Alright so I recently had to reset my laptop, but my progress for reborn did not carry on with it, as I didn't research where the data was stored properly, despite being rightfully pissed that all my hours are gone and being annoyed at myself for overlooking this, I want to replay the game to finally finish it, And Since I really struggled the first time I want to have some assistance in this run, I know WHAT ev training is but I'm not sure how it works. fighting certain pokemon give certain EV's but how should one go about this? Do I have to perfectly construct my team by only making them fight the specific ones that raise that stat? Is there a specific level I should start ev tranining at? I'm completely clueless to how this works, any advice is appreciated thanks

So since I have been playing my game on my school laptop, I recently graduated and so we had to reset our laptops to remove all the school admin stuff, And I made sure I backed everything up. Everything that was on that laptop was backed up onto a USB multiple times, yet I've just recently decided to start playing again, and everything is gone? The game itself is fine, but my save is gone. Is there any possible way to get my save back?, I've loved playing the game But I really don't fancy playing through half of the game again Just to get back to the point I'm at. Any advice? Is all my data gone forever? (I'm guessing so) Most importantly though, would there be any way to easily get back to the point I was at?, Or Am I forced to play through the entire game again just to reach this point?, Because I'm really not too keen on doing that. I love the game but it's been real difficult and quite time consuming, I really don't wanna do it all again. My very first time I played I ended up quitting because I was stuck on the ice gym. That was a few year ago and I've loved returning to the game to finish what I started, but after not getting all too much further and everything being fresh in my mind, re doing it is not on my to-do list. Apologies if I'm not doing this right, this is my first forum post I'm up to charlotte as of now and I'm really stumped on what to do, nothing works, her tyhplosion instantly kills everything but Avalugg due to sturdy, and seadra due to water typing, Nothing I have can outspeed her And I'm continously being sweeped, I didn't plan ahead so there's no going back to reborn now And I'm stuck until I get past this My team right now usSeadra lv.70 no held item sniper careful -surf- dragon pulse- dragon dance- Hydro pump Avalugg lv.70 Lax incense Sturdy docile- Avalanche- blizzard- recover- skull bash Decidueye lv.70 Spooky plate Long reach Lonely- Synthesis- Leaf blade- spirit shackle- Nature power Hawlucha Lv.70 pure incense Unburden Brave- feather dance- flying press- swords dance- Sky drop Houndoom Lv.70 No item flash fire hasty -thunder fang -foul play -inferno -nasty plot Toxicroak Black belt poison touch Hardy- sludge bomb- mud bomb- sucker punch- drain punch None of them are EV trained because I didn't think I would need to up until now, And I didn't know how to A lot of people are saying to just get a lycanrock but would there be an easier alternative than having to level that all the way up?
