  1. Suprised, Cathode took the robotic figurine of what seemed like a pokemon, albeit an unknown one to her, into her hands, all the while not failing to notice Clarence's behavior next to her. The clefairy seemed to know more about this item than the both of Zetta and herself. "Um, Zetta? I-I think Clarence over here recognizes this thing. Maybe you can help me in trying to make out what he tries to convey..." She turned to the clefairy and did the start herself. "Clarence? D-do you know someone who had this? Is it someone we might know too? From Aether Foundation maybe?"
  2. 5 minute team. The 2manyheads meme awakens. Sprite: Card: Chikorita
  3. What better 'mon to represent "Heavy Metal" than an Aggron or Steelix xD
  4. Seeing the issue settled swiftly, Cathode turned her attention back to Zeta the dead-end. After smiling shyly to her she gestured with her head and said: "Shall we go then?" After giving it some thought though she countered with, "Actually give me a moment". She approached the morelull near Taylor. "Hello there cutie. This," she took out the Sporespray from the bag "can store different kinds of powders in it. Do you mind lending me some of your spore? Don't worry i made it so it will suck everything in a small wide area in front of it so me or Taylor won't fall asleep. I feel like we will need all the help we can get in this place."
  5. Cathode was about to embark into exploring corridor 4 together with Zeta, but after the latest events, she had to stop short and say to the others: "I-if something happens to Kalva during the time he is alone in there, it will be very bad. Even if we have reached to a more practical plan of how to explore this place, someone has to accompany him, since it is obvious he won't back down. ...B-besides... that wailord sounds hurt."
  6. What does:  BRRRRRRRRRRRR click click BRRRRRRRRRRRR click click  ?

  7. This was sad. I believe you could call bullshit clause and get it over with. This is a lose-able fight after all. What you did needed balls. Maybe you did it because you knew what would happen in an otherwise blind run so you chose this way to be fairer. Even if you wanted to sack some needless mons from boxes, you had neved's fight right before so you needed some core members for that one. And then we got despicable factors not letting you do what you need to do .... sigh.
  8. Today was a format day. So i sat and read all the part of the run since my last post in one sitting while the whole file transfer and installations were going on. I wish i had kept notes on which i wanted to comment, because they were too many. Oh well. Ze latesht zegment made mah night a merry one Well about the Gym Leader position and its duties, it actually varies between games/mangas/fanfics. In some, they can count as equal to town chiefs, managing pretty much everything. In others, they are like what you described. Either is viable in my book. And seeing how they are portrayed in reborn/rejuv, i have the impression that while they do not actually run their towns/disctricts, they do act as some kind of vigilante force when things out of the ordinary happen. Venam could be excused for deciding to act upon discovering an unforseen mansion inside her area's sewers, but her character is so messed up that it invalidates everything. I still like venam tho lol dont judge me xD
  9. Interesting! That's prolly the second mmorpg based on the typical pokemon game i see, after PokeMMO. My best wishes for the project! Might try it out sometime when my life spares me time.
  10. "...a whale? W-well seeing as we are dealing with the fusion of two different nexuses anything is possible but there could be other ways to create such a hole too... like, a very big ground pokemon like a steelix that purposely dug this hole in order to be left open. Ground pokemon tend to leave the ground as it was before after burying themselves that's why it should have been purposeful." Cathode replied to Sena. "O-on second thought, i have to competely invalidate the case of a falling whale to create such a hole, because things like these create craters when they fall. Not deep holes with the area around the hall left unscathed. Either something has drilled its way into the ground from above, or... something made its way up from below ground. In both cases, this something must be pretty big..." On mention of exploring the different tunnels found, Cathode had to note: "I-I think in these kinds of situations a viable course of action would be creating groups of two and covering multiple paths at the same time. Starting from the one with the shortest known length towards the supposed longest one. Seeing the limited range that the A-Comm has covered in this underground area, tunnel 4 is most certainly a dead end. I-I would probably start from there, see if there is anything of note, and then move to either 5, 1, or 2 since I just have this feeling they might be shorter than 3, or at least simpler. I'd prolly choose 5 over 1/2 since it's closer to 4 just to save time though. What do you thinkg Mr. T-terry?" She finished while turning towards the large man, albeit still looking to the ground in front of her.
  11. "Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeee are you okay?" Cathode went about for like the 5th time. An obviously bored by this time growl was the answer. She knew asking and getting a reply once would suffice but she couldn't help but worry! "I'm coming down there in a jiffy!" She said while grasping the rope and climbing down, paying no heed to the fact that she had not done anything like that before. "The wet environment around you must be very annoying, so I will recall you when i get down till we get to dry ground again, so tolerate it for a bit more!" But seriously, a hole like this in the middle of the forest? It went straight down. What could have created such a thing? Maybe there will be underground tunnels that will lead to various places. That zeta girl said she wanted star pieces, and an underground cavern seemed like the perfect place for such ores. Maybe she would find other useful stuff too in there, maybe even a large quantity of the mineral needed to make a metal coat to help evolve Suzie. "There you go, relax for now." Cathode recalled Suzie and then turned to the almost giant that was Terry. "Um, s-sir maybe we should check for any underground tunnels while we 're at it, after the others come down too? M-maybe it will be beneficial for this mission... and not only!"
