  1. You've all been asked at some point how you found Reborn. But what keeps you coming back? The amazing people I've met here. Especially the ones I can't reach elsewhere, but sleepless nights are much more fun when I can talk to people on the server for a while. I'm also still very emotionally invested in the game itself, hah. What is your favorite kind of potato? All of them? Uh, I guess I eat them mashed more often than not, but potatoes are good. Now I'm hungry...
  2. 23/02/16 - Should this still be a thing? Do you guys answer this at all? I do :c Well, unless I'm in a general phase of not posting, or if I have absolutely nothing interesting to say about it.
  3. so in other news, my brother-in-law had a car accident. Thank goodness he's all right.

  4. Hi there, and welcome to Reborn~ We sure hope you'll enjoy your stay, because you'll kinda not be allowed to leave now that you've set foot in here. But it's okay. We've got uh... the whole bunch of us! Our company is a fair price for your freedom, right? I'm currently studying to be a teacher myself, so if you do end up doing that, I'll be here to welcome you to the club c: What subjects would you want to study? (Geo/English here) . I ain't correcting this bc I'm meant to be doing homework (Hehe) Go do your homework >:c
  5. The question was stuck under the grand staircase and therefore lost in time. Ame found it by pure accident when fixing Obsidia.
  6. I feel that we're probably going to see Victoria again in E16. Not only because we saw her briefly at the waterfall when we were on our way to the sewer adventure, but also because it just seems so typically Victoria to be around for the city renovation. She's always so eager to help, it just seems logical to me that she would be involved in the clean-up. It'll be nice to see her again, that's for sure.
  7. Jasper is my favourite ward, and I'll actually be kind of sad to see it all cleaned up and shiny, haha. I love everything about its atmosphere especially when you enter it for the very first time. When I first played the game, just having beaten Florinia and received the mission to check out Jasper and Beryl, the feeling I got when entering the place was all eerie and intense. All you know is that those wards have been fucked up worse than Obsidia, and there's no telling what you'll find there. The music is absolutely perfect, my favourite part of the soundtrack. I liked how the whole ward was set up, with cracks in the concrete everywhere, and how entire buildings were overgrown and crushed by the plant growth. And the forest! I'm one of those people who miss the Obsidia Park map as it was before E15, because the whole idea of literally having to stumble through a forest before getting to the root of the issue seemed really cool. I'll be curious to see what has been done to Jasper since we've last been there, but I think I like it best in its destroyed state.
  8. You'll be surprised by the Department stores, the former Yureyu building and some other changes. But especially that Yureyu building. While the residences kept their previous colours, I personally think Obsidia overall looks less bleak now, or at least from what I've seen on stream before I went to sleep because damnit it was 6am
  9. But the real question is, did you remember the fountain corner
  10. "computerchippy"

  11. I could probably write a long post about all the things that I value in another person and which not, but I'll try not to ramble too much. Hah. Plus, a lot has already been said by others here. (Scarlet's list in particular is a good one; I agree with everything on there, so there's that.) The most important thing I expect from a partner is that they can accept me as the person I am. This doesn't mean that I want them to tolerate bad behavior, or expect them to sit idly by if I am acting like a goddamn idiot. What I mean is simply someone whose idea of me being the best I can be is not to change some of the core aspects of who I am. It sounds simple, but it really isn't, for me at least. I'm so used to hiding parts of my personality, parts of my views, parts of my interests, just so people would accept me. Learning how to openly be myself again has taken and still is taking a massive amount of effort, and I know I can't allow myself to be in a relationship that would encourage me to hide myself again. A good partner would be someone who is a good listener. Someone who I can open up to about things, and who will make an effort to understand my position, even if it differs from theirs. Someone who can acknowledge my feelings and ideas as valid, even if they don't feel the same. Similarly, I want my partner to be honest and open towards me, too, and will do my best to be the same kind of good listener to them. I'm someone who does happen to carry around a fair amount of problems. A good partner to me would be patient and caring, but not someone who tries to play therapist with me. It's not my partner's job to fix me or to try to find solutions to my issues, but they can support the endeavors I make and give me encouragement and feedback. I don't need anybody to carry me, but it's comforting to know I don't walk the road alone. Sharing some interests is a must. Sharing all would not only be impossible, but probably very uncomfortable. I feel happy when I can share something I care about a lot with those who are close to me, so having a couple of common interests to bond over and enjoy together is very important to me. And as silly as it may sound, one of these things has to be fiction/writing. Writing is far too important to me and who I am to be swept aside by the closest person in my life. I've learned from experience that while I'm not picky about every other interest I have, this one is something I cannot make compromises for. Someone who can't share my enthusiasm for fiction will never be able to understand me as a person. I've been shaped a lot by the things I created, and someone who doesn't know what it feels like to be a creator inevitably misses out on a defining part of my personality. Been there before. And nothing beats the feeling of being able to share this interest with someone, to let them be part of it and work on my projects with me (or the other way round!). There's a reason I'm so close with my writer friends. It's a special kind of magic, really. Okay, that was probably already more than I should've said. Whoops. One last thing, though: They better be fond of animals, because I'm not gonna bother with someone who's an asshole to them.

