Well, I also had that problem, so I just reverted to V8 and buy linkhearts from Route 3. If you want to try this solution, make sure to not bring any Gen 7 mon in your party since you can't revert if you do so.

Day One Most of the mages settled in the various bedrooms in the Mansion of Despair; some hid carefully as to not be found while others tried to contact their inner magical affinity and charge some magic power. Some others could not settle and decided to visit other mages either due to suspicion, or perhaps to satisfy curiosity. The evil mages had already completed their plan for the night and thus, they began to set their plan in place. They were not letting the good mages win not now, not ever, and what better way to begin their destruction by reducing their numbers and casting the die of suspicion on them all? ~~~~~ Jace Stormkirk was one of the mages who was not part of the 'most' in the mages who had stayed in the bedrooms. Instead, he had decided to be in the Courtyard, near the large fountain adorned with beautiful flowers at its side. He was singing songs of his adventure and journeys through the lands, singing tales of friendship and cameraderie. He, of course, wanted to be a bard, one to cheer up the group and bring energy to it, but alas, he was born to be a Blue Mage, one only 'Learning' skills from others who visited him. Perhaps, it wasn't the right kind of vocation he wanted as a mage, but he was still glad that he learned different kinds of magic from his journeys inside and outside the kingdom. However, in this Mansion of Death, all his abilities save for his Bard magic was sealed. Despite this, he figured that the best thing to do was wait somewhere where he could be seen. This way, someone, a good mage, maybe, could visit him and allow him to learn an ability to increase his chances of survival. A couple of minutes passed and someone did arrive to visit Jace Stormkirk. "It is I, Jace Stormkirk, Blue Mage, Learner of Magic, what is it that I can do for you? Perhaps you have come to help ascertain my victory?" Jace Stormkirk inquired to the person. "Learner of Magic? Oh dear, this time, you shall learn death!" The mystery figure told and struck the Blue Mage with a Petrify spell. ~~~~~ "Mages, wake up, wake up! I've decided that you all must gather in the Courtyard instead of the Conference Room today." Monsieur Fate's resounded over the entire residence. "It is the place of the crime after all." The mages immediately gathered in the Courtyard and were met with shock when they saw Jace Stormkirk, the Blue Mage, petrified in place at the front of the fountain. One of the mages checked the body and said that the Petrify spell cast on him was impossible to revert; he was a lost cause. One of them muttered, "I'm surprised the supposedly 'backup' mage fell first..." One of the mages then separated himself from the crowd and told the others, "I'm afraid we have to play the Game of Death. This is a serious matter, and I'm afraid losing is not an option for those of us from the side of Good. We must discover the murderers of this good man!" Monsieur Fate then intervened, "Well, this is a good development. Then, let the Class Trial - erm, I mean - let the Day Phase begin!" Jace Stormkirk is dead. He was the good Blue Mage. ====== Day One has begun. It will last for 48 hours. Begin discussing about the Night's events, who are possible Evil mages, and share your ideas! Charmander is not found as an event or in the wild. You'll have to pick it as a starter if you'd like to have it on your team.

I think it's worth restarting if you want to see how the events and the maps have changed from V8 to V9. You may decide, however, to continue with that run, and after completing V9 content, make another save with V9.

I believe Wimpod is unobtainable in V9 while Wishiwashi is taken from the Mystery egg. I have no idea where Dewdiper is.

Um, I'm no mobile rn and am going to sleep, but I believe the file is in: Local Drive C > Users > [The user you're using to play the game] > Saved Games > Pokemon Rejuvenation > Game.rxdata Rename Game.rxdata to any other name and pick the latest back-up [it should be the one with the highest digits] and rename that file to Game.rxdata.

I don't think there's a way out in that instance. I also experienced that and I decided to load a previous save instead.

He wasn't accustomed to someone destroying his beauty rest; after all, he lived alone out in the woods. Wait - he lived alone, so why was there someone who woke him up? He did a quick 180 of his surroundings and noticed that he wasn't at his comfortable small home at all. He saw glass windows adorning the pristine white wall, chandeliers lighting up the room, and a comfortable carpet on the floor that he was laying in. He noticed that there were others standing around the room as well; they looked as if they were inspecting it clearly. Clearly, he was somewhere else, but where? Who were these people around him? How did they end up here? What is happening? Just then, a face appeared on the large monitor screen in the center of the room. "Mic test. Mic test. Now that our dear Green Mage is up, I'll be taking the point of view from here ~ This is Monsieur Fate, your host and announcer for the Game of Death!" All of the people, er mages, in the room let out different reactions when they saw and heard Monsieur Fate. "What is this Game of Death?!" "Why are we here?" "Let us out!!!" "I demand a magic lawyer!" "I have kids!" "DEEZ NUTZ!" "Lolololololol." "Shush." Monsieur Fate interrupted. Immediately, everyone else became silent, awaiting the mysterious figure's response. He then began to speak in a serious tone. "You all know that the kingdom of Magistelle has been under war due to two different factions for millenia now, right? Those mages who advocated the use of magic for progress and betterment of society formed the faction 'On The Side Of Good' while those who sought to use magic for dominion and glory formed the faction 'On The Side Of Evil', and these two factions have continued to fight, neither able to vanquish and destroy the other faction completely." "Well, everyone is fed up of this war. It's caused casualties on both sides and it's wasted a lot of firepower, time, and energy which could have been used for other purposes." Monsieur Fate continued. "Thus, your faction leaders have decided to settle this once and for all in the Game of Death. Winner takes all; loser has to leave and be in exile or surrender to the other. Now, how does this concern you? Each of you here are representatives from either of these two factions, well, there are some who aren't on either side and have different intentions, but that doesn't matter, right~? Your numbers aren't equal, of course. Those On The Side Of Evil mages are comparatively few, but they know each other while those On The Side Of Good mages are a lot, but they can't really be sure who's on their side. Every Night, you may each use your given abilities, while those On The Side Of Evil target someone from the other faction. At Day, you all will be staying here in this Conference Room, discussing and trying to find out who is On The Side Of Evil. You all will also cast votes to decide the person I will vanquish for the Day." "You all will be staying in this Mansion of Despair for the duration of the Game of Death, well, until one of your faction wins. Not all of you will leave alive though. ~" Monsieur Fate told, his tone cheerful and playful. "So, tonight you may stay anywhere in the residences; try to not get murdered though.~" The room was silent for a moment until one mage screamed and ran away from the room, "AAAAAHH! SOME OF YOU ARE BLOODY MURDERERS!" The room became chaotic after that outburst. "NOOO! I will live!" "MAMA MIA!" "Dang it!" "I see fire~" All of the 14 remaining mages in the room ran away from the room and sought refuge somewhere else. Most went alone due to not trusting anyone, but four of them gathered in the Master Bedroom. "It's time to mix things up." The Nightshade told the other three. "Don't worry, we'll win the Game of Death. Those 'good' mages don't stand a chance." ====== Night Zero has begun. It will last for 24 hours. Isn't Damien the name of dark gym leader who was also turned into stone? It appears he's looking for Krystal, the one who helped us back in V8... I'm not sure what their relationship is though...
