  1. Hmm. None of those are unfamiliar to me and with the exception of the Full Restore, I could swear I got all of them. Either all of them IS required or I have a glitch.
  2. I haven't been using the guide for the entire game (I primarily use guides for the gym leaders) but I thought that this was the first of her points that I'd missed. If the Full Restore isn't required I suppose I'm wrong and am missing at least one other besides it but I have no idea what one(s). It's not too much of a bummer since I don't currently have the Bulbasaur line or the Mega Ring but presumably both are available at some point.
  3. Hello again Yumil. I appreciate all the help I've received from you recently. I hope it hasn't been too much of a chore. I have both another question and a bit of feedback for the guide. I'll start with the feedback. In the Cellia Battle Tournament the guide has Scarlett's Musharna listed with the following moveset: Moonlight, Psychic, Synthesis, Giga Drain When I battled her, Musharna had Dazzling Gleam. I'm not sure what of the listed moves it replaces because the only other move she used against me was Moonlight but that should be updated. As for the question: I've recently finished the North Cellia event and have explored the map and something in your guide is not matching my experience. You said: "talk to Ava in C2 for relationship points, and while you’re at it, receive a Venusaurite." Talking to Ava was legit the first thing I did when I entered North Celia but she neither gave me a Venusaurite or a relationship point. "I'm worried about you", the dialogue shown in your screencap was also NOT part of the dialogue I got from her. She just talked about how she wants to help the citizens of Cellia North and how although she should go home and tend to her own people Cellia needs her more. (Side note: I love her. She's the most selfless character in the game aside from the player and pretty much the only one I have consistently trusted thus far.) This isn't because I failed to give her the Full Restore during the North Cellia battle is it? I hadn't read about that until it was too late (I had just reached the lab with Aaron) and regardless didn't have one to give. I had to use the one in the Dreamscape.
  4. Interesting. I thought I read that in an old post but it seemed as though the poster had mixed up the tournament with Garret's side quest in which Hardy is the boss battle.
  5. This is partially correct. 1. You need to read the full diary in the Cellia Library Archives including entry #5 which is in a locked room. This is only assessible if you do the police quest given to you by Rosetta then talking to her before meeting up with Gerrett to enter the archives. Choose to tell her that you want to get into the archives and while wary, she'll give you the Archive Key (completing the police quest will establish your trustworthiness to her). The Archive Key will open the locked room containing entry #5. You get a hot I believe it was 10 or 15 credits for completing the police quest so why wouldn't you? 2. Yes, when prompted to side with a twin, side with Shiv (and save Nova). Thus far those are all the conditions I am aware of. Curtesy of this guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZnX8PFf5YOT46w9Et2pfXZissBQSgQBP/view I'm not certain if who you give the Onix Stone to in Weeping Depths matters but I haven't come across someone thus far who gave it to Nova and nor did I as it's quite well established at that point that while both characters are shady, Nova is lesser trustworthy. I would guess that it does does matter and that giving it to Shiv is the "good ending" choice.
  6. That is a valid point. I concur with this. Shiv has had his questionable exploits (i.e Keegan and he suggestively isn't an entirely legit champion) but he is thus far the clearest victim. His coldness and depression are a product of neglect, absentee parents and a sibling who ignored him despite sharing his roof. It would seem that Nova was the one who taught him compassion. She must have been the first person to care about him and gave him true ambition as I assume such is the source of the happiness she brought him. Even if her actions had the wrong motivation, she still had a positive effect on Shiv and you're right. That is worth something. I must have missed where it was revealed that she has killed people. My house can contain quite a few distractions and I try not to tune out my surroundings entirely as it's unhealthy and can be rude. UPDATE: I chose to help Shiv save Nova and it showed me a side of Nova that greatly satisfied me with this choice. Remember when I worried about Nova's lack of remorse? Aurora also shows how dark she truly can be because she still considers killing Nova Side notes: I really liked the event in Aroura's dimension, it had hardcore Kingdom Hearts vibes and Mega Mightyena is so bitchin'! I almost regret replacing both my own Mightyena and starter Pyroar back in Celeste for a Houndoom. ALMOST. That Houndoom has been an amazing asset.
