As Horace and Serra leave the room, Elias tells Horace, "I'll help you out. I wanted to take a crack at that crazy woman anyway." He then makes his way to the elevator, and as the door opens, holds it in place for Serra and Horace. "I'm heading down to the interrogation room. You can join me now, or get whatever you may need and come after that." -
Samantha takes the folder from Serra, opens it and starts reading. Half way through the page, she stands up suddenly, and rushes out of the meeting room. "Oh shit, this is insane. DANIEL! DAAAAANIEEEEL. DANIEEEEEEEEL!" She starts running up the stairs at the other end of the hallway. Elias, seeing this, runs out after her, "What is happening? I think we should follow her." He motions to the others to follow.

Samantha looked at them, listening intently, then says, "Permission, shmermission. We can't wait for that long. Open the case and let's take a look inside." She walks up to Serra's desk, where the case is kept. On examining it, she says, "It's a standard case. Shouldn't be too difficult to open. Any of you have experience with this?"

Samantha was about to answer Serra when Jeanne and Adara entered. She hugged both of them and said, "Nice to meet you, both. I am Samantha and now that all of you are here, after what feels like a week, I can finally get down to the business that Eliot, I think, was talking about." At this point, Elias interrupts, "It's Elias, not Eliot." Samantha smiles at him and says, "Right, right, sorry, Eliems. So, the business I was talking about Sarah, was that you all need to update me on your progress with the case. Dan and Emilia are busy, so now I have to supervise you all. The group from the Forest is not back yet, so we can focus on your investigation till then. Alright, so a quick briefing from one of you, and then let's strategize. We can move into the meeting room near the coffee machine. Let's go. While we walk, umm. Amara! Actually, Eliems, why don't you recap the whole situation. Come on everybody, to the meeting room!" Samantha starts walking away rather quickly expecting the rest to follow. Elias, wondering if Samantha was stupid or annoying, decided to ignore her error with his name and hurry through a recap. "The case was brought to us because of Professor Oak. He was expecting a delivery of a briefcase, but the courier was attacked on the way and the case was stolen from him in Ilex Forest. We split into three teams, one questioning the courier, one checking the Underground and the third investigating the forest. Serra, Horace and I were in the underground team. Adara and Jeanne questioned the courier here at the office. At the underground, we asked around for what the suspects were described to us, and after a little while, we ran into two Team Rocket grunts, who we battled and defeated. After that, we brought them back here. That is pretty much it from our side. Adara, maybe you can fill in what happened during the interrogation?" He said, as he entered the meeting room behind Samantha.

"I was telling you to wake up. This is Samantha, we were supposed to meet her here for the next order of business. Maybe you shouldn't go poking her butt for no reason." Elias said, just as a few people entered. Samantha laughed and said, "Hahaha, no it's good that she knows how to stand up to somebody. At least now I know she isn't a pushover." At which point she turns to Horace, having heard his question, "Yes, I am Samantha. Who might you be?" At which point, she walks up and hugs Horace, and walks back to Serra, hugging her and saying, "And since we haven't been introduced yet, I'm Samantha. Nice to meet you!"

Having heard the announcement, Elias stepped turned off the shower, dried off and quickly changed into a fresh pair of clothes before stepping out of the shower and hurrying to the bullpen. Seeing Adara and Jeanne not having left, he said "Hurry up Adara, Jeanne. Duty calls," making the statement seem intentionally vague and flirty. He left the shower area, stepping into the elevator heading to the fire pokemon habitat room to pick up Lizzie. After picking her up, getting a snack for Lizzie and himself, he makes his way to the bullpen. There he sees Serra, asleep at her desk, and a woman sitting on her desk. Assuming her to be Samantha, he waves and walks up to her. "Hi, I'm the intern, Elias. You must be Samantha?" She nods and as Elias comes closer, gets up from the desk and gives him a hug. "So nice to meet you Elias, I'm Samantha." That is when Elias notices it. That feeling you get when you come across somebody who is truly happy and cheerful. The sudden dread of existence and an urge to step away from the happy people. He quickly moves closer to Serra and wakes her up. "Hey Snorlax. Wake up. Did you even hear the announcement?"

