  2. I'm on a roll today: I just finished Bloodborne. To be fair, I only had to slay the final boss (or final bosses)

  3. Now that I have obtained both Ralts and Beldum and done all side stuff so far (except collecting every Zygarde Cell), this Monotype run has reached it's temporary end. I'll continue this run when V10 is released.

These are the mons I used throughout my run:

  4. @St0mpa That's true. However, it also depends on how early or late in the game the Baton Pass team appears. In the early game when you have less options and overall weaker mons Baton Pass team is more dangerous. The user of Baton Pass team doesn't necessarily have to be a Gym Leader, though. They could even be a character in a sidequest or so.
  5. I defeated the jester duo. Malamar was great in this battle, too. It was a relatively easy battle: even if Aelita's AI isn't particularly smart, her team works as a nice bait at least. I also noticed that they have 2 Bronzongs: one lvl 75 and the other lvl 80.

    Here's the team I used:

I also beat the Dimensional Rift Ferrothorn. That thing has absurd amount of HP, but that can also be it's weakness: It's no longer a Grass-type so Leech Seed works against it. I got ridiculous amounts of HP back, easily over 100 or so. I also paralyzed it with Nuzzle, so basically when it couldn't move, I recovered so much health that it equals to using Hyper Potion.

  6. Now I actually want to see the AI use Baton Pass team, maybe even have a field that helps with it.
  7. I believe it should say "their"
  8. Double the spoons, double the fun:

  9. Flora is rooted out. At first I didn't do so well, because I got her and Florin's teams mixed and thought she leads with Breloom. I lead with Exeggutor, only to find out she has Ferrothorn. So after a quick glance at field effect notes I taught Exeggutor Nature Power: it should turn into Dazzling Gleam and hit Ferrothorn super-effectively (because of the field). That didn't work either, since it still turned into Tri Attack. Then I brought in the gardener, Contrary Malamar, and my gosh this thing did a number on Flora's team. Espeon, Exeggutor and Alakazam did the rest.

What sucks is that I had to bring a mon with Surf, filling one important slot I really wanted to reserve for Oricorio. This is also one of the few times I didn't bring A-Raichu:

  10. @Wolfox I was the guy who stalled with Chansey and Porygon-2. You know what's funny though? Offensive Trick Room P-2 against Dragon teams. Download boosts Sp. Attack and you're ready to sweep.
  11. When banning people isn't enough, put them in a coma. That will teach them:

  12. Electabuzz. Sure, I often evolve it to Electivire, but it kinda pains me to do so. I don't dislike Electivire, I just like Electabuzz more.

    Jump behind it
  14. @Counting-Sinful-Stars When you have filled the bowls, you need to leave and re-enter, make your way back in to the last room (where you drop down to the area with food bowls). Save now, and then try dropping down to the area below. If Gible isn't there, reset and try again. You have to land behind it while it's eating. As for Mirage Tower: after reaching the last room you get taken back outside...or so it seems. If you keep exploring the area, you may find something out of place or odd.
  15. Grass: 31 Electric: 9 Steel: 7 Ground: 13 Ice: 28 Fight: 15 Normal: 14 Ghost: 24 Dark: 20 Bug: 22 Rock: 17 Poison: 13 Hurt Ground, Heal Dark

  17. Erick is short circuited. I actually lost to him once, I got paralyzed and couldn't land the finishing blow. I changed my strategy and that did the trick.

I brought some new mons with me this time around:

I have to say, Lunatone has been really good so far. I have to bench it for the next Leader, though. After that, however, I might bring him along again.

    Dive?

Can't you just get another one from Agate Circus?
  20. Spector wasn't a particularly spooky opponent, since he is completely helpless against Flash (he doesn't seem to have the ability to change the field back to the original).

I let A-Raichu and Espeon do the heavy lifting, while Meowstic provided Light Screen, Reflect and Flash support.

  21. Defeated Amber. I have to admit, this battle didn't exactly go as I had planned. My original idea was to remove the field with Surf, then barrage her team with field-boosted Power Gem. Let's just say that didn't work. Still, I got my badge.

    Here's my team:
