  1. I'm finally done with this semester. I'm thinking about doing a Normal Monotype run of Reborn. In my opinion Normal is easy type to start with, since it has a good selection of mons right from the beginning, especially if you manage to get both Zigzagoon and Minccino.

I most likely won't create a new topic for it, but instead post some good moments or highlights in form of status updates.

  2. @EtherMoth I assume Toxicroak's Sucker Punch doesn't OHKO? Does your Zebstrika get one-shotted? If not, you could try Flame Charge + Discharge or just use Thunder Wave. What's your usual approach to this battle?
  3. So, apparently there's going to be another Monster Hunter World beta, taking place December 22nd-26th. This time PS+ isn't required.

Good thing I'm on holiday then.

  4. I don't think it's going to be "too late" any time soon.
  5. @Pluto Actually, I messed up. Swinub's location is Bronze Island, not Silver Mountain. Sorry!
  6. IIRC Swinub can be found on the snowy (Silver?) mountain, Phanpy on the other hand can be found in the cave (Route 4) between Blackview and Addenfall
  7. Sweet! If you don't mind, I'd like to place Silvally in A-rank. I might be bit biased, so other points of view are welcome. + Good availability (7th Street) + Jack of all trades: has just the right amount of bulk, power and speed to perform greatly + You can use Memories to switch Silvally's typing on the fly to whatever you might need + Even Normal-type Silvally is very useful because of STAB Explosion (not recommended on Nuzlocke runs, though) - Jack of all trades indeed, but master of none - While learns a decent amount of moves, lack of Swords Dance hurts Silally's usefulness: you can't run Flame Charge + SD- set for the time being.
  8. I was just playing Bloodborne, finally reached Forbidden Woods (yeah, I'm not very good). Before that, however, I went and beat Djura's ass- screw you and your gatling gun!

I still insist that thus far the most difficult boss of the game is Father Gascoigne. He is also the first boss (you can kill Cleric Beast first, but that's optional). I died like 20 times before finally beating him.

I have still yet to play a souls-like game. saving those for when I got my own place and a console that can run them. I've beaten Castlevania's tho, does that count?

@Wolfox I dunno, haven't really played Castlevania games.

depending on the Castlevania, they can be 2d dark souls

  9. Nothing is better than coffee at 5 am after a good night's lack of sleep.

  10. I don't think Sceptilite is in the game yet. You can get Fire Stone by giving some Credits to a scientist in Jinx Lab. There's also evolution item store in Cellia (or whatever the place was called, the town after Blackview).
  11. How about Mantine? Now it can learn Roost, and you can teach it Scald too once you get it (or maybe you already have). Also takes care of your Ground-weakness, at least to an extent. At least it's cuter than Gyarados (I think).