Elias notices Adara staring at him and steps back into the stall. "Uh, these are the showers. Where else would either of us be if we were going to shower. As far as I know, there are no gender specific showers. Also, if you're going to stare like that, you may as well get in." he tells her, in a flirty yet strangely brusque way. Behind her, he sees Jeanne with her phone out, pointed at him and Adara. Turning to face her, he winks and says, "That invitation is open to you too, by the way. I'm much better in person than in a photograph." With that, he steps back into the stall, shutting the door but not locking it and starts his hot shower again.

Elias after dumping the girl on James' desk, and getting sprayed with the perfume by him and Katie, makes his way up to the showers with a set of cloths to change into, a towel and some toiletries. He also drops Lizzie of at the fire pokemon habitat room so that she can rest. He showers, and while showering, just massages his muscles to get rid of some of the exertion. During this time, he hears a strange yelp of sorts, and a thud. Thinking somebody fell and may be hurt, he shuts the shower and wraps his towel around his waist, opening the door to see what happened. He comes face to face with a towel wrapped Adara. "Hey, are you alright? I heard somebody fall. Was that you?" ~~Announcement over the PA system~~ "All new members who have returned after their first investigation, please meet Samantha in the Bullpen once you are ready." All of the people could hear the relatively familiar voice of James, albeit slightly muffled, over the PA system. "I repeat, all new members, please meet Samantha in the Bullpen." ~~Serra~~ Having her headphones in and slightly asleep, Serra doesn't hear the announcement. However, Samantha sees Serra, and after not recognizing her, she understands that Serra is one of the new kids. She goes over to Serra's desk, and sits on it quietly, waiting for her to wake up, and the rest of the group to come to the bullpen.

Lynsal makes his way inside the cabin and sits in a corner. "You guys deal with this. I'm going to drink." He opens his one remaining bottle of alcohol and starts drinking.

"I'm fine with this one, why don't you bring the weird man along with us? Let's head inside guys." Elias puts the rocket girl over his shoulder again in a fireman's carry and makes his way inside the building. Upon entering, he sees James at the desk, talking with Emilia. Walking all the way up to them, he grins at James again and says, "Thanks for arranging the ride, James." in as sarcastic a tone as possible before adding, "Here, I got you a thank you gift for your effort." He then proceeds to dump the rocket girl directly on top of James' desk. He crosses over to James' side, gives him a big hug before he smiles at Emilia, who then proceeds to walk into the stairway near the elevators.

Lynsal takes the half empty bottle of alcohol from Kaeso and drinks it while he helps with the cleaning up of the crew and the blood. "How many are dead? How many are hurt? Who betrayed us?" He asks the rest of his comrades. He starts looking for the captains quarters, while keeping an eye out for trouble. (Perception roll 19)

"I'm one o'ye seniors at the agency. I've been a detective since the last 23 years or so. If yer lucky, you'll get ta work with me. If not, well, I don't really care then, do I." He pulled the reigns on the Ponyta and the carriage started moving ahead at an astonishing speed. It seemed that the Ponyta was using Agility to travel even faster than cars on the roads. Auley was silent for a large part of the journey, concentrating on guiding the speeding carriage and pokemon. Elias was tying the arms of the rocket girl so that when she woke up, she wouldn't create an issue. "Anybody care to help me? I'm not good with tying people up. We should have taken handcuffs for this."

"Hahaha, dumb guy. Knocked out our friend. Hahaha." Lynsal laughs after seeing Zarrick knock down Yisen. (Initiative 5) Lynsal tries hitting the nearest Kenku and again misses with his quarterstaff, getting really annoyed and shouts in frustration before smashing with his fist and managing to actually hit something (8 damage for attack roll of 18).

((3)) As the attack hits the woman, it also hits the flittering zubat, which ends missing anybody in the room and vanishes out the door. ((1)) The woman, with sand in her eyes moves backward and trips, landing flat on her back, the back of her head hitting a really sharp edge of the wooden chair nearby, causing her to clutch the back of her skull in pain as she rolls around on the floor, unable to do much else.

