"Life is all about challenges. There’s no point in living if there’s no one strong to play; It’s better if I can’t win." - Taiga Kagami from Kuroko no Basuke
Kuroko no Basuke is the best basketball manga that I have read. I like the concept of its story wherein it showed a former Junior High team getting separated from each other, but they become closer and remember the times they've had through basketball. The main character, Kuroko, is definitely not the flashy type; he's even not noticeable. His teamwork with the deuteragonist, Kagami, allows for better story telling, as they both have goals they want to achieve, and they achieve it by working with each other. The basketball scenes were also great, considering that all of the former mates of Kuroko have special abilities; I like the way that each fight with another team shows different strategies and is simply not a one sided battle. I also like the relationship of Kuroko, and his former mates, and the ending of it all was definitely the best. Overall, this manga is a good read/ watch if anime, not only for basketball fans, but for anyone who doesn't know it much. (I learned about basketball's rules because of this)

@ProjectIceman Midorima's 3 Point Shot is quite hard to do. If only people had that special ability....
@Another Retired Shipper Yeah. I have read Haikyuu but I haven't read the latest 20+ chapters yet. Will get back to it if I can

Romance / school mangas seems to follow this pattern:
- 1st year: The distance between the main characters closes, then opens, the closes and they begin to date
- 2nd year: The couple faces difficulties, but they solve it by remembering their love for each other
- 3rd year: They decide on their career paths, and support each other
This is present in quite a few of the romance/school life extensive mangas, and I like the way this is portrayed.

@DemICE Yeah, that one. The transfer student can either enter in the middle of the first year of in the beginning of the second year. They can be potential lovers (but get rejected anyway) or become friends with the characters. In either way, they help progress the relationship of the main couple.

You mentioned about using FE memes as your profile pic sometime back in a status. Have you done Gheb or Excellus already?

"There is no good and evil, there is only power, and those too weak to seek it." - Professor Quirrell from Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone
Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone is the first part of the Harry Potter series. This novel was a great start for the series and opened up a lot of possibilities for the next installments. As everyone knows, the main character is Harry Potter, who's considered as really special because of being a survivor of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's (Lord Voldemort's) Attack when he was still a baby. This focuses on his education as a Wizard in the prestigious Hogwarts Academy, as he interacts with his soon to be best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Of course, his life would truly not be a mundane one, as he is caught up with Lord Voldemort and his evil plans. Still, he manages to conquer the challenges presented before him, with the help of his friends, and they manage to clear the First Year of their education in Hogwarts with colors. I loved this book's lightheartedness as a first book and it's continuous entertainment with the different parts of the book, and I especially loved the last areas, involving the Sorceror's Stone and Harry's encounter with Voldemort in that scene.

I'm currently reading Kimi ni Todoke, and I find it be quite sweet, refreshing, and romantic. This is one of the reasons why I like romance/school life manga. <3