  12. "Suzie, it's okay... there are always some times that for some reason we fail at things in which we are naturally good. Now please, can you just start opening a path through the trees instead? I'm sure they will break just fine!" Felt like the fifth time Cathode said the same thing in different ways, trying to get through to an utterly embarrassed and frustrated Suzie. After her initial failure to dig through the ground after it proved to be seemingly dense in some hard solid substance, she simply didn't give up, and kept practically pounding and drilling her head into the shallow hole that she had made before she met the solid part. She was simply adamant on creating the damn tunnel. Her already rough rocky face had some even rougher areas. "If you keep doing that I'm just going to assume that you are afraid you won't break the trees either so you are trying to avoid trying..." pseudo-sighed Cathode in a mock exasperation. Suzie apparently got triggered this time, and after throwing her trainer a "hold my beer" glare, crashed into the forest with more force than would be nessecary. "Ohh good good that's it! Keep going towards that rock that we saw before! ...Though I'm sure that even if you put half of that force, you can still break them..." The onix didn't seem to like being praised for breaking some puny trees, so after a sidestare kept going towards the rock in a smoothier manner.
  13. Oh? I see now the thread's name has been updated to legit "Episode 4"! Does this mean that Palettite won the war with their technological problems? ;p
  14. Cathode, seeing as Taylor had already taken action in dealing (albeit with a pretty unexpected way) with the mushroom 'mons that she remembered from the depths of her knowledge being called Morelull, brought her attention back to that notable rock. On hearing Sena asking them what they see (how could she not notice him till now?) she tried to describe: "There is an important-looking rock in the distance, around which the forest seems to resist the crystallization process" Then, referring to everyone, she added: "M-maybe we should break through the trees to go to that stone there? I think we might find a clue of how this situation can be reversed..." Seeing as the cute 'lulls were in the way if anyone tried to go straight ahead, she felt happy Suzie was a sizable ground type. "I think it's time to get down guys..." On cue, their rocky platform started lowering till it touched the ground, so that they could easily jump down. "After we get down, please start digging a hole starting from there-" she pointed a spot a little more ahead, yet still pretty far from the shrooms "-and emerge at an about same distance behind from the pokemon in front of us. Can you do that Suz?" Her partner acknowledged the request and patiently waited till everyone got off her so she can get to work. The tunnel dug from an onix should be big enough for them to enter and bypass the living obstacle without needing to harm the little fairies, in case Taylor's negotiations failed.
  15. "You heard the boys Suzie, if you would be so kind..." Suzie simply brought her tail near them so that they can use the last segment as a lift while holding on to the next one.
  16. Cathode spent a long time simply marveling on the almost magical vibe the new environment was giving. The prospect of a cave full of star pieces further enhanced that vibe. She was pretty concerned on the exeggutor's state, and hoped they would find what that precious item to it was, or at least a hint about it. If the task involved digging, at least she had just the right partner for that. After the special precision exercises she would also be causing much less damage to the environment around the digging place. It seemed though that this aforementioned digging place didn't want to be found, and now a fence of petrified trees (seriously?) was standing firm in their way. "T-his is so confusing, even if the trees was petrified... how did you guys traverse this forest last time? There should be an opening. Or d-don't you tell me you just squeezed yourselves among the previously-more-elastic leaves and branches?" Last case was bad because it meant finding another way would be problematic. "In any case..." she started as she pressed the luxury ball's release machanism, "I need a high ground Suzie please?" The rock snake could sense the tension in the atmosphere, and lowered her head for Cathode to climb on without much delay. The girl would explain later anyway. As more of the segmented rocky form was uncurling to create more artificial height, she figured others might also be able to notice something from up there that her eyes would miss. She turmed to Betani Kai and Frederick "If anyone else want to come up to get a look too, Suzie can lift you up here with her tail. S-sorry for not thinking about it earlier!" By now she had reached over the treetops, so she raised her glance back up to see the view that would unfold before her.
  17. Reading a buncho updates altogether was nice. The thing about Fisty is that i didn't notice him on that wall the first time You certainly had less trouble with Madelis than i had on a non-nuzlocke... albeit intense mode and having a kinda restricted choice of 'mons. Funny thing is that braixen first says shes a shit battler, and some time later shes holding out agaisnt a Deoxys while another one oneshots 4/6 of my team... i am also supporting the traitor thing. About the pink hair... all u had to do was select the primary female P.Character who also has it. You can say thats her only natural child and the rest of you were adopted Or maybe that's a robot too. Nancy v2.0 who knows.