As Elias finally made his way towards the exit, his teammates got into an argument with the civilians. He lay the girl on the ground got Lizzie out to sit on top of the girl and keep her slightly warm so that she doesn't die from the attack on her. As Adara starts walking towards the forest, he calls out to her. "Hey, are you planning on walking? You realize this isn't a video game right? That you can't just walk all the way to the forest. It's really really far from the city. Just wait for the ride the agency is sending. We'll drop these guys at the office and I'll accompany you onwards to the forest." As the group waits, Horace, having successfully dispelled the group by showing them the team rocket uniform of the criminals ((9)), it takes about 15 minutes, before they see, slightly down the way, a speeding Ponyta driven carriage. As it gets closer to them, the driver shouts at the pokemon, and pulls on the reigns really hard, causing the carriage to swing from the momentum and bump up onto the curb, nearly running over Adara, before it finally stops 2 inches from her face. The red headed driver jumps down from the carriage and pulls out his Xtransceiver, looks at it for a second before scanning the group's faces and then, in an Irish accent says, "Ye lot from the Agency, ain't ye? Well, hop in. I haven't got all day, ye know?" He starts mumbling before he jumps back onto the driver seat waiting for the group. The group sees that the driver is a portly man, in his mid 40's, dressed in blue jeans, a little too tight for him, with a white shirt, and a green, tweed, flat cap, with green suede loafers. Elias, lifts the unconscious girl and starts moving her up onto the carriage. "Ah, lady problems eh, young'in. I know them feels. ALRIGHT HURRY UP YE LOT, I'MA LEAVE YE BEHIND." The driver starts shouting at them for no reason. "THE NAME'S AULEY, AULEY O'CALLAGHAN." After staring at the driver, and then looking at Horace with the expression of "what the fuck" on his face, he places the girl on the carriage and climbs in, helping the others up as well.

After finally managing to clean his eyes of the pepper spray, Elias takes out his ringing Transceiver and speaks with Horace. "Yep, got it. Sorry about that. I got pepper sprayed, and then hit by some ice attack. Just coming, give me 2 minutes." With that, he ran towards the initial alley he was at and managed to see Horace standing near one male rocket grunt, and the unconscious female rocket grunt. Checking to see if she was alive, he picked up her pokeball, pocketed it and proceeded to fireman's lift her to take her with them. He noticed she was cold, almost freezing and then saw the Horsea with Horace and understood what happened. "Damnit Horace. You just attacked me with that attack as well. Forget it. Let's go, I can see Serra running towards the entrance." He waited for Horace and the other grunt.

Horace aims the Aurora Beam straight at the woman moving towards him with her pokeball held out. Magnum, being a little over-excited about the idea of shooting an aurora beam, let's out a continuous beam of aurora lights, directly at the woman and extending beyond her. The beam hits her hard, making her visibly shiver and causing a sudden onset of hypothermia, which leads to an almost deathly blue like look to her otherwise pale skin. Behind her, the beam ends up hitting a very familiar man, as Elias, still rubbing his eyes, is walking past the alleyway. Lizzie manages to avoid most of the attack, being walking on the other side of Elias. Elias himself, rather confused now at being attacked, quickly runs forward, unsure of where Horace is, and confused about the direction of the attack. Mistaken about being attacked from behind, he runs straight ahead, away from where Horace was fighting the rocket grunt. After running blindly for a few seconds, and stumbling into a whole bunch of angrypeople, Elias manages to find an empty or safe alleyway, finally cleaning out his eyes using moisture from the aurora beam. (7 success: finally) Cleffy floats ahead of Serra, trying its best to keep quiet, hiding from view of few of the people who were nearby. The woman doesn't seem to notice the Klefki and it manages to use Fairy Lock to cage-in Serra, Horace, and the two grunts in the area, as a series of magical chains appear from swirls of pink energy and create a locked-in enclosure. After using Fairy Lock, Cleffy starts attacking the hypothermic woman, emitting a harsh sound of metal on metal screeching at her, and the woman, before even managing to do much else except remove her pokeball, gets knocked out. (6 partial success for hide and metal sound) Oak smiles back at the young girl, then says, "Well little lady, if you do need my expertise on pokemon, you can always look into the pokedex on your transceiver. All my knowledge is available free to those who have a pokedex. As for my stories for when you aren't working, let's just say, knowing your boss, if you aren't working, you are probably dead." With that, Oak turns back towards Daniel. Emilia instantly responds to Jeanne, "All Team Rocket bases were seized and emptied out promptly after their disbanding. I could find the list of old bases, but those properties were auctioned off and are now commercial properties. At least any that were in Johto were. I'm not so sure about the Kanto ones, but it is likely that the same was done with them." (3 for trying to flirt with/charm Oak.)