  7. Alright, I'm now being forced to choose between the twins to either forgive or condemn Nova. I'm leaning towards siding with Aurora for two reasons: 1. Her diaries if one obtains the Archive Key so is able to read the hidden entry reveal Nova to be manipulative and dishonest on top of her own prior admission that she's essentially a missionary. When she teleported us from the Blackview Port we see that she has a rather naïve definition of 'reality' and she heavily insinuates that she intends to be a higher scale Kuiki, to build a world in which humanity is brainwashed or hypnotized into accepting and embracing her creed. 2. We still know nothing of Nova's backstory and motivations at this point. The latter actually makes this decision quite unbalanced. We're expected to consider saving Nova without being given a single reason to believe it's merited. Including that she hasn't shown an ounce of revelation/remorse until the moment her life was threatened. The same could be argued of the decision of who to give the stone to. In that instance we learn some of Shiv's backstory but again Nova is nothing but a lot of baseless claims. Perhaps the writer intended it to be a point; eloquence vs. Leap of faith which is quite brilliant. A part of me wants to give Nova the benefit of the doubt and see her naivety and need for a so called 'better world' as a biproduct of misguidance and/or trauma but I'm not sure I can get past her lack of revelation or remorse. It's difficult to know who can be trusted in this game. Up to this point the only two characters I haven't scrutinized are Ava and Connor but pre-clouds Scarlett was on that list as well. It's kind of awesome. Here is what I'd appreciate some input on: 1. Is there a better or right decision? 2. What are the different outcomes?
  8. Well crap. Good to know for the future though. I don't have the manor yet but I think I'm about to get it. I'm there now about to battle Nova.
  9. Recently I claimed my egg from Boss. I went with Azumarril because Water and Fairy are both types I have a shortage of and having them both in one Pokemon is ideal. Anyway, I got Azurill to Level 23-ish on Piggy back then started to battle it for experience and friendship on route 2. I've always been impatient with friendship evolution, I wish it would go away and as I only have access to the Sooth Bell in this game (there's no massage person no stylist and the berry shop is closed) it was a bit slow going. So I decided to use Debug mode to track it's friendship level. CHECK ONLY NOT CHANGE! I battled some while in Debug mode, stepped into the Pokemon center in need of a heal and when I came back out it was raining. Not long after Azurill evolved (at friendship level 221 last I'd checked, but whatever). Satisfied, I switched back into regular mode and used the Audino trainer in Cellia to evolve it the final time and level it up the rest of the way. However, now not only do I seem to be locked into rain but it rains indoors as well. https://i.imgur.com/K0D5GkA.png The game is working fine otherwise but I'm worried about the illegal advantage and disadvantages this will potentially give both me and my opponents. I probably shouldn't have engaged in battles in Debug mode, I'd never done that before. The reason I had gotten it was because of how long it takes to reach the first PC in the game and I like to Nature and IV hunt. Anyway how do I fix this? UPDATE: I tried deleting the game and unzipping it again. Damn rain still won't go away. UPDATE 2: Alright. Fixed it. I went back into Debug mode and recreated what I did to cause the issue. I went to route 2, battled a wild Pokemon then entered the Pokemon Center and the rain disappeared. Sorry for the wasted thread. Happy Holidays.
  10. Tristen has thus far been the most difficult gym leader for me as well. Pyroar specifically would one-shot my entire team with Flamethrower and/or Hyper Voice. I ended up having to use 3 Pokemon to take the damn thing down. Phase 1: Take out Sawsbuck with my own Pyroar then stay in and use Noble Roar on his Pyroar. This allowed my Nidoking to survive one Flamethrower. Phase 2: My Pyroar goes down on the second turn and I swap into Nidoking and use Earth Power. Which for some reason the damn thing survived with ONE FUCKING HP. Even with a special attack nature it couldn't one shot the fucker! Phase 3: Swap out into Houndoom to heal Nidoking and do as much damage as possible while Tristan Hyper Potion-ed at least twice. Phase 4: Houndoom eventually goes down and Nidoking finished Pyroar with another Earth Power. In retrospect, I might have made that a lot harder on myself than it needed to be. Camerupt might have been better than both Pyroar and Nidoking (though Camerupt would have replaced Pyroar as I still needed Nidoking for Wigglytuff). Poliwrath (which is actually still a Poliwhirl but I would have evolved if had I used it, I have a water stone) might have worked as well, I had considered using Rain Dance on Pyroar but figured it would just switch to Hyper Voice which also wiped me out. The AI is Reborn intelligent in this game. I swear sometimes it even seems to predict what I'm switching into. Though he made the strange decision in most attempts to use Close Combat rather than U-Turn with Staraptor on my Manantric which Manantric was able to survive in the yellow and the Special Defense drop allowed me to one shot it with Discharge. Revenge Toxicroak was my answer for Mega Lopunny.
