Fumble Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 So I started a new save file, and supposedly, I should pick a starter, but it seems I can't pick anyone from the room. Also, what's the chance of getting a Pokemon out of 15 starters in the machine? There's a link for the Starter room fix at the bottom of the OP. Also, all 18 starters have an equal chance of appearing, with two (soon to be three) extras, which have a much lower chance.

Pick the special blue item, and pay/steal. If you steal or have insufficient funds, then pray you get to the ladder before the angry shopkeepers get you.

But if you just wanted to go for HM slaves, the obvious Bibarel comes to mind. For more obvious reasons, that mon can't surf on magma, though. (Rusty wouldn't've gotten that...)
