What's your favorite Lycanroc? Day or Night?
Zargerth replied to VitaniDaReal's topic in Rejuvenation
Day, but only because I have no experience of using Night form. -
There are some side quests for you to do, such as gathering the lost Mulch and the Reborn City restoration project (which is divided into 3 parts, iirc you can complete 1 part of your choice as of now).
-
Delphox Absol Noivern Relicanth Mudsdale, if it's not available in E17 then Hippowdon Slurpuff
-
@Commander In this chapter, Geara is actually Russian/French man named Gregor (Gregor is actually surprisingly suitable name for plot reasons you'll discover soon enough). All he needs is something to drink while delivering his lines. Team Xen admins are turning out to be a colorful bunch at this rate.

Iirc you have to defeat all the Kimono Girls in order to get one. In other words, at the end of current version. A-Ninetails learns Dazzling Gleam only, but Moonblast is an egg move (you need Sylveon or Primarina).
-
@lolbro You can find Trapinch in the shack at the top of Silver Mountain (where you first met Tristan). Trapinch learns Superpower at lvl 40. Another option could be Primeape, it learns Cross Chop at lvl 41. Tristan used to be much worse, considering that Fighting-type moves were weakened by the previous field effect. Also, if you caught the Croagunk back in the jungle (before the battle with Connor), now might be a good time to raise and train it. Rock Smash has 70 BP in this game so it's a very viable STAB, not to mention Croagunk learns both Poison Jab and Sludge Bomb, both of which are effective against Wigglytuff. I guess you should keep your Boldore as Boldore and not evolve it, you can still set up Stealth Rocks. I don't know what moves or ability your Luxray has, but I'd say it's your best bet against Staraptor. Or you can save Boldore and use it against Staraptor: should it use Close Combat, I'm pretty sure Boldore tanks it (especially with Sturdy!) and then knocks Staraptor out with Stone Edge. You can eventually get Moon Stones in Cellia City, other than that I think Pickup or catching / stealing from wild Lunatones are the only methods of obtaining them. You can buy Magmarizer in Cellia as well. Another method would have been to catch the Magby when it's holding Magmarizer but it's no use to fret over spilled milk now. Even though you did fine with just 3-4 Pokemon up to this point, it's never a bad idea to raise more. This game throws good Pokemon at you quite frequently.

Where do I go next? [REJUVENATION]
Zargerth replied to Jan's topic in Official Rejuvenation Club's Guides & Resources
@ISNorden Did you search Venam's room? That's where the CD is. -
Where do I go next? [REJUVENATION]

Venam's house is in Gearen City. -
Link Heart is basically an item that replaces trade evolutions. You just use one on, say, Graveler and it evolves to Golem. The vendor should be in Route 3 I believe.
-
Here's a little twist: use only mons that evolve via Stones (as in Fire, Water, Leaf Stone etc.)
-
@mario98 Unfortunately Misdreavus was axed (not obtainable in current version, but can be obtained in an earlier version). That leaves you with Litwick, Yamask and Drifblim if you prefer a special attack - oriented Ghost- type. Yamask can be found in Narcissa's Gym, Drifblim is found in Goldenleaf Town and Wispy Path at night iirc and Litwick is obtained after defeating Rift Chandelure. You need Rock Climb to reach it so you need to get further in the game first. Sandygast is found so late that it's not really a viable option right now.
-
@Kruppstahl Yeah, I guess that's just an oversight. I would say your situation is particularly rare, considering that you don't seem to have Empoleon?
-
If it's defensive Water -types you're looking for, how about Vaporeon or Gastrodon? While the lack of Scald holds them back, they both have access to recovery moves like Wish and Recover respectively. Then you could run Toxic (and maybe Acid Armor too). Last moveslot would be STAB, like Surf or Hydro Pump.

