It is quite hard to get into because of it's slow start and sheer size, but i found it to be very enjoyable Id recommend it if you have loads of free time and you're bored

I've just finished battling Fern for the first time, so no I haven't EV trained yet xD I'd highly recommend it though, once you get the power items.

If you're worried about Grass damage, I recommend stocking up on rindo berries, very helpful...

Precisely. Also it'd be pretty boring if you went with Chimchar since I'm already using it, so I want to see how far you'd go with Mudkip.

Oh dear lord that's evil I second @FactoryofSadness about Swampert, it's very tanky and hits hard, albeit a bit slower than you'd like. Be careful about Giga drain users, though..

As I said, the only hard battles I've had yet was against Cain and this random Oddish trainer I encountered while my team were all yellow... Fern was easy as hell. Led with Trubbish, set up two Toxic spikes and switched over to Dustox to finish off his Lotad. Kricketune took care of Snivy and Chimchar of Budew. Wonder if I should have started out with a "broken" starter, instead... Infernale is great, but Blaziken would've made this more.... Possible.

@Orasha looks like there's an ability capsule before Julia, as well Life is swell~ On topic though, I recommend breeding sucker punch on your mightyena: coupled with Moxie, you'll get a great revenge killing machine -
I feel I'm doing too many of these things, welp A new semester opens up, promising a Sawsbuck-load of work (kay, I'll stop) and tons of new responsibilities! But does that inspire me to become productive? Nope! On to another run! Even though my Grass monorun is incomplete and I've planned to a Dark monorun, yayy Also I'm easily carried away by new and fancy stuff so pls 5giv On to it! The Rules (totally not copy-pasted from Bulbapedia): The no soft-reset rule makes me shudder. However, an exception to all these rules, in my case: Battles against major 75 lvl bosses (Solaris, Arceus, etc) will not be counted: meaning I will actually try to beat them, but any deaths occurred throughout the battle will be dragon-ball-wished. Tbh, I don't expect to get very far, but I'll see where I reach. In any case, I've already started it, and this is as far as I've reached (I've just beaten asslord Fern): Mah bois and grills <3 No deaths up till now. Although I must admit of some slight grievances: The posting rate will be much slower on this thread than my grass mono cuz i'm a wuss

You should try this game called Pokémon Uranium (if you haven't already), it has amazing graphics but revolves mainly around fakemon. Dunsparce has an evolution that is Dragon/Normal in it and is wickedly powerful' -

@Jess Heather assured him she was okay? I don't really understand with her not talking at some point and suddenly starting to speak after a while. Oh I've dealt with Acid spray, trust me. The super effective Acid Sprays from the Pulse!Tangrowth gave me absolute hell. It's not underrated, it's unfair as hell xD Rack up those heart scales and use specific move sets for the enemy you face. That's what I do, at least -
@Orasha At long last, you did it! Mega Mawile is a powerful monster, there's a reason why it's in OU anyways (it is, isn't it). In any case, hearty congratulations from a fellow monotyper, and good luck for your next run! PS: Hopefully you have a mega stone for your Mawile as well! Or a mega audino might help you consider other alternatives

I don't ever recall seeing you heal until now... Cain's character dev is all downhill from here, to think who he actually leaves Heather with.. Well-fought battles against Aya, and strats against Solaris gets an upvote from me, Acid Spray + Intimidate + Glare is a good combo just a matter of luck from there -
Congratulations! Nah, don't think like that, this is definitely an accomplishment worth merit
