  1. Reason I thought of Claydol is because I instantly thought of the artifical/ancient/shamanic pokemon when I read about the Guardian Pokemon. With ancient I don't mean fossil pokemon and with artificial I don't mean the modern kind like Electrode and Magnezone.
  2. I was thinking of a guardian version of Claydol, keeper of knowledge in an ancient ruin that got destroyed during the war. He'd be rescued by Uxie who sought a kindred spirit and a protector in its quest for knowledge.
  3. Larvitar, Bagon, Dratini, Magikarp and Honedge aren't available in episode 16. Better luck next time.
  4. Good luck trading, because there are enough people who give the sandbox pokemon away for free.
  5. Personally I think that Gotham's Jerome would be a far better Joker than The Dark Knight's Joker.
  6. Corey was definitely one of the hardest gyms I fought against, mostly because I kinda messed up and had to fight in the poison mist. Became easier though when I decide to make a pokemon commit kamikaze and remove the mist (and itself).
  7. Defeated Ciel with Mamoswine, Archeops and Drapion. Mamoswine for the ice, Archeops for the rocks and Drapion was just great against Togekiss with Sniper, Scope Lens and Cross Poison.
  8. Against Marienette I was really glad that I had a Ralts as starter, she destroyed Marienette.
  9. Idea sounds awesome. Pokedex could be replaced with a pokenote (a notebook) or something and modern urban pokemon such as Magnemite and Voltorb line wouldn't exist yet, Koffing and Grimer could easily exist already though.
  10. Get 2 pokemon: 1. Heracross/Pinsir (personally chose Heracross) 2. Beldum (I prefer my Prankster Perish Song Murkrow over your Honchkrow, it's a great pokemon against PULSE pokemon and fights that you have to lose, since those fights give a lot of xp and cash if you actually do win.)
  11. If it does work, would you mind sending me the file with the .gif sprites?
  12. @The Drunken Dragonite, is the journey already at it's end?
  13. I just destroyed him with Heracross+Moxie+Rock Blast+Wide Lens.
  14. I beat Adrienn with Metagross (Clear Body ftw), Bisharp with Defiant (great way to counter Granbull's and Mawile's Intimidate) and finally a Sniper Drapion with scope lens. Finally I just kept reloading until Gardevoir missed with Focus Blast and the rest was easy. Also, might be an idea to give Metagross a Wide Lens so it doesn't miss with Meteor Mash.
  15. I did it with 1st attack of my Blaziken.
  16. I can do something better than imagining a shiny Metagross, I actually hatched a shiny Beldum in Pokemon X, taught it Hammer Arm, EQ, Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt when it finally evolved into Metagross.
  17. I actually got both pseudo lines, 1 of those is absolutely impossible to get without guide.
  18. Shelly is the bug gym right? Beat that one without any of my pokemon fainting, set the forest in fire and destroyed all those bugs. Definitely easiest gym imho.
  19. Not sure if I'm remembering correctly, but didn't Charlotte's gym turn rock-type moves into fire-type moves? Also, the gym will boost all fire-moves and most of those are special attacks, with low speed and special defense of Rhyperior I doubt he'll be of much use.
  20. A great grass-type imo is Lilligant, set up with Quiver Dance and crush the enemy with Petal Dance. Even used my Lilligant to destroy Noel, Kiki and even Cain.
  21. I believe I used speed boost Blaziken there with fighting moves and a Bisharp with Iron Head, those 2 work great there.
  22. If the game has the same story as the manga, it would be a lot better to change it to Verdant Tales (which sounds better imho).
  23. Take a look at Rejuvenation, any fight against a legendary would take out at least half your team, considering this "last boss" would have 2 of them, you would have to center your team around legendaries, otherwise you wouldn't stand a single chance.
  24. To me, post game stuff can be both an additional part of gameplay or a new game+. I just hate it when you play all the way to the final boss only to be able to defeat it over and over again because you can't save the game after it or when you just keep walking around the world map with nothing more to do. Which is what I really liked about ORAS and sun/moon, although there wasn't a lot of post game stuff in ORAS, it was still fun to play and in sun/moon it was really an extra chapter with all those Ultra Beasts.
