. She thought that, for now, the best action is to try and seeing that everyone was distracted by the fact that Desmomnd blew up the door, decided to head into the crew's room and hide under the table. (Dexterity 16)

Somewhat surprised by Desmond's sudden use of an Eldritch Blast to destroy the door he was examinating moments ago, Gael muttered "warlocks smh" and peered into the opening, hoping to perceive any incoming danger. (Perception 12)

The door, which was now blown open and splintered into sharp points in some spots around the frame, was gone. Through the gaping hole in the wall you could see through the dimly lit room to make out 4 moving shapes, 2 of which were Kenku. The second set was Zarrick and Creature. Multiple shapes could be seen on the floor lying calmly, a few of which were snoring.

Avani was was stunned by Desmond's display, while Fuelin was absolutely livid.

"You are not welcome here anymore. Get out. Now. Go into the safe room which is no longer safe due to the fucking door being blown open by your stupid fucking plan to fucking blow it the fuck up. Could you not have actually tried to open it? Go sit in the saferoom and stop fucking things up."

"Uh... what. The. Fuck? Why... never mind."

One of the Kenku from the Saferoom walked out, a livid expression of confusion and anger on her face.  "Avani? What... Why Avani? Why would you betray us? Do you not want wings? Do you want to kill us all?"

"Stala, why would we fucking betray you and the rest if the god damn crew? The damn half-elf who couldn't stay asleep blew the damn door open because he doesn't know how to open them. What sort of idiot can't open a door. Be wary around these fools, Stala."

"Is that so? I assume the two awake in her belong to them then. Sigh. You two can go. Now what in God's name compelled you to blow up a door?"

"D-Desmond! That was totally unnecessary. " Exclaimed the tiefling, clearly bothered by the rash action of her companion. "We are trying to clear this whole mess up and you go and LITERALLY blow it. I know they haven't been the best hosts to us, but we are still on their ship, the last fight has caused a lot of trouble, and I think it's in everyone's best interest not to start a fight again. Let's behave at the very very least until we reach land, alright?" Nadine sighs in disappointment and turns towards Avani. "I'm incredibly sorry about the door of the saferoom. I'll stay awake and guard it to make up for that." (I roll persuasion just in case, 8)

Kaeso quickly gestures in Gael's direction with his still bloody morningstar as he glowered at Desmond and said, "You do realize that literally any of the Kenku here could have unlocked this door for us? And that the thief could have done so surreptitiously if he was urged to do so? Patience, you must learn to have it my child."

He then slowly turned to face the Kenku and walked over to the more than slightly devilish looking woman and said, "I am a better guard than I am a carpenter, I will keep watch over the safe room as well."

((Help action Nadine))

Tan saw Desmond blasting the door into pieces and couldn't help but sigh at his companion's action. "Much  as i'm annoyed by all these, that wasn't a great idea blasting down the doors." Having said that, Tan stepped inside the room and inspected  Zarrick's and bean creature's condition to see if any harm came to them and whether they are in a okay situation

"Look, I don't trust any of you right now, but if you actually wish to help, then you can help out under my supervision. Now Avani, what were you escorting them for?"

"Apparently two of the people you are watching over were part of this group and they wanted them back. They were planning to con to the captain sometime after."

"I asked Avani, not you."

"Look, Avani is out of sorts right now, alright. I don't know what happened, but he saw something. Avani?"

Avani was muttering words under his breath and was bent over coughing. He pulled himself up and a tear could be seen falling from his eye. "Avani? What's wrong?"

"...Feulin... they, they... Remember Mellisar.... they... she'd dead."

"What?"

"Her... her body was in the room."

Feulin stood dead still, while Avani coughed and Stala had a confused, worried expression on her face. Avani let out a scream of anger and charged Jeanna, who happened to be nearby. He drew his short sword and jabbed it forward with ferocious strength, dealing 18 damage(rolled a crit)

Round 1

Jeanna has failed 1 death saving throw.

