  1. Thank you for providing this. I never regret my choices because I research them thoroughly (Here I went with 'Do nothing') but I still get super curious what the others entail. Here is the theory I've crafted: Maria/Marionette was sacrificed much, in the same ritual, Vivian sacrificed herself, and thus as it did with Vivian, it produced a reincarnation line with Melia as the current incarnation. In the post-apocalyptic timeline, Melanie is pretty clearly a or perhaps the version of Melia who was never placed in Jenner's care so was raised with coldness and greed presumably by Indriad rather than with love, compassion, and individuality similar to how Kenneth never became Keta. We've never met Indriad in our present timeline...or well at least a present version of him but what became of him hasn't been established and if he's dead in our timeline he doesn't have to be in this one, clearly a lot changed. I find it interesting how Melanie seemed to be aware of who Melia was and what physical contact with her meant. Furthermore that while she either lured or tried to lure Melia into the merge in 'Hand it Over' and 'Try to Escape', she feared and avoided it in 'Do Nothing' indicating that she knew whether or not she'd come out dominant. How was she more astute than Melia who knew nothing until receiving Madam X's vague warning? Someone in the comments points out some smart irony in 'Hand it Over'. At one point Madam X told Valarie: "There's always a bigger fish waiting to take everything from you." to which Valarie responds by figuratively spitting in her face with the rebuttal question of who that would be. Then at the coronation Madam X's helmet is sitting next to the throne implying that Melanie over powered her. On the subject of the 'Hand it Over' scenario, I was confused as to how Amber was able to sense the wrongness of the outcome and retain at least an inkling of the PC's existence after we're erased. This seems to reveal that Amber is important and might possess a special ability like Melia and the PC but how? FYI: For those in a position that doesn't allow them to watch the video, this old thread contains brief written summaries of each outcome:
  2. From what I've gathered the Kyogre battle trigger is glitched in the Crawli Gym entry route (the route in which you give the magma stone to Cera). You needed to do some form of exit and re-entry process after obtaining Magma Drift to trigger it. I can't remember exactly what I read and it's not the route I went. Unfortunately though, as mentioned already there is only the one chance to do it (during the Valor Mountain plot) so you're out of luck but since you apparently were still able to obtain the Railnet Key, you didn't miss out on anything except relationship points.
  3. No? Well what I described above has been my experience. More like likelihood. I reserve Debug for the least corner cutting functions...for the most part; a warp or two for tedious journeys, perhaps a gender change, PC access when one in-game isn't available nearby and monitoring friendship level for friendship evolution. Monitoring only NOT changing as tempting as it is because I despise friendship evolution. In Rejuv my worst offense thus far was putting Earthquake on my Gliscor which I might undo because I feel guilty. It's just so annoying that it doesn't learn a single ground move naturally even as egg moves when it's a ground type. So far I've only used it (the move Earthquake on Gliscor) once, in the Xen double battle for the Baddies in the Badlands help quest and am taking a bit of a break after finishing Sashilla Village. I love the Nidoking I've had on my team since the beginning (evolved from the static Nidoran in Oceana Pier), it's really had my back and part me me misses it but Earth Power is not the greatest move on it because it's a physical attacker.
  4. Personally I say Crawli should be re-christened 'the King of Ass Kicking'. I have 12 badges and he has remained my hardest gym leader battle thus far.
  5. It exists. Though I don't agree with using Debug to generate an entire Pokemon from scratch, it's your game. The file is attached below. Swap this file with the file in the Data folder called Scripts.rxdata. RENAME THE ORIGNAL Scripts.rxdata DO NOT DELETE IT! WARNING: DO NOT BATTLE IN DEBUG MODE! 1. An error window will pop up at the end of each turn which won't crash the game but is obnoxious. 2. In a trainer battle in which more than one Pokemon is used, a KO on either side soft locks the game because the switch in transition doesn't occur. The battle will continue with one side empty. ScriptsDebug.rxdata
  6. This. My Ominous Wind Xatu wrecked her. The Haunted Field heavily exposes her because it removes her Ghost immunity. Therefore field boosted Ghost moves can hit her Super Effectively.
