And the FCC has proven they can in fact become more hated than they've been in the past. In a vote of 3-2 the FCC has voted in favor of repealing Net Neutrality, all thanks to the votes of the shitstain that started this round, "a human potato and a worm" (last two taken from KYM). Thank you to the two voters that retained their human decency.
Still, it's not over by any means, since said shitstain has to defend this in court(s), where we hope that people still have their decency and haven't been bought out. There's also Congressional action that can be taken.

And then there were one. Just one more stage to go in the second Fantasy Maiden Wars. Then on to the third.

Since you've been posting Jojo so much, I'll show you the closest thing Touhou has to a Stand user, Ichirin, and a Stand, Unzan. Technically, they are their own beings and are partners, but the Stand comparisons can be made.
Posted the FMW version for best comparison (and the original game stage, though it doesn't illustrate the comparison quite as well).
SpoilerSpoilerFun fact, Zun (Touhou's creator) only made Ichirin so Unzan (the actual boss of the stage) would have a normal hitbox. Really turns the Stand comparison around there. Unzan is also one of the only two male Touhou characters with any relevance (and even his isn't much).

If you saw that comic I posted a few days ago in the Funny Pictures thread about if Earth was an anime girl (re-posted below), it seems another artist made a sequel. This probably doesn't warrant a status update, but I felt they needed to be seen. Good job NASA-sempai.

And then there were two. Only two more stages in the second Fantasy Maiden Wars. If they are like the last two stages, I'm in for RNG hell This time both final bosses probably have 5 spell cards, however, so that will be irritating.

I didn't know a trailer for the next Super Robot Wars game would be dropping today. Like the last time, I am definitely hyped, even though I don't have a chance in Hell of actually playing it.....orz.
While a lot of these series seem like rehashes of the same series from the Z series (again) and the most recent game, V (which seemed to be copying Z3's roster itself), the trailer might suggest they actually reanimated everything to some extent (since even the models are different). This definitely softens the blow of so many series returning so soon. I do wonder if Banpresto just loves re-animating the Nu Gundam almost every game it appears in (or at least it's Fin-Funnel attack.
* While the disclaimer does suggest the animation might not be of the same quality as the trailer, Banpresto has a history of being consistent in this regard. I'll trust them for now.
With so many returning series, they are bringing in 4 new series, which is about average nowadays. While G-Reco and Buddy Complex were expected eventually, I didn't think Nadia would ever be in it (since I don't think it's really a mecha anime); it does about round out Gainax's representation in SRW, except for FLCL (which will probably appear in Cross-Omega at some point). Four main points to mention:
- Thank God they finally dropped Seed Destiny, Macross Frontier, and maybe Gundam 00 off the continuous roster. It's been almost a decade and those three have been appearing in almost every non-OG SRW game. Hell, most of the time they don't even have any story importance. They did add back the old fallback of Endless Waltz, though.
- No Getter Robo in a non-handlheld SRW? They do remember that both Neo and New Getter Robo exist and haven't been used in almost a decade, right?
- Shin Mazinger + Mazinger Zero + Mazinkaiser.......I have no idea how they are going to combine the stories (or if Koji will have to choose whether to pilot Zero or Kaiser), but this has promise
- HI-NU GUNDAM IS BACK!!!!! It makes me hope Nightingale will return as well......fingers crossed.
Well, V turned out very well and was able to mix the stories together well and pull unexpected things, so I have high hopes for this one. The setting/world seems like it might be unusual for this one, since they even emphasize it in the trailer...........I wonder if this will be another case of dimensional travel/misplacement shenanigans, or if it will go back to the older formula of "the world developed/just is this way" with only a few misplacement. Masaki's appearance is definitely usually and makes me wonder.......
Spoiler@Zarc S2 of Code Geass is appearing again. It looks like it's plot might actually play a part in the story again (since it's last two appearances in Z3.1 and 3.2 were just the main 4 being around/kicking ass-----and Zero being chief strategist still). Of course, this is only going by Jeremiah being on the enemy side in the Sutherland Seig, so it probably won't be confirmed till next trailer. Only CG clip is at 2:33.
