"Well you only need the light when it's burning low
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow
Only know you love her when you let her go
Only know you've been high when you're feeling low
Only hate the road when you're missing home
Only know you love her when you let her go
And you let her go"
- from Let Her Go by Passenger
Well, first of all, I like the song Let Her Go for its seemingly sad tune and the good instrument playing in the background which makes the message even more emphasized. What I got from this song is that he regrets having let go of a girl he loved, that he only realizes that he really loved her when he let her go. It goes to show that you only realize the true value of someone when that person goes away and leaves you behind, and that you shouldn't wait for that person to be broken and damaged before you actually give your care for a person. I also got that love (you can consider any other value though) is something that is hard to earn/have, but it goes so fast/passes by so fast. It simply means that you shouldn't waste opportunities that are given to you because these kinds of opportunities don't come to you always, and at times, even if it does come, it's not as beautiful as it was in a past experience. It shows how we could clearly live life happily and meaningfully by appreciating someone's value actively and by making use of the opportunities that are given to you.

Since it is @Godot's birthday, I decided to make today's Quote of the Day a tribute to Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations, my favorite game in the franchise, and I'll be sharing quotes relating to Prosecutor Godot, the most memorable person in the game.
Top conversation EVER:
Godot: I'm Godot. Legendary prosecutor. I've never lost a case.
Judge: Yes, your reputation precedes you. What kind of cases have you dealt with so far?
Godot: Ha...! None.
Judge: What did you say...?
Godot: I've never prosecuted a case before
Judge: N-Never? But you said you've never lost before.
Godot: ...Exactly. I've never lost. I've never won before either.
Inspirational Quotes:
"The true measure of a man is in the amount of work he does. That's what I always say." - Godot
"We can't see the demons that lurk in the night... That's why humans are weak." - Godot
"...To err is human, to forgive, divine. Humans aren't machines... they have souls, feelings. They live, they die, they love, they hate... And yes, they even make mistakes..." - Godot
Coffee Quotes:
"Blacker than a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself... That is coffee." - Godot
"A single drop of milk is all it takes to destroy the pure black magic in the cup!" - Godot
Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations was a really good game for me due to its great story which was well connected and the dynamic characters that were in it. Its story was centered on Phoenix Wright, Mia Fey, and Godot/Diego Armando which explored both their pasts and their present. In the main story/present timeline, Godot comes off as a prosecutor who has a form of hatred towards Phoenix Wright. Phoenix Wright feels that Godot is someone familiar to him, but he can't exactly place where he saw/met him. As the story goes further, we get to see more sides of Godot aside from being simply someone who liked coffee overly much; we get to see that he is actually Diego Armando, the former partner of Mia Fey and Phoenix's mentor, and because of a certain case in the past involving Phoenix, he fell into a deep coma and only awoke after years and after Mia died because of being murdered. We learn that he takes out his anger on Phoenix for not being able to protect Mia, but he later on reveals that he thinks that Phoenix has done well to keep her legacy. We also see how he cares for Mia's family, that he even went and murdered someone who threatened Mia's sister Maya's life (although he claims that he did it simply for his own, he still did save Maya's life). We see how he grows from someone who had a biased form of hatred to someone who realizes that revenge is not really the way to cherish a loved one's death. There are a lot of other things involved in the plot such as Phoenix's past, but you should play the game to appreciate it very much. Overall, this game was my favorite in the series, for its deep and complex story, and how it connected each character's past to the present.

"You don’t get to choose when or who you meet. However, you do get to choose who you hold on to." - from The Girl who leapt through Time
"Time waits for no one." - the tagline from the same movie
The Girl who leapt through Time was a good coming-of-age movie which incorportated Time Travel as an element in its story.
Its story focuses on Makoto Konno, who suddenly finds a device which allows her to travel back in time. Initially, she uses the device for mundane things like enjoying more karaoke, getting perfect scores in tests, and avoiding accidents to her, but she later on uses it to avoid a confession from one of her close friends Chiaki. She later realizes that her time traveling can affect others negatively, while she also realizes that her 'time leaps' are limited and she tries to fix everything she has broken by going back several times. As it turns out, two of her friends ride on her faulty bike, but because of having used her last leap, they get hit by a train; luckily, Chiaki manages to save everything because he actually is the person who brought the time travel device and he is from the future actually. Unfortunately, he has to leave because someone from the past knows about this secret; Makoto realizes that she actually likes him and confesses, and they both promise to see each other in the future, with Makoto looking forward to the future.
I like the beautiful graphics of this movie as it deeply enhanced the story; its message regarding time travel was quite vital as it told me that even if you could time travel and change things, you can't change the nature of fate. This means that if you try to escape being hit by a fire, this will be instead passed on to another person; thus, you sacrifice the welfare of others when you try to make your life better by time travelling. I also liked how Makoto changed over the story from an immature person to someone who has learned from experience and decides to pursue a path for herself.

I don't even know what my friends means when she keeps saying that, "Life is a beautiful massacre."