  7. I didn't find Keta hard. I wrecked him with Solrock and Monferno. Xatu is especially good here because it gets Air Slash which is field boosted. I had one on me as well. Granted it probably also helped that he missed Gale Strike all 3 or so times he went for it. In regards to Lucario, Psychic is neutral on it because of it's Steel typing. A field boosted Air Slash or a fire move is best there.
  8. I have to disagree, the guide could have further clarified this, especially if multiple people have had trouble following it but once you pointed that out, I spotted it immediately. Thank you @Knight.
  9. It sounds like you missed the old woman in one of the Kristiline houses who will say something about it being unusual that you're engaging. It's been a while since I was at that point in the game so she and the one in Kakori Village are the only ones I remember.
  10. I see. For me it was an accident. I think I was doing the glasses quest and that labyrinth is kind of a bitch but meh, I don't like Titania that much so I don't mind having so few points with her. I think it's almost impossible not to lose points with her every time you encounter her, it's the same thing in the diary scene. She again doesn't believe you if you tell her that you didn't read the diary even if you actually didn't (I read the diary and admitted so).
  11. So I'm with Aleita on Route 9 but exploring before I join her. I'm in the cavern that has the section with the Zygarde cell and the crystal (that won't respond whatever that means). The Pokemon Rejuvenation V12 guide (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Dk0g5bVs0B4JNuSR-f4AAFIeWQozHosKFS-wPao9bc/edit) gives the following instructions: It indeed would be nice to have that AC and TM but I have no left and no hiker, just a bunch of dead ends. (Note that the entrance, or is it an exit at the bottom of the first image leads to the location in the second). I've also circled the rest of the route multiple times. I'm confused. How do I get the AC and the TM?
  12. Good to know. I couldn't remember that for sure and recently completed the current content of Desolation in which there is at least a clear good and bad route as well as a few in between. That's the confirmation I was looking for, thanx. So it sounds like I've missed a detail or two but your other comments have pretty much made me feel satisfied with my initial thoughts. You've been helpful, thank you.
  13. Heyo. Today, I've gotten back into Rejuvenation after a bit of a hiatus and while I've watched through some Youtube playthroughs to refresh my memory of the plot I am now needing a bit of assistance. I'm in Cassandra's office being given the option to "Tell Cassandra Everything" and "Tell Cassandra Nothing". Our venture with Erin and the Grass gym siblings has been brought up so am I right to assume that this is giving me a second chance to rat out Flora because I didn't the first time? Would we also be telling her about our recent findings within the city regarding Talon's condition and the bizarre happening at the theater? I'm leaning towards not telling her because: 1. We don't know much about Cassandra but something about her isn't sitting right with me. Just from talking to a few citizens and this first meeting with her she comes off as a bit of a snob, more invested in aesthetics than the people (i.e constructing buildings that don't function and not wanting to renovate the badlands to give travelers on foot easier access to the city) and there are some significantly mixed opinions of her. 2. I get the feeling that Flora is important, that she is some form of hidden ally. I saw her dialogue if you get her arrested at the end of the Bladestar base event via Dai Laughing and it seems to imply that it's a wrong/bad choice in the long run. Dai Laughing himself noticed it as well soon after and regretted going that route. I'm feeling that either Bladestar isn't evil or Flora's involvement with them is as a double agent. Probably the latter. I just need some confirmation that I am understanding the choice correctly and tips wouldn't hurt.
  14. The only encounter I remember having in Aventurine Woods is some chick who gets mad at you for spying on her (even if you say that you didn't see anything, which you really don't, she calls you a liar). That wasn't Titania was it?
