  1. Unfortunately, I made the stupid mistake of not getting it through breeding and I waited till Lvl. 44 to get it. And then evolved it into Ludicolo Aye, thanks for the advice. I've always found Aya to be considerably tough with a regular team, so you saying it won't be much of a problem is quite interesting to hear... let's see, anyways Oh it rained. I made it rain
  2. Mienshao really gave me so much shit the first time. So did Conkeldurr. So did Hariyama. So did Hawlucha. Dafuq, that guy is super OP. Not that other leaders are complete jokes, but I remember Ciel and Terra being nowhere near as hard as Samson was.
  3. Hahaha, what did I tell you *smiles smugly* In any case, you made Shade look super easy. Not really a great coincidence, but I wrote down the exact same thing in today's post of my grass mono, so it's nice to know someone shares my thoughts
  4. Haha yes, I'm aware. I have thought of a countermeasure, I'll have to wait and see if it works out And thank you!
  5. There's still a lot of battles yet, and it's still pretty powerful! I'm considering getting Swords Dance on Sceptile, but I don't want to lose my shiny T.T Not really a problem. Just bred a Budew with Extrasensory, I have a Jumpluff with Grassy Terrain which solves a huge part of the poison issue, and have Weepinbell and a Gourgeist that neutralize Poison Damage. I think I should be able to handle it, haha
  6. Cool! I've never played the Mystery Dungeon games unfortunately (yes, I'll kms), but a Reborn run will definitely be followed! Name Froakie after me! (Jk, it's ridiculous to call a Froakie "Red") I'm willing to be the Vulpix Call it "Alphagar", I think that's what she means to say.
  7. A very good thing! It was vital for my fight against Corey, as well! Thanks! Next up, Cal. :|||||||||
  8. PART 6: The hunter is the hunted! Gym Leader Shade! First off, let's introduce this fella: Technician is her ability, so Force Palm has a BP of 90, hitting harder than Sky Uppercut now A couple others to show off as well: Not a great nature depending on his moveset, but I’m only using him for Extrasensory breeding for Roselia. Which will take a while, actually. So last time, we defeated Shelly, who directed us to the Grand Hall to solve the badge problem. And guess who we meet. Hehh... whatevs, mate. vs. FERN Well, we have to fight Cain right away. We haven't fought him in a while, so I'm looking forward to it! Add the type disadvantage, too! vs. CAIN Heather arrives and is terribly mean to Cain. I can sympathize deeply for her loss, but the way she treats other people... in any case, she does kinda redeem herself later, so whatever Cain says he won't give us the key, no idea why. He’s not even asking us to help, so why won't he give us the key? We chase after him back to Coral Ward, meet up with Heather as well, who ends up getting electrocuted by the evil doctor. Double battles with Shelly against the Orderlies soon resulted in this: Dunno if it's just me, but she just looks super pretty, 10/10 would bang Anyways, we're fugitives now in hiding. Though not really in hiding. You can go anywhere you want, nobody cares. If that makes sense. Anyways, Shade's gym is up next, which is what we really need, a new badge! After going through the spooky af gym that is Shade's (I should tell you the first time I played this part was at midnight, and I was honestly super scared ), we come across the man/entity himself! Here's a look-see into my team against him: Not too shabby, I hope. GYM #4 - vs. SHADE One of my easiest battles yet, and victory on the first try. Only problem was me getting a little careless and should've done my research. Thanks for reading! Next time, we'll cover more ground and hopefully, I'll get the battle with Cal done, reeeeally looking forward to that
  9. Saw the "Interests" section on your profile while replying to a status update, pretty cool that you're a basketball player. So was I (dropped out of the college team last year due to extra pressure from studies and stuff). May I know what position you play?

    1. Cool Girl

      Cool Girl

I was substitute, but I still had a lot of fun! :)

  10. Please do a Rock-type run. As you've found out yourself, it's very underused and Dark is my favorite type, so I'm planning on that being my next monotype (Not that it matters, but I'd kinda know what to expect when I read through it)
  11. Rockruff did indeed pleasantly surprise me, what I expected to be a part-time member earned a permanent spot on my team. Accelrock + Stone edge + Stealth Rock are great on it, although it must be careful while setting up. My starter, Decidueye and Gastrodon have also been extremely vital for the team.
  12. Well, it all depends on you and what you think you'll find enjoyable. How about a "Never Used" run, where you're only allowed to use mons that you've never used before?
  13. Interesting. What I really gave me the "meh" vibe about Primarina was its Liquid Voice ability, which didn't seem like anything special considering that it already had access to Hydro Pump. Boomburst on Primarina would have made him a better choice.
  14. Primarina is the only Gen 7 starter I haven't used yet. I'm curious to know why you think it's one of the best? On topic, I'd like to suggest Rockruff and evolve it during the day, it's a pretty fast and hard-hitting mon, and learns Stealth Rock, Stone Edge and Accelrock, a Rock Priority move which can be pretty useful to set up and clean lategame.
  15. Time for a change of pace and play the good old-fashioned official games... Soul Silver, here I come!

  16. Nidoqueen <3 Permission to flaunt it from my main run?
  17. Well, I can say you're right about the three examples you've given, but I have others in my team like Gallade, Hariyama, Medicham, Scrafty, etc, and I consider fighting to be their primary type. Oh, Blaziken is an absolute monster ingame. Speed Boost + Bulk Up is a very effective set. You can even use it as a support mon by Breeding Baton Pass on to it
  18. Camerupt and Acrobatics? Sounds ridiculous that such a heavy thing can even move that much, but that's pretty damn useful. Where's the showdown?? Probably gonna be the most interesting one yet
  19. Great job! You made Shelly look unbelievably easy. Also, why not evolve Nidorino? Are you waiting for a specific move? As @Revan already mentioned, Croagunk exists to take care of any future Steel types.
  20. Fighting types underrated? I think they're the most common part of the game. I have more fighting types on my main team than any other. They're an awesome species that boast strengths against 5 different types. Good luck in your run though, I'm sure it'll be a breeze with Torchic!
