  1. Quite interested... hoping the themes are creative and unique
  2. Played a Mafia game and got Oracle. Got killed Night Two, BUT not without unveiling Mafia Roleblocker and making Janitor's Night Action useless.

Sounds like a role well played!

Yeah. I had my eye on one of the players who seemed suspicious and as it turns out, they also had an eye/plan to kill me. It turned out well; sacrificed was okay.

  3. Late, but belated Happy Birthday, Hycrox!
  4. Frederick paid attention to the ornately decorated door which Gina opened. He immediately realized that this was the door his professor father had mentioned to him quite a few times years before. This was a unique door, one which seemed to divert attention away from itself, mostly due to leading to a room supposedly restricted to students and lower ranked employees. Aside from being told by his father to keep away from it if he ever noticed it in his school life, he didn't know anything else regarding the insides of the room nor what purpose it served. After staring for a bit at the door, he turned to the two mysterious people who greeted them when Gina opened the strange door. He was quite fascinated at their get-up and was quite curious as to their roles in the Academy. They seemed to be important people of sorts. Although he was curious, Frederick decided to hold his tongue. It probably wasn't best to speak up yet.
  5. Sigh... I tend to slack off when there's a homework that involves drawing.

@Candy Hmm, sounds interesting, though not really my discipline. But I wish you the best of luck! Like you said, there are more enjoyable things

  6. Hm... seems like timezone is my main issue here... oh well, I'll just try to catch up in the latter hours.
  7. Heh... one of the skills I'm good at is looking cool... in my thoughts.

