  1. I didn't think there were that many grass types....... Did you already have a Bulbasaur?
  2. I have 3 or 4 more still if you want them. Thank you for helping clear out some room. @Candelabrum I found 5 in the end.
  3. I have some spare eggs that have been in my PC for a while (a few I don't even remember what they are). Do you want some still? I have 5 on me right now.
  4. And the FCC has proven they can in fact become more hated than they've been in the past.  In a vote of 3-2 the FCC has voted in favor of repealing Net Neutrality, all thanks to the votes of the shitstain that started this round, "a human potato and a worm" (last two taken from KYM).  Thank you to the two voters that retained their human decency.

Still, it's not over by any means, since said shitstain has to defend this in court(s), where we hope that people still have their decency and haven't been bought out.  There's also Congressional action that can be taken.

If I sound like I really don't like this guy, just look at this unironic PSA he released yesterday addressing us "internet trolls"

  7. To be fair, as I was trying to highlight there, I've only fully played 3 games that could be classified as Pokemon fangames, which is why Reborn is a clear winner. Maybe when I finally play Desolation or another one, I'll find a better one. Reborn just raised the bar for me to a new standard so another is free to take it's place; there may be a small bit of bias since it was my first fangame, but it wouldn't be a hindrance if a game is genuinely better than Reborn (from my perspective). I've been following since ssbCasper's first or second thread about Empire since I liked the idea/concept, and I was very glad he got all the support he did so fast. Maybe Empire will be the one to knock Reborn off it's pedestal in my mind. It might even be Desolation that I keep hearing about when I finally get around to playing it (when new ep drops in Feb probably).
  8. (not sure if this is supposed to just include Video game characters, but all my anime characters appear in video games......so) characters I like people a lot of people hate: Vanillite line (Pokemon)--Adorable design, but questionable stats Titina (Reborn) Crew (Jak 2/x) Rain (Jak X) Shin Asuka (Gundam Seed Destiny; Super Robot Wars)---- Not a terrible character, just terrible writing (SRW Z proved he can be written well) Shinji Ikari (Eveangeilon franchise; Super Robot Wars)---Has every right to complain characters I don't like people a lot of people love: Plusle/Minun--- I get they are cute, but they represent a gimmick(?) which was showing off double battles Red (Pokemon Red/Gen 1) Blue (Pokemon Red/Gen 1) Taka (Reborn)--- Koishi Komeiji (Touhou Project)----Seriously, why is this character always in the top 3? Asuka L. Soryu (Evangelion; Super Robot Wars) Suzaku Kururugi (Code Geass; SRW)---I don't know if he has more fans, but he has a portion

  10. Since you've been posting Jojo so much, I'll show you the closest thing Touhou has to a Stand user, Ichirin,  and a Stand, Unzan.    Technically, they are their own beings and are partners, but the Stand comparisons can be made.

Posted the FMW version for best comparison (and the original game stage, though it doesn't illustrate the comparison quite as well).

Fun fact, Zun (Touhou's creator) only made Ichirin so Unzan (the actual boss of the stage) would have a normal hitbox.  Really turns the Stand comparison around there.  Unzan is also one of the only two male Touhou characters with any relevance (and even his isn't much).

lt's mostly that that kind of show is ALWAYS at some point down to opinion cause they shoot themselves in the foot by needing to pick a winner. lt's just not a show format l really enjoy lol.

Sounds accurate, especially when they do very popular shows.

  11. If you saw that comic I posted a few days ago in the Funny Pictures thread about if Earth was an anime girl (re-posted below), it seems another artist made a sequel.  This probably doesn't warrant a status update, but I felt they needed to be seen.  Good job NASA-sempai.

  12. And then there were two.  Only two more stages in the second Fantasy Maiden Wars.  If they are like the last two stages, I'm in for RNG hell  This time both final bosses probably have 5 spell cards, however, so that will be irritating.