Disclaimer: I don't know how familiar you're with the characters and leaders of this game, so I try to avoid spoilers. In my experience, yes and no. For instance, the level gap isn't that horrifying between the leader that comes after Angie and the next one after them. However, that's where the good news end. You see, the levels now skyrocket again. At the end of current release I was consistently around 10 levels lower than my opponents - I played on Intense, so that is a contributing factor. Still, I had like 8 Pokemon I used, so rotating more than that means you have to spend quite some time grinding EXP, in other words, battling Audino trainers.
-
Well, that's (probably) not as bad as getting destroyed by Decimation, which apparently is OHKO move with regular 100 accuracy (you know, because level 100 Yveltal needs a custom move to even the odds against a bunch of level 40 mons).
-
Well, you eventually can get Gardevoir, but that's going to take some time and you might want to find the Fairy -type mon quite soon, I assume. Mawile should be obtainable by now, as well as Azumarill if you got lucky with the Phantump egg trade. If you rescued the Mime Jr. back in Team Xen's Carotos Lab or caught the one found in Goldenwood Ruins, you can raise Mr. Mime. When you can leave Terajuma, you can (by using Surf) find Cleffa and Cutiefly - there are areas in route 3 that you can access by surfing. Last but not least, there's Alolan Ninetails. You can't get one right now, though. It requires a trade - you need Alolan Sandshrew, which is possible to get a bit later - but you also need to find an Ice Stone. Iirc it's found late in the current version. There are some other Fairy -types for you to choose as well. Those include Carbink (Amethyst Cave), Dedenne and Spritzee (Route 2) and Snubbull (Goldenwood, after defeating Narcissa).
-
There is supposed to be a path to the right, there's a gap on a wall you can go through.
-
@MachoPony According to Item Guide, there should be a Fire Stone in Carotos Mountain. You can also find one by mining rocks, but that option isn't available to you yet.
-
@Flying Crocodile Do you need another Fire - or Ground -type? As for Fire -types, you can pick Growlithe (if you found all the police officers), Houndour (from Magma Gang's alley) or Litwick (a bit further in the game, you need a Soul Candle). If it's physical power you need, I second Darmanitan. If you are looking for a Ground -type, then Golem isn't a bad choice at all. Nidoking is great as well as Mamoswine, just to name a few in addition to Krookodile.
-
You answered your own question. It's the answer 1. You could just evolve it to Togetic and then breed.

[Rejuvenation] Looking for good stallers/fighting types.
Zargerth replied to Exodus's topic in Rejuvenation
If it's Toxic Spikes you need, how about Drapion? Then there's Scolipede, but I can't remember if it was available. There are plenty of Nuzzle users too - I like Togedemaru because it has a decent Speed stat but also access to Sturdy, so if the opponent is faster you still can in most cases land the hit and inflict Paralysis. When it comes to Fighting -types, there's plenty to choose from: Crabominable, Machamp, Hariyama, Gallade, Heracross... -
Desolation doesn't have Gen VII content yet and Bibarel doesn't learn Aqua Jet in Gen VI

Well, here goes nothing although I'm a disgrace of a veteran. Technically I am a veteran since I've been a member for a few years, but I can't say I was around here "back in the old days". Known as: I don't go by any other name than Zargerth for the time being. That applies to other places and forums so if you've seen my name pop up somewhere, chances are it was me. Age: 24 years old Gender: Male Birthday: June 7, 1993 Location: Finland Funland Height: 180 cm, which is around 5,11 feet I believe. Hair Color: I don't know, light brown of sorts I think describes it vaguely. Eye Color: Green Lives with: Me, myself and I Pets: I don't have any, but my parents have two dogs. Relationship status: Single Favourite Food: I eat anything, including insects. Favourite Drink: Based on consumption? Coffee. Favourite Color: Believe it or not, orange. Favourite kind of Music: For simplicity's sake and because of my poor knowledge of music, I'll just say metal. Favourite Band: I'll go with Five Finger Death Punch for now. Favourite Game: Xenoblade Chronicles or Monster Hunter 3 Favourite Genre of Game: I mostly play open-world games and RPGs Favourite Hobbies: Reading and playing videogames Favourite Movies: When was the last time I watched a movie? So, who are you?: Just someone who ended up here because of or thanks to shofu. Lil' ol' arrogant me though I could do way better, only to get destroyed by Julia 10 times in a row. And Corey. And Kiki. And - well, I think you get the point. In real life I'm a university student. My majors are (since I sort of have two majors) Russian and Translation studies. I have sarcastic tendencies combined with some self-irony. Anything you're responsible for? No, aside from occasionally giving advice in Rejuvenation sub-forum or causing headaches. If you had to choose one of your posts as your way to introduce yourself, which would it be? This is as good as they come. What can I talk to you about? What you cannot talk to me about is personal issues and politics. I mean, you can, but chances are I'm not the right person to talk to. I tend to come across somewhat blunt (not on purpose, mind you), so I can't say I'm good at giving advice when it comes to things like relationships. As for politics, I'm afraid I can't provide eye-opening or thought provoking insight, so if that's what you're expecting, you might want to talk with somebody else. Closing statements? No. See ya!