  13. The police mission can still be completed after you defeat Taka and ZEL. The difference between completing it before and after is that you get an extra story piece in the former case. What do you mean by the Growlithe not being there when you enter the library? That sounds rather strange, because there's no set order in which you need to find them, so no matter how many you already found, Growlithe should be in the room. Are you sure you were in the right place and have not found the person/interacted with Growlithe already? Can you maybe show us a screenhot? PS: the sticker event is part of the house with the broken lift, the policeman is in the other
  14. LUMI! Y'know, people drawing Zero, Eve and Lumi in their actual bodies is a trend I would love to see. I mean, fair enough, you won't find the girls' sprites unless you do some real digging, but they're cute ;A; <3 She's adorable, I think you just made my day~ That said, Tania's expression is hilarious, I love it. It's the last thing you see before certain death c:
  15. My dad likes Rock and some genres of Metal, so as a kindergarten kid I really enjoyed the likes of Uriah Heep, Rammstein and the Scorpions. Lady In Black by Uriah Heep was my favourite song until my teens (and I still love it). I also remember the one or other Nightwish song, though I honestly don't know if it was my dad or my sister who was into that. As a teenager I had a brief phase where I listened a lot to German Punk Rock, which I'll blame my sister for. Alarmsignal, Fahnenflucht, WIZO, Terrorgruppe, and of course also Die Toten Hosen. Eventually my preferences shifted a little more to Melodic Hardcore, like Strike Anywhere, Ignite, Pennywise, or the older Rise Against stuff. I got back into Metal again when I was around 14/15. I'd never stopped listening to the bands I liked as a child, but started finding more, and different bands and genres to enjoy. Equilibrium are one of the first bands that caught my interest, and eventually I got into Power Metal. Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, Helloween, Edguy, Keldian, those sorts of things. And then my first boyfriend got me into Death Metal and I discovered the joy that is Melodeath. Scar Symmetry is my favourite band by far. Soilwork. Disarmonia Mundi, Dark Tranquillity, Akrea, At The Gates, Arch Enemy... Good stuff. Very good. That said, of course I listen to other genres as well. Listing absolutely everything I like would take too darn long. But I guess if I gotta mention some others I enjoy, that'd include Celldweller, Pendulum, Enya, Madonna, Phil Collins, Two Steps From Hell, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Nero... For most things, I enjoy the music more superficially. The Metal scene is the only music-based subculture I am and have ever been part of. It's a good one, though! I like my annual share of festivals and concerts, it's a great way for me to meet other people without the intent of staying in contact.
  16. Oi! Happy Birthday, Nas! I don't think we've ever had a private conversation, but you're fun to talk to / fool around with on the server. Have a good one, man. And don't forget to share the cake!
  17. Besides having significantly less responsibilities? I miss wanting/buying/getting things and not caring about whether or not I deserve them.
  18. Holy. Shit. If I didn't know too well how effing long it takes to draw stuff I'd probably say that you should just draw all the Reborn characters ever, but of course, I won't do that. I'm a civilized and self-restrained person who definitely doesn't fawn over people's art too much. ...But seriously, that Radomus. Was gonna say "I'm in love" but like, with the art. Then decided that maybe the wording is just too unfortunate.
  19. HERZLICHEN GLÜCKWUNSCH WENDELEL! I fell asleep early yesterday so I didn't get to send a weird midnight message or something :c But I hope you'll have CAKE and a great day mkay? You're one of my fave persons here and I hope you know that.
  20. I think the discussion here is a good example of how that episode did exactly what Ame hoped it would do - look at us talking about whether or not the Meteors deserved it, whether or not we care about what happened to them, and how much or little it bothered us to see Tania killing them like that. It's meant to make us think about the morality of the situation, and by extension, the entire war. IMO Tania's and Taka's entire dialogue about this is meant to show us that there is no cookie-cutter-clean divide between "good and evil", and that people on any side of a conflict are capable and willing to do things that others would consider immoral. Reborn frequently portrays gray vs. grey morality. Characters like Saphira or Titania are on "our side" as far as the story is concerned, but good isn't always nice. The thing that many of the characters who either kill or tolerate killing have in common here is that they think they're the good guys. They think they're doing this for the greater good. In E15, both Tania and Taka think what they're doing is helping the "right" side to win, even though they both acknowledge that their methods aren't good. What Tania does is pointing out that she doesn't think Meteor can successfully be fought if you keep playing nice. We've already seen that characters like Solaris and Sirius don't play by the rules. They're not going to give up just because they occasionally get defeated in a couple of battles. It's a set-back to them, but they're not gonna take it as a cue to stop their endeavours. Tania realized this, and decided that she's not going to bother with diplomacy that'll likely be wasted. I love E15 and the whole sewer adventure for this kind of moral ambiguity. Also, I very much liked the underlying frustration Tania shows at Taka's inability to turn his back on Meteor. He's doing/tolerating things he doesn't really want to do, reasoning that he has to for a greater reason. I think Tania can identify with this a lot.
  21. Noctowl not being Flying/Psychic bugs me to this day. I know we got Xatu and Lugia in the same Gen, but it's not like they're carefully trying to avoid having too many 'mons with the same typing (sorry, can't hear you over the sound of all the Bug/Flying types). Or, y'know, Flying/Dark, with a matching movepool, since it's an owl and Gen II introduced the Dark type... no? Oh, ok... I'm so glad Gen VI ended the whole "generic bird must be normal type" streak.
  22. Aaah, I've seen your art (well some of what you posted) on tumblr! Apparently forgot to hit that follow button, though, oops. I must correct this now. I love that art, it's always so nice to see scenery/backgrounds. Really like the Chatot and Vanhanen Castle ones, and it's so cool to see El art <3
  23. I only turn the TV on for two things: Eurovision and soccer. And for soccer I prefer radio.
  24. If you play as NB and meet Adrienn, Adrienn and Radomus will explain the whole NB thing and Cain will say something along the lines of how that must be why your PC is so cute. Or at least that's how I remember it *shrugs*
  25. I do not care about completing the Pokédex much, oops. Currently 52h on my mono
