Sweet. This all looks awesome.

I was just talking about the game itself. Ah. I'll admit I never use online features, so had just thought there was.

I don't think one exists. You can turn it on, but it requires being able to edit the scripts of the game. Also, turning on debug mode that way currently causes an issue where if you soft reset the game it will corrupt your data file and you have to unpack it again. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you specifically want to set up specific runs or similar. And even then its probably easier to ask someone to trade you an alternative starter or whatever. The big point of IVs aren't final stats, since outside of an outright competitive environment like Showdown (where you can just set all of this anyway), the only real use for IVs is your Hidden Power typing. Which means that for a physical attacker they're basically irrelevant. And hidden power in Rejuvenation just cares if the value is odd or even, not what it is (this is untrue is Pokemon Reborn which uses the old formula). So long as you aren't just actively using say a physical attacker with 0 Attack and Speed IVs there's pretty much no difference. I tend to aim for somewhere over 15 in every relevant stat for Pokemon I'm not going to use hidden power on. Going higher will technically give you a more powerful Pokemon, but the difference is miniscule. Because of that, the actual play difference between a party of absolutely perfect Pokemon and one you are likely to catch (again, so long as you don't just go with the worst IVs you can find) isn't really significant. My general point is that making IVs always be 31 wouldn't really change much, but would have the downside of making hidden power pretty much completely useless outside of a Pokemon that really wants Hidden Power Fairy. Or the entire Hidden Power mechanic would need to be overhauled.

If you post your save file I can give it a try with your Pokemon and let you know a strategy if I find one. Here's how to find it:

You’re far enough into the game to do the Beldum event. Metagross is great against Adrienn’s team. https://pokemon-reborn.fandom.com/wiki/Beldum_Special_Encounter You can also grab a Drilbur from the Tanzan Mountain entrance available from Tanzan Cover (you need to surf there). on general team thoughts: Serperior really needs different moves. Lead Tornado and Leaf Blade should go. Replaced with either coverage or substitute plus leech seed for stalling. Arcanine should be taught Flare Blitz over Heat Wave. Rain dance on Ampharos is IMO not really good. Especially since you don’t really have anything else to abuse rain than it’s Thunder. Replace with coverage, Power gem and something else maybe.

Espurr Wispy Path- Stuck in Corner
wcv replied to dennims's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Troubleshooting
Place this file where you got that one, overwriting the old file. Game_2.rxdata -
Unfortunately Reaper Cloth isn’t available for four more gyms. It’s on Route 2 and you’ll need Surf to get to it, as it’s just past the cascade.

The first one I can think of is in the Tanzan Depths, near where you are. Its in the entrance right next to the Meteor Base's entrance. Go down the stairs to the area you traveresed to fight the Steelix. Head straight north and you'll find it at one of the dead ends. I can't remember if you need to fight Noel first.

The last update said they were nearly finished with the Night Club, so hopefully the smile means its now done.

I have an extra. I don't care about what you send over in return, I'll be releasing it. Just quote my message with a good time (and your time zone) that you'd like to trade today.

Are you doing a monotype run? Gardevoir wouldn’t help much since psychic is weak to bug. A good counter for her though are either Swift Swimmers like Seaking, Floatzel, and Lumineon to abuse the field right back; or Castform to counter her rain with Sunny Day and get a Rainbow field up. With that in place you can use special attacking Normal moves from Lourded and Castform’s Weather ball to solid effect. With some shard you can also teach your starter one of the pledge moves, which get a bonus on the field. Half her team is also flying or water types as well, so you can use that off of Manetric or Luxray. Some good flying types you can find there’s Fearow (hold off evolving Spearow to 36, then delevel to get drill peck) Pidgeot, and Dodrio (pull the same trick as on Spearow to get Swords Dance I believe.)

Did you delete the trap file?

Has a solid niche of being one of the best mons for catching Pokemon. Since it learns False Swipe and Spore it can both inflict 100% accurate Sleep and reduce the wild Pokemon to 1 HP every time. Definitely terrible for battling trainers, but still has a solid niche that few other Pokemon can fill. For Stantler...hm...it does get two good abilities in Intimidate and Sap Sipper. But yeah, probably not worth using.
-
I believe that was quite useful in the Hardcore mod since it had Hyper Voice. It rapidly ceased being useful but still... I don't know if that's still true since I haven't played the Redux mod. Used it once in a rain run against Ciel due to Swift Swim and Head Smash. I think it got off like two attacks before fainting. Would not recommend. Never used any of the others.

Yeah, I figured it became Corey’s gym. Was just wondering if it was intended to be something else. The only other abandoned gym noted on the map is Labradorra’s (Saphira’s I presume), a city we know from Lumi (or Eve) was supposedly abandoned after Yureyu fell through.
-
By then you have access to a lot more Pokemon, including Unburden Hitmonlee. Which is a better fighting type than any of those, as well as Heracross, for Luna. Primeape is still outclassed. At least Hitmonchan gets decent coverage in the Elemental punches, plus Iron Fist boosted Mach Punch. It also gets agility to boost its terrible speed if you can time one right. IMO Primeape is still worse.
-
I was looking at the old map linked to on the front page, the black and white one, and noticed that north of Beryl Cemetary there’s a spot marked abandoned gym. It looked like it was positioned at Beryl Cave with the entrance of Corey’s gym. Was there any kind of special thing planned there that was dropped? Or was it just a detail dropped for pacing reasons?
-
There should be a Bouffalant directly south of that entrance. Knock out the Tauros it’s fighting to move the log.

Just needs to be nighttime and windy, and you need Pokesnax.

1. Primeape. Okay attack and mediocre speed, plus terrible defenses. And you can get solid choices in Pangoro or Hariyama in the exact same area you can find Primeape. 2. Poliwrath. 3. Emboar. The second or third worst starter depending on what you think of Chikorita. And like Primeape you immediately have two options that are just better, but in this case Emboar is so totally outclassed by Infernape and ESPECIALLY Blaziken it’s actually funny. Terrible bulk paired with bad speed, and a way too high special attack, while it’s clearly a physical attacker. And a bunch of self-damaging moves despite not great health. There’s a reason Tepig can be caught so early in the game. My vote goes to Emboar, since at least Mankey get cross chop by Florinia. On the topic of Shedinja, if you soak it then Adrienn can do literally nothing to it.
-
I actually used it quite a bit during my (non-sand) weather runs. It’s the only good sun or hail setter in the early game a solid backup to Finneon for rain. And Breloom is absolutely not a bad grass or fighting type. It’s great as both. Spore, Technician Mach Punch and Bullet Seed, etc.

Ah. Okay. Yeah, you're a ways from getting another doll too. If you can't trade you can try grabbing the Murkrow from Lapis Ward if you haven't already. It can come with Perish Song and Prankster, which can take just about every deliberately OP mon in the game so long as you can survive the requisite 3 turns.
-
I don't know where you are in the game, but if you have Rock Smash and either Flash or don't mind wandering in the dark from an online map you can grab the ill-fated doll from the Beryl Library and pass through the cave north of Beryl Cemetary to find the totem. One of the possibilities there is a Gollet. It will be level 35. I'm unsure if you can save beforehand and reset for a different outcome but you could try that.