Lynsal steps out when he hears the blasting nearby. "What is happening guys? Who blew open the door? Oh well, let's go." Lynsal walks into the room that had it's door blasted open. He takes a look around to see what he notices. (rolled an 8 on perception) The only thing Lynsal notices is the dust in the air from the blast and the fragments of wood on the ground from the door. "Hey look guys, pieces of wood on the floor. I wonder where they came from?" Lynsal picks one up and walks towards the rest to show the piece.

Elias tries to wipe his eyes again, hoping that he would be able to see a little better. Elias picks up his Xtransceiver and tries calling Serra or somebody in the office. "Hey, I've been hit by mace, and Horace is chasing after the perp. There is another woman from Team Rocket here. She is looking for her friend, a guy. So I'm assuming that the perp must be the guy. Go find Horace and help him. I'll get there as soon as I can." (13, followed by 2, so super screwed.)

Elias wipes his face with from the burning pepper spray with little to no success. His eyes are watering and red from the pepper spray and he now picks up his ringing Xtransceiver to check the calls on them. "Hey, I had run into a girl from Team Rocket and tried following her but ended up getting pepper sprayed. She said she was looking for her friend Alan. I think it could be the guy you took down. She will be heading in your direction, so be careful. I'm coming with Lizzie towards you, in case you need help battling her. I'll try coming near you as soon as I can." With that, Elias takes out his pokeball and sends the charmander out. "Lizzie, I need you to try and guide me towards Horace. If some suspicious people get near us, cover us in a smokescreen." He rubs his eyes with the sleeve of his jacket. He can barely make out shapes in front of him, and he starts moving towards the cacophonous area where the battle had finished.

Elias runs up to the girl and starts saying, "Well miss uh?" he waits for her name before starting off again, "If you don't mind, I'll help you to make up for knocking into you. I'm a little new to the city anyway and don't really know many people here. It would be good for me to make up for my mistake, and I guess you wouldn't mind the help. What does your friend look like? Is she as pretty as you?"

Lynsal, noticing the room to be a sort of sleeping area for the crew, starts searching in the room for a trap door or some hidden compartment or something of the sorts. (Perception check 23) "Anybody want to help me look in this room for a trapdoor or something of the sorts?"

I can't believe I wasted so much time with that idiot. Racial profiling and white privilege my ass. Elias ran straight into an attractive woman, dressed in what he recognized was Team Rocket's uniform. Picking himself off the ground quickly, he gave her his hand to help her up. "I'm so sorry miss. I do apologize for running into you. I ended up loosing my friend in the crowd and was trying to find her. I got distracted by that useless, so called pokeball vendor and ended up running into you. Are you fine miss?" He helps her to her feet. "I'm Elias, and again, I do apologize for the mishap." He dusts himself off, and runs his hands through his hair, trying to make sure he looks fine. His Xtransceiver buzzes, but he puts it on silent, ignoring the alert. Emilia looks at Adara and says, "I guess that is a good idea. You definitely aren't being paid to sit around here. Since we believe team rocket remnants or someone of that inclination is involved, I recommend heading to the underground. Meet up with Serra, Horace and Elias and let them know what you found out. I'll inform the forest group. Tell the group to wind up their investigation soon and give a status report along with any findings to the rest of us." Emilia then pulls out her Xtransceiver and starts typing something into it.

Elias says, "Yeah, her only help was to suggest looking at the gangs outside the city, which we are already checking up on. Let's go and check out the alleyway that your vendor said would have some shady figures, Horace." He pulls out his pokeball in his hand, signalling he is ready to go further ahead in case there is some danger.

Elias walks alongside Horace as they make their way towards Serra talking with a pokeball vendor. Elias notices Serra and the man in a lane near his shop and points that out to Horace. "Let's go there, in that lane. I can see Serra and the vendor there." The vendor starts to smile a little when Serra finally started to show what seemed to be interest in purchasing his wares, and he slowly and carefully says the following words; to prevent any misunderstanding, "2500 Dollars for one Secretball, and no, you can't negotiate for a lower price.... as these balls cost a small fortune to make you see, and the materials used to make them are so rare, that I am not sure if there will ever be another batch of them."