  8. Happy Birthday, CG! Hope you have a great day!
  9. Happy Birthday, Inuki! Hope you have a great day!
  10. Wait... if you didn't suspect HUEnd... why did you roleblock him on Night One? You're welcome I may try to host another one on July, but that is still unsure due to the possibility of being busy.
  11. Well, that 5:1 late game good-evil ratio was already hard as it is; there was quite a good chance either Black Mage and Red Mage (who had successfully charged the previous night) would take a good shot at you or the others (and proving only their innocence), so for still getting some people to side on you, still quite impressive in and of itself.
  12. Night Three The third Day Phase was a day filled with turmoil for everyone. Role claims were given by most of the mages and while there was a chance that at least one of those role claims was a lie, no one questioned the role claim since no one dared to counterclaim any of the given roles. Suspicions were divided between Twin Aero, one of whom was thought to be the Black Void due to having allegedly been silenced in the first Day Phase, and Another Retired Shipper, who was hardly active and felt ultra suspicious. Both of which dared not uttered their role due to the two roles left to be unclaimed: Black Void and Dark Seer. It was understandable, of course; both of which, if claimed, would not allow either party to gain their win condition, thus, they kept silent, and didn't dare tell their role. Thus, the votation was split between the two parties, each person picking a side, each one with hopes in their minds. "It appears to be that Another Retired Shipper has received the most amount of votes." Monsieur Fate told the mages. "However, due to having charged successfully the previous two nights, and skipping out on votation the previous day, his special skill as the..... BLACK VOID counts his vote for today as four votes, and our dear Twin Aero gets the axe instead. I question why he voted for Twin Aero when he could have simply voted for himself before this Day Phase ended and instantly win, but he gave that up. Oh well, Twin Aero approach the stand." Twin Aero approached the stand, his expression calm. "Well, I expected an execution sooner or later either a lynch by Day or a kill at Night. I am far too restricted due to me only being the only one left among the evil mages, and there being five of you, each with the potential to reveal my position. Well played, I suppose. Monokuma, I am ready." Some of the mages appeared to be surprised. They didn't expect Twin Aero to be the Dark Seer at all. "Does that mean you faked your silence two days ago?" One of them asked. "Obviously, I did. It was a ruse to get your trust, but stuff happened, and my plan was messed up." Twin Aero told. "I want to go now; I don't want to hafta tell everything to these goodies." "Aight." Monsieur Fate acknowledged Twin Aero's request. "Begone to the abyss!" And Twin Aero disappeared, leaving no trace of his existence. "I suppose you got your victory, Good Mages. It was kinda anti-climatic, due to your party still being a large enough group, but congratulations are in order for everyone of you, except for the Black Void, that is, who intended to give up his life in an execution." Monsieur Fate told the five good mages left. He turned to Another Retired Shipper. "Well, I guess you'll have to endure living for an eternity still, since you lost that chance in the Game of Death. A sad fate, but maybe it was good to vote off the threat to the Good Mages." The Game of Death had reached its end in the Mansion of Despair. The Good Mages gained superior power over the Kingdom of Magistelle while the Evil Mages were forced to either be in exile or repent for their treachery. Everything ended well for the five mages who lived; they became renowned among the reformed society, each one leaving their marks in the history of the Kingdom of Magistelle. Twin Aero is dead. He was the evil Dark Seer. Another Retired Shipper lost. He was the neutral Black Void. ====== Congratulations, winners! Anstane has won the game. He is the Red Mage. Fair Family has won the game. He is the Clairvoyant. S. Paul has won the game. He is the Oracle. Lykos Hand has won the game. He is the Green Mage. Hongaarse Beer has won the game. He is the Black Mage. ====== Magic and Curses! Another Mafia Game Cast Monsieur Divergent as your Game Moderator/Host S. Paul as Oracle [Winner] Lykos Hand as Green Mage [Winner] Hongaarse Beer as Black Mage [Winner] Jace Stormkirk as Blue Mage [Killed N0] Twin Aero as Dark Seer[Lynched D3] HUEnd as Nightshade [Killed N2] Another Retired Shipper as [Lost D3] Megagun as Silencer [Lynched D1] Hycrox as White Mage [Killed N2] Fair Family as [Winner] Cool Girl as Scholar [Killed N1] Sailboat as Psychic [Lynched D2] Anstane as [Winner] Some comments on the game: - HUEnd was apparently the one who got the most visits in the entire game, getting 5 visits to boot, 2 of which from our dear Oracle. He only wanted to charge and use his special skill to recruit others, but he died without even being successful in doing so. - Both Another Retired Shipper and Lykos Hand were never visited by anyone in the entire game. - Most charges were successful, except for HUEnd's charges and Hycrox's 2nd charge. - Ending was kinda anti-climatic, but well, with only one of the evil side being left, it was almost inevitable that it would turn out that way. - I'm split on giving the MVP Award to either Hongaarse Beer or S. Paul. Hongaarse Beer carefully outed HUEnd as a criminal and provided good context, while S. Paul had his sights on HUEnd from the start of the game and mostly encourage people to state their roles; he also managed to steer votes away from him on second day, despite there being a chance of being sacrificed for his Oracle Role. Thanks for playing this game, guys! I had quite a fun time, reading your reactions and sentiments, as well as seeing how the evil side reacted on the private chat they had. I won't be hosting another game in a while due to being busy with school matters, but I hope we can play this again at some other time, preferably with a different twist to Mafia. I also do hope that one of you try to host a Mafia game on forums; it's quite fun to do and though it's a lot of work, it's still quite rewarding. And, Monsieur Fate does want to play Mafia with you guys. Watch me get wrecked. Again, thank you! Good game, well played.
  13. Well, the first playthrough is almost always more challenging than subsequent playthroughs, so that must be what you're experiencing. I made a 2nd playthrough when V9 was released, and I didn't find it particularly hard (normal mode) due to the way I structured my team to handle threats. You should try using Toxic / Toxic Spikes Garbodor for that fight and Calm Mind Swoobat; that's why I used to defeat Marianette and the other leaders, along with some other good pokemon you can find in the areas there.
  14. Uh, to answer your question, lying is perfectly valid in this kind of game; it is up to everyone to discern and see through truths and lies. 16. Happy Birthday, Amine! Hope you have a great day!
  17. Day Three "Ku ku ku. The Psychic's execution worked well for us, it seems." One of the evil mages laughed in the dark corner of the room they were in. "Well, we couldn't afford to have one of us taken again, so that votation ended in that Sailboat's tragic death." "Sure. We're not gonna lose now, aren't we?" His companion replied, looking at his wristwatch at the same time. "Time to enact our plans, isn't it?" "Let's get going then! I'm kinda excited." The two evil mages left the room, their plans ready to put to use. ===== Hycrox was at the mansion's infirmary, checking out the infirmary's array of medicine and equipment. He had been enamored with these materials ever since his stay in the Mansion of Despair, and he thought of bringing some of these along with him when he was to leave the Mansion, after they, the good mages, fimd out the evil ones. "Tragic, isn't it?" A voice from behind him called. "That you won't be getting out of here alive." "Who is it?" Hycrox looked to his back. He saw the Nightshade, in all his great glory, baring his Dark Tome. "Damn, you think you got me, eh? Well, I won't fall down as easily as the other two." Hycrox lunged at the Nightshade, taking out his Staff. "Surrender or die!" "Unfortunately, you're the White Mage, aren't you?" The Nightshade smirked, his eyes looking down on Hycrox. "Too bad you can't hit me back." "Tartarus!" The Nightshade yelled and Hycrox was cast into the dark confines of the Underworld. "Ku ku ku. Another of the colored mages out. That went well." "Oh, did it?" A voice told the Nightshade from behind. "Wha-" The Nightshade turned to his back, clearly surprised at the remark sent to him. He calmed his expression in an instant. "You thought to imitate what I did, surprising me just as I did Hycrox? Well, such a shame, I wasn't surprised." "Yes, you were." The person spoke up, his eyes glaring at the Nightshade. "Who would have thought that our dear HUEnd was the Mastermind after all of all these killings?" "Mhm... I'd have to admit that your accusation is ridiculous. I am the Black Mage, keeper of Justice." HUEnd grinned a bit at the mage in front of him. "Such a silly lie. You're talking to the Black Mage himself." The Black Mage smirked, his teeth showing a bit. "And you're going down. Thundaga!" HUEnd taken aback by what the Black Mage said, failed to move away in time and was hit roughly by the Thundaga Spell. "You won't get away with this! Agartha!" The Black Mage easily avoided his attacked and retailiated almost immediately. "Checkmate. FIRAGA!" ===== "Oh ho ho ho ho, yesterday was quite active, wasn't it?" Monsieur Fate told the mages whom he gathered at the infirmary. "We've got two deaths last night. One, the good White Mage, and two, our dear Nightshade. I wonder how the Dark Seer will act this time, him being all alone.... Let the Day Phase begin!" "Dang. I won't lose. Not now." The Dark Seer muttered from behind. "There are 5 of them innocent and 1 who is neutral. It will take me long, but challenge accepted." Hycrox is dead. He was the good White Mage. HUEnd is dead. He was the evil Nightshade. ====== Day Three has begun. It will last for 48 hours. Begin discussing about the Night's events, who are possible Evil mages, and share your ideas! 18. Just remembered today that everyone in my class is a unique individual. I'm looking forward to seeing them 10 years from now.