  11. Just a few minutes ago whilst searching for something else on Google, I came across an old post regarding a house in Blackview City with a Yellow Triangle over the door. I've interacted with this house before and it was locked with the message: "Locked. Perhaps the resident is away". I didn't give it much thought until I read that apparently a Move Tutor is supposed to be there. I thought I did literally everything before proceeding to Cellia City. I finished the plot event with Scarlett, I entered and won the Cellia finals spot in the battle tournament, accessed and fought in the underground fight club and did all the side quests ranger guild and otherwise. I haven't battled Boss yet for the egg prize because I want to level up a bit first. Their level 65 Pokemon bodied me individually with the level 50 cap, I can't take them all on in a single battle right now. But that's it. I've just come back to Blackview to complete the shop quest and while I was at it did Serenity's second quest. Regardless, that yellow triangle door is still locked. So what did I miss to get access to the Move Tutor?
  12. That's not surprising. Reborn's soundtrack is basically made up of remixes including Viridian City and even Kingdom Hearts but if no others were named than it sounds as though the claim is just targeting the one. Therefore it should be acceptable to just replace the offending track but do whatever you're most comfortable doing.
  13. That adds up because Pokesnax don't function. Rouge Pokemon (i.e the Swablu in Addenfall Woods) DO NOT respond to them. I've tried it and have 28 of the damn things from Pickup but 0 Poke Candies. Thanx for the confirmation that they're only good for selling. I'd managed to remain under the caps until level 45 so it took me until then to realize they existed in this game since no one explains the concept like the Snubble/Stuffel lady in Reborn.
  14. Fantastic, thank you for your help and I was glad to be of help to you in turn. After looking at the gif I was right, the problem was that I was just walking around the formation not pressing up against it and tracing its exact shape. New question: Is it mandatory or at least worthwhile to invest in the Jinx lab?
  15. A. Yes. B. I'm unsure. I'm not clear on what defines "straying from the formation". However if I'm suppose to be pressed right up against it and sort of trace the formation than I suppose the answer is yes. C. No D. Yes. I'm afraid I've moved forward to Addenfall Town and am not interested in going the distance to attempt it again but you're welcomed to my file for your gif. I took you back as far as the Silver Rise beamer. I hope the rest of the way isn't too bothersome for you. I have a couple of Max Repels feel free to use them. Game.rxdata
  16. I just checked, neither of those venders sell Pokesnax. The woman only sells 2 items, Jar of Paint (the paint that turns Pokemon shiny) and Reverse Candy (are these even useful in this game, I haven't noticed a level cap). The Mart sells Poke Candy but not Pokesnax.
  17. I'm having trouble with the puzzle in Weeping Depths to obtain the Red Piece. The following guide: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZnX8PFf5YOT46w9Et2pfXZissBQSgQBP/view instructs to read the text on the wall and then circle the wall counter-clockwise to open a hidden room and that the Old Doll from the 'Explore the Depths' ranger quest is required. I have the doll and have circled the wall at least half a dozen times and nothing is happening. What am I missing or is this puzzle glitched? To be honest, I don't even know what these pieces do, I'm just assuming that collecting them is at least worth it if not mandatory.
  18. I'm afraid I haven't found an exact location but Pokesnax can be attained from Pokemon with the Pickup ability.
  19. To expand on the above the exact path that RGSS save files are held in is: This PC > Windows > Users > White > Saved Games > Pokemon Reborn If you only backed up the game and not this folder than I'm afraid your save file is gone. I don't know the Mac equivalent as I've never played an RGSS game on the one I used to use. The good news is that you might not have to start a new file. You can also inquire in troubleshooting for someone willing to share a save file that's at the needed point. I've never required this but I've seen such requests.
  20. Originally, from the Tourmaline Desert and then bred a speed favoring shiny because I needed it for Titania as well.
  21. Much appreciation to you for this clear and thorough guide. I'd been stuck in Celeste City after I'd done some grinding and then found out that I couldn't challenge the gym (because it's locked). I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do and Aderyn isn't visible without taking a couple of steps south from the gym's door. Therefore, I'd been to the gym multiple times but had no idea she was there and when I read the instruction in this guide to talk to her outside the gym I almost thought I had a glitch. Anyway, this guide prompted me to look around the gym's vicinity and that's how I found her. So thanx.
  22. Soloaris (Agate) was one of the toughest ones for me as well. I also ended Garchomp with a Blizzard from my Alolan Ninetails with a bit of help from an Outrage from Flygon. Alolan Ninetails and Flygon were my MVPs for that entire battle. The optional Garchomp battle I was not prepared for, it's my biggest regret in the game so far.