@Newt

Desmond launched an Eldritch Blast at Feulin, but the attack slammed into the wall behind him, missing. He became cursing some unknown deity about the unfairness of his life and how destiny did this because she is a cruel bitch.

Stala pushed off the wall she was leaning on and drew a longsword from her sheath. She eyed the battle field, looking for an opening, before noticing Yisen standing there with a dumb, oblivious look on his face. Stala lunged, and missed her first swing, expecting the Bard to dodge. He just stood there, and Stala neatly sliced into him, he crumpled upon feeling the blade. (11 damage dealt, attack roll 19) "Never let your guard down, scrub."

@Walpurgis

"You idiot! Jeanna was being carried by your partners when that happened, there's no way she could have killed you friend!

"You all did this! All of you! All of you are guilty! You let this happen! None of you did as your were fucking supposed to fucking do and go to fucking sleep! Now sleep forever!"

Fuelin chose that exact moment to charge Nadine, but she ducked under his swing and dragged Jeanna's armored body back away from Feulin, before hastily trying to help her. Despite her valiant effort with her medical kit, her panic caused her to be hasty. Nothing came about from the attempt."

@Venus

By this point, Creature, who had slipped out of the room earlier alongside Zarrick, lunged behind Nadine and shoved her aside. "The human is mine.... We need you in prime condition for the sacrifice after all..." Creature slapped Jeanna and cast Spare the Dying whilst doing so. Jeanna is now stable with 0 hp.

@Cronos5010

Kaeso quickly turns around to smack Fuelin, who suffered from the morningstar slamming into the side of his face, dealing 5 damage to the bird. "EVERYONE FORM UP AND PROTECT JEANNA!" He turned to the Kenku. "YOU ARE ALL HONORLESS SCUM."

"Murderer! You are no man of honor!"

Avani drew his bow and wiped away a tear before lining up Zarrick. He drew in a breath before sighing. "Never again." He whispered as he let the arrow fly straight into Zarrick, dealing 7 damage.

@Alistair

Gael lunged towards Fuelin, but he stumbled out of the way due to Kaeso's morningstar hitting him in the side of the face.

Zarrick stood dumbly, taking the arrow without flinching, before deciding he had to act somehow. Snapping himself out of some sort of stupor, Zarrick chose to cast Ray of Frost on Stela. With a slice of her blade, the attack utterly fell apart.

@Yash

Lynsal smashed his quarterstaff towards Fuelin, but over extended and hit the floor instead. Out of frustration, he lashed his fist out, which connected with Fuelin, dealing 7 damage.

@Psychic Bean Sheep

Tan looked towards Avani, alarmed due to the arrow which has whizzed past him. With a roar, he charged the poor Kenku. "Please..."

"Become my slave! Arawgh!" Tan knocked Avani out with a swift blow, rendering unconscious on the floor. Except, he wasn't unconscious. He was dead.

"Well, at least we now have a true reason to kill them." Desmond had an indifferent expression, even after seeing his comrades being attacked.

"Let's see..." Desmond turned his attention towards Stalla, who had just sliced the bard apart, and pointed his finger at her, immediately launching an Eldritch Blast and dealing 8 damage.

"Never let your guard down, scrub." Desmond sarcastically said, with what it seemed to be his first smile in this trip.

Starla's eyes widened in surprise as she saw Avani murdered sour of the corner of her eye. So suprised she was, that she stood still long enough for Desmond to hit her.   This snapped her back to reality. "You are next, scrub. Get in the queue, I have bigger fish to slaughter here."

Stalla leapt at Tan, who was near Avani's corpse. She brought her blade down in two swift strokes, the first being a feint. She neatly slammed her blade in Tan's side, dealing 6 damage to the Barbarian.

Guest Sparkin'

Evelynn closes her eyes, and starts muttering. "I have heard the voices of the almighty..." Evelynn glanced at Jeanna's unconscious body and started preparing her spell.

"They demand a sacrifice with your blood." Evelynn cast Sacred Flame on Jeanna, with the intent of killing her mercilessly, while laughing when doing so.