  19. Night Two The second Day in the Game of Death was quite exciting, well, to Monsieur Fate's perspective at least. The mages begun discussing their thoughts; some of them had wanted to address the silence of Twin Aero in the previous Day, beginning with Sailboat's accusation that Twin Aero was faking silence. Others chose to take the side of Sailboat while others chose to see that Megagun did silence Twin Aero. Whether this was true or not, the mages were still lost, unable to find someone to blame or see as a criminal. The discussion was silent for a while as most mages chose to withheld potential information which could turn the tables around on someone to blame. Well, Monsieur Fate thought that the mages may have reservations to share information which could potentially get them killed at this stage of the game. Finally, the blaming turned to S. Paul who apparently voted for Fair Family, one who self-voted in the first day. This seemed to be a suspicious action, considering that he had done this the previous day as well. Others joined this bandwagon, calling on their own instincts to guide them. However, everything was turned over when S. Paul claimed to be the Oracle. This seemed believable and everyone retracted their own votes against him, and turned to the next suspicious person, this was Sailboat. Sailboat got majority of the votes; though he had tried to save himself, it was too late, the people had casted their votes and sealed his fate, his tragic, oh tragic fate. Monsieur Fate called on Sailboat, "Do you wish to share any last words, Sailboat?" "Yes. Indeed, I'd like to share much." Sailboat approached the front of the crowd and began speaking. "I am the innocent and good Psychic, one who has sent messages to a few entities here, giving you a little of my help and my intentions, but I suppose, I have not been believed by some of my message's recipients, choosing to betray me instead. Well, I suppose my claims and my statements seemed outrageous to you, in fact, suspicious to most of you, but I have only shared my opinion, my honest opinion, and you have voted me out for my remarks and my comments. It is okay though; I accept my incoming execution... I have been expecting to either be executed or killed in the previous days and I have long acknowledged that this was going to happen sooner or later. Thank you for being with me these previous days. I am grateful for having been alive for at least a few hours in this Game of Death. All I ask is that you choose to be wise these coming days and nights. Analyze the events that have happened thus far, and see to it that you find the evil mages before they get you all. I am the odd one, the one who stuck out the most, and in my exit, I hope you find the real odd ones, the ones that bear ill intent upon your lives. That is all, Monsieur Fate. I am ready for the execution." "Well then, disappear into dust." Monsieur Fate pointed to Sailboat, and he disappeared, all traces of him gone. Some mages were filled with remorse, their sadness due to lynching someone innocent, but some had different ideas.... they thought instead to honor Sailboat's sacrifice and avenge his death by finding out the real guilty parties in this Game of Death. And so, the night approached once more. Perhaps this night was gonna be a bloody one. Sailboat is dead. He was the good Psychic. ====== Night Two has begun. It will last for 24 hours.