  15. @Yumil Your arguments while quite astute but seem to look at some of the facts with a bit too much face value. @Progfan_r covered my rebuttals, quite thoroughly, however, so there is little for me to add. This is debatable. All insight into Tristen's solitude was provided by his grandfather according to whose observation Tristen appeared to be happy alone but depression is often a silent suffrage. Therefor you could be right here, but it was only the grandfather who was established to have found solitude "soul-crushing" and maddening. I also wouldn't call Tristen "a regular guy people like" in Odis as once again he feels out of place. For someone who is helping "wake people up", the twins don't acknowledge him as an ally nor does anyone else acknowledge him (or the twins actually). His appearance in the Dreamscape is much as abrupt as his disappearance in Blackview. There are only two people he interacts with other than the PC and both are seemingly unusually lucid of Odis; Booker and that Crescent member Ruby (that was her name right?) who we battle in the East area. Did he talk to Anna in the Town Hall with us? I'd have to go back through HeroVoltsy's playthrough to double check that. This, I'll grant has some validity. It's possible Darkari wouldn't have known about the liability, it's equally as possible that it could have. Alright, it's not too likely that he's Darkari or an avatar of Darkari but I still don't think he's a normal person who just fell into the Odis trap. I disagree here. When we first meet up with her outside Addenfall and we mention Tristen her response verbatim is: "Tristen? Can't say that I've heard of him." (Connor says something similar when we mention Tristen in Blackview). This is correct. All the text tells us is that Connor observes Ordinary Badges littering the tables and floors of the house but while this does reveal how Hardy obtained up a free badge, it doesn't establish whether or not ours was 'replaced'. All that is established is that whatever Tristen gave us, despite unlocking a cap, wasn't an actual Ordinary Badge. It's plausible that Connor and Ava grabbed us a badge after we pass out but without text confirmation it's unlikely.
  16. I wasn't aware of this detail but it would make sense for this Tristen to be a replica of a real person. Excellent observation. I hadn't noticed that Tristen's appearances and disappearances lined up with which world the Onix Stone was in. That's what I'd thought, that when we re-visit Tristen's abandoned house with Connor and Ava they must have grabbed the badge for us since we pass out.
  17. "Search for the cracks" This is something we are told to do multiple times as the major theme of the plot. I've completed episode 5 and thus far, Tristen has come across as one of the most prominent cracks in the game. He introduces himself as the Normal-type gym leader and presents as a compassionate and helpful person but for a gym leader his existence in Ayrith is nothing more than an abandoned house and a couple of diaries whose author hasn't had an actual presence thus far. Shiv appears to you as you leave that house after triggering the gym battle with Tristen and says: "Something is wrong around you" and "something is amiss". He also mentions a dark aura. Shiv isn't the most trustworthy but there still had to be something to that. That "something amiss" had to be Tristen and that house. Tristen has no relationship with the other Ayrith gym leaders. Ava and Connor who are among them establish never having heard of him and can't see the badge he awards us. When Ava tells us that he died I expect she was just putting together the information from the diaries (a boy named Tristen lived there who became the Normal-type gym leader) with common knowledge. He himself admits that no one remembers him but how can a gym leader just be forgotten even if he was a loner who didn't build personal relationships. This is a minor detail but it also occurred to me that his pyroar's nickname, Simba seems like a 4th wall breech. I don't expect that The Lion King exists in the Pokemon universe. I'm 98% convinced that Tristen is not a real person but an artificial conduit of Odis, perhaps even Darkari itself in a human shape. Darkari might be unable to use Transform but perhaps it can use dream projection to alter our perception of it. A glamor of sorts. It's established that this Darkari is an anomaly because it's malicious in nature therefore perhaps it has unheard of capabilities such as how deeply it has deceived the twins. Consider the following: - We are the only person in Ayrith Tristen appears to and shows interest in, we who Darkrai is targeting with its influence. - One of our most major