I can't describe how ridiculously confused I feel now. At first I was triumphant because I was like "HA, Steel will wreck this shit", then I started doubting if I remembered the type advantages correctly (I doubt my memory a lot) and went to look it up, then apparently misread the type table for the opposite and got weirded out. tl;dr regular Steel user second-guessed her knowledge and suffered an amazing moment of stupidity when checking things. Maybe I should just have listened to my brain the first time and I could have avoided spilling all these spaghetti. I don't even know WHY I doubt

Will those moves terminate the field, though? I use the Mamoswine + Mist trick often enough, but will it always work? Haven't worked much with those moves before I started playing Reborn, so if the answer is obvious, apologies. I'm quite happy about that never-miss 2x damage Mirror Shot, since it somewhat makes up for the fact that Steel isn't effective against Ice.

At the cost of 50% of your (and your opponents') Pokemon's HP tho. ...Which, for the record, I think is really cool, because we actually get punished for destroying the field, and it makes sense, considering it's mirrors, and shattering mirrors is a mess. Still, personally I would rather sacrifice one of my Pokemon to break this thing, than to fight a whole battle on it, me thinks.

I like this. I like this a LOT. Oh shiiiiiiet. On the other hand, if Mamoswine gets an evasion boost thanks to Snow Cloak and then terminated the field with Earthquake, it might be worth it. The thing has so much HP... This field looks so darn interesting, really can't wait to try fighting on it. Honestly, I think this is my favourite of the new ones, it's darn creative <3 EDIT: And holy shit, so we can have Larvesta and Sneasel now? Dayum.

Day 255: Amplified Magikarp's powers to the max. Test subject Bounced into planetary orbit. Fighting Arceus in this field as an eventual final boss would be pretty neat though. Can very well imagine the Pokégod deciding to give the player a final test. Guess it'd feel quite disgruntled to get woken up by a bunch of people quarreling over whether or not to initiate the apocalypse.

Well, it could be a possibility that the presence of Eve and Lumi has influnced the physical apearance; either biologically (this is the Pokemon world, I stopped questioning possibilities when Bill turned into a Clefairy) or in terms of gender presentation. From what I read on this thread, discussion-wise, people seemed to agree that an androgynous look was a good possible take on them, which I personally agre with. Their versus sprite is an edited version of Grimsley's, so as of now I've p much told my friend that if I can't find out anyhing, they could work with that. Grimsley's not exactly the most masculine male either, so perhaps it's kinda like that with Zero. Though the full-body sprite honestly had me thinking of ZEL as biologically female for the whole game up until that point in Ametrine. I feel a bit shy about messaging anyone directly, since it's more of a, uh, frivolous matter, not a game problem or anything. [nervous noises]

@Eluria: Only for plural use. The word is "sie", like the female 3rd person singular, and for that reason it's impossible to use as an equivalent to they.
@Generalguy: Oh dear, considering I'm already in therapy for Borderline and Major depression, maybe I should try not to have DID added to the list. Or get in PULSE accidents. Especially not the latter.

Hmm, so I hope this is the right place to ask, buuut I am going to commission a friend of mine for art soon, and one of the pieces I was gonna ask her to draw was ZEL with one of the Eeveelutions. Thought I'd look through here if there's any fanart of them to be found, since the game sprites are rather tiny for a ref, and I really shouldn't make an artist who never played the game try to figure out how the charries are supposed to look like. Dragon. Oh god I hate facing Dragon pokemon in battle. I trained Altaria and Noivern, but both are part Flying, which is one of my two favourite Types. I trained a Flygon because it happened to be a shiny. But... Naw, man. Dragon trainers are my biggest enemies because I don't usually train types that they are weak against. If I'm lucky, I have a water type on my team that knows one or two good Ice moves.

I am genuinely terrified. Though I guess it's nice that Psychic attacks get boosted while Dark attacks decrease in power; not gonna complain about anything that helps my Espeon. Still, the prospect of possibly fighting Dittoceus again on this or something... Welp.
