If I remember correctly, a Ground/Steel pokemon like Steelix or Excadrill can wall it for dayz. There is always the option for: Curse, Destiny Bond, Perish Song, Soak, Mirror Coat etc

Scizor and Aegislash are definitely not getting in there until we beat Hardy. Skarmory and Ferrothorn should be already considered in-game due to the desert. Gengar got a huge nerf in gen7, meaning EQ hits it hard now. I would expect it to return as an event in the Wasteland, probably replacing the old Misdreavous event. Gyarados is a running gag by now, and quite powerful. We should be able to complete this series of events by now. If you are persistent enough to get it, you should own it by now. As others have pointed out, Salamence and Dragonite are way too powerful for the remaining gym leaders. Thematically they belong to the Victory Road. Talonflame is pretty much in, right after we beat Titania. The bird got a nerf for its flying type attacks, yet it still is an incredibly fast fire type that could even solo Titania. The remaining 3 are: Garchomp, Hydreigon, Tyranitar. Arguably Hydreigon is the weaker of the 3, yet quite problematic for Saphira. Garchomp is problematic for every single gym so, even if it fits thematically for the desert, the AI won't be able to cope with it. Perhaps later, with an event. Tyranitar is good right now to be included. As long as access to Larvitar does not equal access to Deino, I see no reason not to have access to another Pseudo-Legendary.

As others have said, design is important. Before you release the game re-work on all the fakemon designs. Usually the creation goes like this: general idea of what the pokemon looks like --> give type(s) --> give abilities and stats --> provide movepool --> make design --> improve design --> finish I avoid all fakemon whose design was lazy or overcomplicated. It's funny because it has also happened with canon pokemon, so this is a really important thing to consider. I played till Gen3, then returned in Gen5 with no knowledge of what new pokemon exist, so I started with hacks. When I saw the elemental monkeys I thought they were lazily made fakemon and avoided them. I think I speak for many when I say that design plays a big role in a pokemon game. Therefore I have this proposal for you. Since the artwork for your fakemon will probably not be similar to that of the canon pokemon, and thus the difference will show, you should make your world completely with fakemon. I understand this might turn out to be a lengthy process, but it's a winning strategy. When the folks that tried to create Se7en tried to do it, they were working on it for months. They even launched a huge marketing campaign to get people to play their game. The first episode was a huge success as it was a new experience to most. I believe any creator who wishes to make a new pokemon world with fakemon, should aim at this; a new experience. You may achieve what others could not. The designs are not half bad, but they still need work. Before taking this seriously, I suggest you make contact with a few people capable of coding and designing as that would speed up your process. It also makes up for any silly idea you may have. Furthermore I suggest before creating the game to have the story written down and revised a few times, so that when you start building your world, you don't end up making something so generic that it will be easily forgotten.

I have been waiting for this to start a new playthrough. Apparently the Gen2 monorun ended up pretty well. So, for everyone wondering, I shall be handing out precious mons for all of you to grab. Gen2 all of them, so don't expect anything crazy.

I used to think of sleep as wasted time, and after a bit it actually is. Biologically I need 5 REM cycles which is 6-7h to be fully functional. I can live with less, and during the week due to my heavy schedule and little time for other activities, which I steal from my sleep time

Take a step back and look at your situation logically. Your family has a high budget. Therefore you apply measures of austerity which you should follow in order for the budget to manage your needs. If you go beyond that budget, cuts will need to be made. Thus no chocolate milk at all. So it can be a question of short-term personal gain versus a long-term reduced but still existing privilege. You probably thought you were bypassing your family rules, but all you end up doing is making it harder on all of you. It's small, but if everyone does their small 'bypass' money will come short really fast.

Not all bugs happen in all save-files. The fatal ones are dealt with during the beta. "A" is an alternative to "Z" and it has few uses, therefore there is a way to avoid those bugs you 'read about'. You can always wait for the public release. Just don't think the bugs are enough to ruin the experience. I personally ran through the game enough times during the development stage and after, and hardly came accross any serious bugs.
