The developers over at Stoic must have some sort of thing for insane and strangely wise/useful Spearmen, since in BS2, there's one available with either caravan, with Tryggvi in the main group and Bak with Bolverk.

Replaying through Banner Saga 1, Allete was a lot stronger in combat than I remembered her being. Thread the Needle combined with Splinter essentially allowed you to completely strip 4 or 5 Dredge of their armor in a single turn with proper positioning.

Going out of town for the next few days to check out a college or two. Internet connection will be patchy because Wyoming, so I'll probably see you guys in a few days.

I like watching both sides of things like UCL and GBA battles simultaneously to hear both of their thoughts at the same time and understand the entire battle.

I love how Toxicroak basically sets up on and kills Mega Blastoise.

I really enjoy Chesnaught in UU. It is such a good wall, being able to wall lots of threatning Pokemon, like Banded/Scarf Krook, Roserade (excluding the random HP Fire and Extrasensory/Dazz Gleam) , and Crawdaunt.

It took a couple months, but I finally made a team that doesn't completely suck. It hasn't happened in a while, so I was little worried I would just suck at teambuilding for absolutely forever. Which I still might, but at least I have a decent enough one to play with now.

It always astounds me just how many people don't check the possible abilities of the Pokemon they're attacking. Like, they could be immune to your attacks and Showdown provides a nice little list of every possible ability and you can easily look up what they do! Sigh

So in case you missed it, new Sun and Moon trailers. The first reveals new Pokemon and is available in English and the second goes over attack animations, types, and abilities of some of the recently revealed Pokemon. The secind trailer is currently only available in Japanese, ti my knowledge.

Few things are scarier in Mount ad Blade than when you see a massive for of like 220 bandits ready to engulf your tinsy little band of companions at ~10-15

Seeing people's general reactions towards going out at night and catching Pokemon with Go helps me realize just how much we humans have failed to conquer our fear of the dark and what it hides.

I think I'm going to have Salandit on my team in Sun/Moon. It has an awesome offensive typing and I'm hoping for a special attacker.
