  4. One of the reasons why Silvally is so good is that it's very flexible. Most Memories are obtainable too, so you have plenty to choose from.

    Blizzard!

Afaik Blizzard isn't obtainable yet, also Blizzard hits opponents only so I don't know what Telepathy has anything to do with this.
  6. Iron Head, Poison Jab and Gunk Shot are pretty common at least in the sense that several mons can learn at least one of those moves. Sort of off-topic and ironic for me to say, but looks like we need Hurt & Heal: Feelings edition.
  7. Keep it Normal-type, teach Explosion and you're good to go.
  8. My bad, it's actually Old Rod, but you get it by talking to a fisherman in one of the houses by the dock / southern part of Blackview
  9. Iirc you can find Good Rod in Blackview City.
  10. Since Redux seems to be direct continuation from Hardcore, I assumed we would find Exp Share and Lucky Egg early on too. Since that was no longer the case, I got a bit worried tbh. At first my progress was such a slog, but as soon as I got me a second mon, everything just started falling into place. It turned out there was no need for Exp Share or Lucky Egg: 5/6 of my mons reached level 20 with minimal grinding (I had to get one level up for my Bidoof on wild Pokemon, does that even count?) by the time I had defeated Julia. The fact that regular trainers have more and higher lvl mons contributed to this. Speaking of the regular trainers, there seems to be some repetition there: the elemental monkeys as well as Hoothoot for example seem to be recurring mons. Not a big deal, it just makes the trainers feel "samey". Maybe it's because I was prepared, but I found Lunatone and Solrock less troublesome than Elekid and Magby why is that Elekid so tanky . If Lunatone and Solrock are to be nerfed, I guess Rock Slide can be replaced with Rock Tomb or Smack Down (but they're both single target moves) or even Bulldoze (kind of a double-edged sword, since it synergizes with Lunatone or Solrock only). I actually battled Julia in Master mode/format straight away, so I don't know what her team is like in Singles or Doubles, but I have to say I liked Master quite a lot. It's been a long time since I played Hardcore, but I feel like Master is what Hardcore was lacking in terms of changes to teams and strategy. If people with Grass-type starters are experiencing problems with this battle, maybe Charjabug could be replaced with Chinchou or the recently added A-Geodude? Tbh I was a bit surprised there wasn't more of that Discharge "spam" going on, what with most Electric-types having abilities that synergize with it.
  11. Now that you have gained adequate power, you too can unlock the secret weapon:
  12. @Dorcas My face when Normal died Join me Bibs, and I'll make Poison the greatest type in Reborn
  13. Well, if it's any indication, Shade's ace was changed from Chandelure to Mimikyu, yet Noel's ace Clefable remains the same despite the fact that it's no longer Normal-type, I wouldn't bet on it changing any time soon, if at all.
  14. @dotahkin01 Nostra and Nomos are the dolls.
  15. @Alistair On the other hand, if favorites are never hurt the winner of the game is obvious right from the beginning. Also, how do you differentiate between genuine choice and teaming up? There are no other rules restricting how to play, so anything goes. If there was a rule that you can't hurt the same type twice in a row or more than X points in a day, chances are the game would have been very different.
  16. Did you use Smart Strike on Escavalier too, or just Drill Run? Either way, I agree with you on both that seeds are really useful and that learning how to use her field is the key factor here.
  17. Evolve your Ponyta and Tyrunt. Ponyta/Rapidash learns Fire Blast at lvl 41, so with a common candy you can make Rapidash obey you again, and now you have a powerful STAB move at your disposal. I guess Luxray is your best bet against Rotom, I'd save Venusaur for later. In my opinion Togetic isn't particularly useful in this battle, if it manages to deal some chip damage that's good enough. You can Gabite for the same purpose, I think.
  18. Grass: 7 Ice: 7 Bug: 13 Poison: 11 Hurt Bug, Heal Poison
  19. Don't you find 2 Electrizers and Magmarizers already? One of both when you fix the stairs to Calcenon, Electrizer from the back room of Abandoned Power Plant and Magmarizer in Chrysolia Spring. Edit: ninja'd
  20. @DaveLovesKrave Hard to say, but if you ask me there's going to be a status update instead of actual content.
  21. The opening post doesn't say "once in 24 hours", so I'm assuming a date change is enough.
