Besides that, I think the max number a stat can be in pokémon is 255. So 280 goes beyond that by a fairly big range. Is not the same as having an ability that boosts said stat tho: a mon could have an attack stat of 255 and still have huge power for a greater attack after all modifiers are applied into calculation, but its base stat would still be 255. You could make a mega shuckle with 255 def and spd, but... why not give it more attack then? for example, 105 attack, and keep defenses the same. Ability....uh....solid rock? then use power trick, and you have a mon with 230 attack and a somewh -

I'm surprised of how similar your mega gourgeist and my mega gourgeist are. Same defense, almost same speed, same ability. In fact now that I look at them, many megas in this thread are similar to mine. I guess people tend to see certain mons in very similar ways -

Ceph do you realise that a slow pokémon with this ability and access to at least one of the dig-like moves would be literally untouchable right? I know you intended the ability for mega espeon primarily, but the implications of it in the case of, say, a skill swap, are scary as fuck. Say for example that I skill swap it into a marowak holding a lagging tail: marowak is already slow on its own, but the lagging tail makes it always move last when it uses a move of the same priority as the opponent. Now, it gains the ability to select dig and becomes invulnerable to literally any form of attack -
Getting to uni when the sun rises and getting home quite after the sun sets. Makes me wonder what it'll be like when I actually get to have a job.

Just learned that in gen 6, a burned, non-guts pokemon's attack will not be halved when, and only when, it uses the move facade. This is great for quick feet users like ursaring, but my question: has this change been implemented in essentials? anyone knows?

200 atk and 140 speed + this ability means this thing can get in, stall on a base of substitute/protect/substitute/protect, reach turn 5, and basically kill anything with a combination of crush grip (is a 121 base power attack when the foe has its full HP, plus it receives STAB, and is regis' signature move) and knock off. It is so fast that the few things faster than it cannot really touch it all that much. Plus, normal type only has a weakness to fighting: remove all the potential fighting sweepers from the other team and you're almost guaranteed a regigigas sweep. I think this mega Regigi -

You know, magiana's maid-like hear detail made out of a gear is the same I used for my maid-based steel/ghost iron maiden mon. I never thought about it, but gen VII mons could make my fakemon become obsolete.

Out of all the cartoons I watch, I go to Wander over yonder for the slapstick and the simple plot and child-oriented jokes. It brings back memories. But today's ep about bot 13 ended in such a sad note man, such a sad note. Is almost like every cartoon nowadays makes you cry at some point, no matter how silly or well-hearted it is.

Emolga doesn't even have serene grace, and yet it flinched a primal groudon to death. That's cool, but disgusting. I've lost to this thing in a similar way sometimes. How comes air slash flinches so much in random battles? is it just bad luck?

Is about to put knife into knife cupboard. Mom tries to grab it because WHY NOT and I instinctively draw my hand with the knife away from her. She almost cut herself when trying to grab it. Her first words? "don't move your hand when I'm trying to grab the knife". Right, because you SHOULD try to take a knife (by the blade) from someone holding a knife, RIGHT?

One of the families I used to visit a lot when I was younger insisted that you should always carry the knife by the blade so you wouldn't hurt anyone.
My family insist you should always carry it at arm's length and pointing towards the floor
I usually hold it in such a way that the blade is concealed by my arm
In each of these scenarios, reaching to grab a knife from someone without saying anything will end badly

I know people that like shiny weavile, but I'm not one of them. It just doesn't strike me right. Then there are the classic ones: green fluorescent espeon, lime scrafty, whatever happened to ursaring, etc.

Charge Beam has a 60% chance to raise your special attack, is more statistics than luck XD
And yeah I was expecting toxic or rollout from that miltank, which is why I went for substitute, but I don't know why he would click EQ, predicting what? in a random battle? a steel type because he thought I thought he was gonna use rollout? hmm
Also unrelated, serene grace iron head hirachi has NEVER got a flinch when it is on MY team.

Fern is a dick
Flowey is a dick, but that's only because he legit lacks a soul and is therefore unable to feel any sort of empathy as a result.
They're both jerk asses, but at least flowey has a legit backstory to explain why he's a jerkass, and there's redemption for him depending on the route you take.
Fern is nonredeemable at this point. And even if he were, I doubt people would care enough about him to take the path leading to it.