blackouts which was presumably a semi-transcendence into Odis occurred after the visit to his supposed grandfather's abandoned house where that major crack was revealed. - Tristen declares that he is devoted to Odis and If you tell him about the visions of the twins as villains which is some of the insight we need to be able to resist Darkari, he deems Booker a threat. At the conclusion of episode 5, it appears Booker might have known what he was doing with that quest. I'm interested in learning more about him. The whole loner persona is quite convenient for Darkari to plant itself and other small details around Ayrith that appear to be cracks in it's existence. Other details being: - Tristen's abandoned house and the dairies. - The tombstones baring Ava's and Emily's names in Weeping Hills. - The biographies of Ava and Connor in the archives with the contents removed. - Possibly, somehow, the kidnapping of Garret's sister. "You should be honored" (because his family is taking part in Darkari's lure of us and therefore its ultimate plot?). The shadow of her that appears in the archives made me wonder if she's a prisoner in Odis though we didn't seem to have met her. Both the Archives and Weeping Hills seem to parallel the cave in Odis, the apparent anomaly of the Dreamscape that the prisoners are conditioned to avoid. As we were able to see shadows in that cave of people we know in Ayrith (ie: Emily and Hardy), I believe that cave is a hole in the Dreamscape causing it to bleed together with Ayrith. I'm wondering if Weeping Hills and the Archives are similar, weak spots in Odis that Ayrith can see into as both locations also contain shadows. Sure there are still holes that I can't fill in such as how Ayrith has gone 5-years thus far without a Normal-type gym leader and the nature of the Ordinary Badge we might or might not posses. However, ultimately, Tristen is the most out of place element in the entire game which makes those details rather trivial. He's one of the major red flags that made me suspicious of Odis (the others were that cave and it being a world in which the twins are borderline saints). I always believed in Ayrith. This game has been so dope and I am looking forward to the next update!
  18. The curiosities in the Dreamscape and either saving or condemning Nova in Cellia are the factors that decide the outcome of episode 5 and from what I've gathered although the game is unfinished still, it is the final ending of at least a couple of the possible paths. It's like the Goosebumps 'Choose You Own Ending' series (I loved those as a kid).
  19. If memory serves, I believe it's one of the tutors in the Mosswater Market in post-restoration. Or perhaps it's an Agate Circus tutor.
  20. Giving it the Soothe Bell and accumulating steps with it at the front of your party increase friendship but Pokesnax and Ice Cream are probably the fastest methods sans the salons and EV berries. Blue Moon Ice Cream is best. They're extremely rare, I've completed the game thus far and have never found one but just one Blue Moon Ice Cream maxes friendship.
  21. I've completed the game thus far on the Reshiram route and although it's been some time, I'm quite certain no such event occurred. Nor have I met a character called Europe. Is this perhaps an event exclusive to Zekrom? Regardless this is very commendable work.
  22. Please excuse the double post but I have what I am certain must be a glitch (separate from the issue I am discussing in Yumil's guide thread). When I went to train up some mons for Aaron, the person blocking my basement because "Gerret is busy right now" stopped offering me escort to the cavern. He just says the Garret is busy line and the interaction ends. Fortunately, I invested in the daycare teleporter so I still have access to the cavern via the daycare but regardless this does not seem normal. EDIT: Perhaps it is normal after all. I've progressed to where Garett is waiting to battle me and now the dude tells me: "Sorry Garret is busy right now but you should know that, right, you're supposed to be battling him aren't you?" It's still strange that it cuts you off from a feature meant purely for training but this is kind of telling. I have a new dilemma now. My Eevee is trying to evolve into Sylveon despite NOT possessing a Fairy type move. I love Sylveon and I do want one but I'm trying to evolve this particular Eevee into Espeon. This happens regardless of the time of day as it's night right now and I'd forgotten that detail at first (it's been a while since I last evolved an Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon and hence I changed my clock to try again), so if I were going for Umbreon, same issue. What gives?