  18. Cathode was still adjusting to the sudden changes that had taken place in what felt like a much shorter time than she was prepared for. One moment they were having breakfast with visitors and the next she was running to recall Suzie, get in a car, get shouted at by unexpectedly frustrated people, and getting herself once again ushered into another vehicle. "I-I understand that there was a discovery, but so much haste and upsetting is a b-bit...." She also couldn't help being scared of the unknown machoke-like man even tho he seemed quite laid back. Also.. him? With a clefairy? The idea was comical.
  19. Permission to engage: Granted. Initiate energy resupply protocol: Consume at will. The next time Cathode was conscious of her surroundings, the room was a bit more crowded than before, her plate was empty with a creepy shine as i someone had even cleaned it, and the sight of the pokemon around her also eating, reminded her of her own. She scurried towards the fridge hoping to get the ingredients she needed. Fortunately it seems Aether Foundation were pretty thorough in their food supply variety. She quickly found the ingredients she wanted: two petayas, eight hondews, and three more tamatos. Any special preparation would be pointless. Suzie would consume them all in one gulp anyway, but they would be enough to give her the energy and nutriends she needed. The rest, she would find herself deep into the ground. Once she was done she went outside to find (not really a hard endeavor) the big rock snake. As normally she was sleeping on the most sunlit spot of the yard. She found a rather flat stone big enough for the job and assorted the berries on it as mixed as posible in order to achieve the closest to perfect balance between spicy and dry. Rocks were a part of her diet and it would not be practical for her to eat them from the plate. She placed it next to her sleeping form without much noise and returned back to the others.
  20. *Sniffs* "You're right..." Cathode only just noticed that something else was going on just some paces away. She cautiously went and entered the kitchen, to find Emmanuel, with his two 'mons actually having nearly prepared enough breakfast for everyone, and not the bland kind. She only just realized she was hungry as she was gazing the spectacle. She had to force her mouth shut almost immediately to stop the vast amounts of produced saliva from running down her chin. She could wait for everyone so they can eat together. Or she could sneak a bite... "T-this looks delicious Em... c-an I...? Can I..... ?" This was not so sneaky....
  21. Cathode was awoken from her maelstrom of dreams by more sounds than she would have liked. It looks like they had a visitor. The sound of footstep outside told her that someone else was faster than her in reacting to the new development. She checked herself. She had gone to sleep with her clothes on, and the bed was still almost as she found it last night. She would have mentally commented that she must have been very tired last night but she would be lying to herself. She did this often regardless of fatigue. Might as well go check whoever it is this early in the morning. Most probably someone important for something important. Still associating with new people was not her forte so it was good that someone else had gone ahead. Heading downstairs she realized the one whose footsteps she had heard was Shelly (she had finally learned all their names indirectly), and that Kai whose room was closer to the door was already greeting the guests that Cathode could not see yet. "Morning..." She sleepily mumbled in their general direction as she approached them. As she was coming closer to the door she could see the silhouette of that strange girl that Mason had taken with him back in the office ...and Mason himself. Sigh. This was gonna be fun. She approached the girl, hoping she would have not been subjected to some form of abuse, which was unlikely seeing how happy she was. "So your name is Zeta?" She broke the ice with a shy smile. She then extended the hand for a shake. "Cathode. Nice to meet you. Also good morning Mr. Mason" She said in a natural way. After all he did say that whatever had happened between them had to stay between them, and seeing as Kai was pretty casual around him, this should be the norm.
  22. v9 was rushed he says ... meanwhile i didn't feel it at all... if that was rushed then i can't imagine a non-rushed v9
  23. Happy birthday, keep being awesome
  24. Ever since Cathode realized the Aether balls had been unlocked and that there was a spacious yard for them to use as they pleased, she immediately released Suzie and watched warmly as the gigantic snake stretched, and did a quick survey of the surroundings before turning her attention towards her trainer, obviously expecting an explanation. "Hee~ Nice isn't it? This is most likely going to be our new home for a while. And it's got enough space outside! Yard's yours Suzie!" Suzie did some wandering about before settling in the most sun-bathed spot she could find, curling up and basking in the sun. The whole process must have taken more time than it felt like, resulting in her coming back to reality when she heard a woman's voice coming from inside the house. After running in and managing to not miss anything more than the beginning she was actually excited to have more thing explained about the one device she would be most probably be using the most for the foreseeable future. The more she knew about it, the more comfortable her everyday life would be, and also the closer she would be to find out how to tinker with Mason's modifications without him noticing... because she hated feeling like she is being watched. She decided to try out the EP system. She looked back at the serene sight of her sunbathing friend, and imagining the multitude of battles they would have to go through in their career, she figured a defensive approach would let her emerge victorious in a less than expected bad shape...
  25. You should have considered in making your own game at some point, seeing as you have both developing knowledge and solid foundations for storytelling and character development. Doesn't really have to be 'mons. Also i just think its interesting to note out that Anathea's name is close to the greek word "anathema" which is literally, damnation. Also it can be connected to atheos (M) / athei (F) which is an atheist. As a bonus irrelevant note, i always found it funny how Athos, the monastic mountain considered the heart of the Orthodox Church, is a letter short from "atheos".
