  1. I didn't think I would've been able to defeat Adrienn on my first try, considering that my team was somewhat under-leveled (68-75 range). But that's exactly what I did, thanks to my Defiant Braviary with Tailwind.

  2. The Kek king strikes again! This time OHKOing most of Ciel's team. I think the field boosts to Strength definitely helped, I didn't even know that was a thing.

  3. I didn't think Sawsbuck was that good against Terra. I was mistaken.

    Spoiler

Her Palossand couldn't deal any damage because my Sawsbuck has Sap Sipper. Since Palossand and Garchomp were her only mons left, I used X items while Palossand did nothing. Sawsbuck was faster than Garchomp and OHKO'd it with Double-Edge.

Yes, Rudolf can be scary as hell. That Megahorn in a Gen I environment vs her Claydol too... I'm surprised you haven't kept Jump Kick instead of Leech Seed to be honest, since it isn't bulky enough to work that well with a sustain set! Even though I haven't tried it with Big Root...

I had Nature Power up to this point, and I might teach it again. I taught Leech Seed just to mess with Palossand. Terra doesn't have Claydol anymore.

I guess Diggersby learning Surf isn't the weirdest thing in Pokemon, but it's funny nevertheless.

    PS: Girafarig sucks

@Zargerth Hahaha. Well, size has always been a very complicated topic in Pokemon. It's inconsistent almost all the time. I kinda wish they wouldn't give measurements for Pokemon and just leave them for interpretation. But then we wouldn't have anything to laugh at, now would we?

I'm picturing it and it's waaaaaaaaaaay too much. First of all, that big-ass cushioned belly it possesses will not burst, so the explosion will just happen inside and it'll get digestive problems. Either that, or it'll fly away like a popped balloon.

The exact same message I intended to say. This is just hilarious.

  6. In my first playthrough, I ended up placing my Arbok, Mightyena and Noivern in PC. Then there are the mons I use just to try something out and then never use again, like Sawk. Then again, I haven't really "grown attached" to mons like these. I also tend to eventually drop some mons out of rotation, like Vanillish, Sudowoodo and Octillery in my latest playthrough.
  7. You know what I'm going to do with this, right?

(Judgment didn't hit Raticate at all, it became Psychic-type)

  8. If the reason behind the repetitive use of mons is the fact that Gym Leader and Major Trainers teams are kept (relatively) the same, I can respect that. However, I also have to point out that competitive viability =/= in-game viability. Of course mons like Scizor are good either way, but then (I sound like a broken record by now) there's Silvally: placed in the lowest possible ranking (PU) and yet in Reborn it's easily one of the better mons.
  9. Tfw you train a new mon just for the upcoming gym battle and then you don't even get to use it in that battle.

Noel insisted sending Bewear against my Pyroar. I mean, who am I to complain? That however meant my Toucannon, whom I had raised, did absolutely nothing. Maybe next time.

  10. This duo absolutely wrecked Aya. I couldn't be more proud.

  11. Speaking of Gen VII and changing type, Silvally is in my opinion really good. It's also already available.
  12. You can find both Swinub and Cubchoo in Citrine Mountain. One entrance is near Shade's Gym.
  13. No, perfect IVs and optimal EVs aren't required, although they can certainly help you in several cases. As for natures, it's preferable to have one that lowers a useless stat (like Sp. Attack on Heracross) and boosts another stat (best one/ Speed). Basically both Timid and Modest are the best ones for Meowstic and Special Attackers overall, Jolly, Adamant (Physical Attackers) or Impish for Drapion. Wild Charge is in Tourmaline Desert iirc, so you can't find it just yet. Granbull, Escavalier and Florges are good choices against Luna, so you might want to use them.
  14. Man, I can't wait for Strength. Then I can finally get rid of inaccurate and unreliable Take Down.

  15. Am I the only one bothered by this? I mean, Radomus and Luna both have Malamar, and they're right next to one other in order. Why not give Radomus Beheeyem instead for example? I guess my point is that it gets boring to see the same mons over and over again, and from what I understand, all of them run similar sets too. Maybe I'm just nitpicking. What are your opinions on this?

  19. I managed to slay both Micolash and Logarius (in Bloodborne). Yeah, today has been great so far.

  20. It might depend on which gang you joined, but I found the blast powder guy in the library.
  21. That didn't work, and now the girl from the third floor has disappeared.
  22. @Giratina If you're willing to level up new Pokemon, Sawk with Sturdy can survive Psychic and in return OHKO with Close Combat/ Reversal. Have you tried Swoobat and setting up with Calm Mind? I don't know how much damage Thunderbolt does after +2 Special Defense buff.
