Heliolisk does a better job than Pachirisu in general, and than everything else vs Shade. If you have the time to grind up, go get it. As mentioned above, evolve Trubbish. It's not going to be useful for much longer. You might as well use it now.

Restoring the slums gives you a smaller reward than the others. I hope Ame improves this by giving us some gen7 pokemon along with Goomy, which is all you get.

With Torchic the best choice is Leafeon. It gets rid of your weaknesses and will prove to be quite an asset later. Make sure to cover up with a Rock type. Flareon has become increasingly better after Gen5. It had no moves till then. In gen7 it's a perfectly viable choice. Still not the best one for you. How about you release Torchic and start only with Eevee? That would be a challenge, don't you think?

You should have encountered lots of problems till now if you have been playing in such a way. Don't go mixed. It's not worth it. Grind up some Steel or better Poison types. At this point in the game Arbok is nearly useless. Aggron, Crobat, Magneton, Golurk, Drapion are very good choices to use. If you wait till E17, Salazzle is going to be available, which seems pretty good against Adrienn.

Yes. The second line refers to the added requirements to become Ace. The EXP was an attempt to imitate the rupee system on the new site. I didn't imply that they removed the Rupees in order to use the EXP one. Probably poor wording on my part.

The old site had rupees, and you could buy the Ace Membership for 6000 of them, provided you were part of the community for 6 months. They became almost useless after the "Mess With Others" part of the site shop was removed, so too many people became Ace at the same time. Therefore they had to come up with a system that limits that. Then the EXP one happened resulting in no new Ace members.

Leftovers, Black Sludge, Regeneration, Poison Heal depend on your HP, so you can tinker with that to get the maximum recovery every round. c. In a similar fashion Life Orb depends on your HP so you can tinker with that to get 11 hits instead of 10. In reverse, Belly Drum needs to go past half HP. d. When you defensive stats are about equal, you can add some IVs or EVs to one of them to not allow boosts for opponents with Download. e. Same goes for Ditto vs Ditto, or Ditto vs Illusion Zoroark.

There are plenty of options to use post-Agate, so don't worry about getting a specific fossil. Reborn is made for us to explore different possibilities in pokemon teams. Experiment. By using the mechanics you cannot. By exploiting the save files you can. It depends on whether you'd like to play by the rules or not.