  13. Reborn: Has Become my Golden Standard of measuring Pokemon fangames/fan-projects. While it might not succeed in every single category, I feel it stands a head above the rest, especially in terms of story and general polish. The Solid #1 spot for now. Rejuv: While it does give off a different vibe at first, it becomes a bit too much like Reborn later on for me, but I can give it the #2 spot. Still, a more vibrant feel than Reborn can use. Intense mode shouldn't try to sell itself as "harder" than Reborn though....it's just not most of the time. Insurgence: As much as I rag on the buggy, incomplete feel of the game of the game and its community's general shitiness, I do have to give it Insurgence for being the only game with an extensive list of fake mon that I actually like. They feel just as well put together (in most cases) as Alolan forms. If only Suze had more beta testers. While I'm curious about Zeta/Omnicrom, I doubt I'll play it if it's as well put together as Insurgence (or has the same overabundance of lampshade hanging). *While I've started Legends of the Arena, I haven't gotten too far. Can only comment on the A+ humor in the first parts* *Still have yet to play Desolation, but I've only heard great things* *While I fully support the Uranium team against Nintendo, I have no interest in playing, especially since none of the fakemon clicked with me*
  14. Thank you for giving me this chance to be festive!
  15. Might as well. A Santa hat will go well with the nuclear(?) fires in the background.
  16. No, thank you! I haven't had as much time to re-explore all of Reborn looking for the new mons, so this was a big help. Enjoy your shinies, and happy trading!
  17. Are you available to trade now? If so, I'll wait; ID: Seki108
  18. Could I get a Stuffel, Litten, and Mudsbrey?
  19. I didn't know a trailer for the next Super Robot Wars game would be dropping today.  Like the last time, I am definitely hyped, even though I don't have a chance in Hell of actually playing it.....orz.

While a lot of these series seem like rehashes of the same series from the Z series (again) and the most recent game, V (which seemed to be copying Z3's roster itself),  the trailer might suggest they actually reanimated everything to some extent (since even the models are different).  This definitely softens the blow of so many series returning so soon.   I do wonder if Banpresto just loves re-animating the Nu Gundam almost every game it appears in (or at least it's Fin-Funnel attack.

    * While the disclaimer does suggest the animation might not be of the same quality as the trailer, Banpresto has a history of being consistent in this regard.  I'll trust them for now.

With so many returning series, they are bringing in 4 new series, which is about average nowadays.  While G-Reco and Buddy Complex were expected eventually, I didn't think Nadia would ever be in it (since I don't think it's really a mecha anime); it does about round out Gainax's representation in SRW, except for FLCL (which will probably appear in Cross-Omega at some point).  Four main points to mention:

    • Thank God they finally dropped Seed Destiny, Macross Frontier, and maybe Gundam 00 off the continuous roster.  It's been almost a decade and those three have been appearing in almost every non-OG SRW game.  Hell, most of the time they don't even have any story importance.  They did add back the old fallback of Endless Waltz, though.

    • No Getter Robo in a non-handlheld SRW?  They do remember that both Neo and New Getter Robo exist and haven't been used in almost a decade, right?

    • Shin Mazinger + Mazinger Zero + Mazinkaiser.......I have no idea how they are going to combine the stories (or if Koji will have to choose whether to pilot Zero or Kaiser), but this has promise

    • HI-NU GUNDAM IS BACK!!!!!  It makes me hope Nightingale will return as well......fingers crossed.

Well, V turned out very well and was able to mix the stories together well and pull unexpected things, so I have high hopes for this one.  The setting/world seems like it might be unusual for this one, since they even emphasize it in the trailer...........I wonder if this will be another case of dimensional travel/misplacement shenanigans, or if it will go back to the older formula of "the world developed/just is this way" with only a few misplacement.  Masaki's appearance is definitely usually and makes me wonder.......

    Spoiler

@Zarc  S2 of Code Geass is appearing again.  It looks like it's plot might actually play a part in the story again (since it's last two appearances in Z3.1 and 3.2 were just the main 4 being around/kicking ass-----and Zero being chief strategist still).  Of course, this is only going by Jeremiah being on the enemy side in the Sutherland Seig, so it probably won't be confirmed till next trailer.  Only CG clip is at 2:33.
