    I really predicted a water/fighting for popplio's fate, but after today's disarming voice, water/fairy seems most likely. I'm fine either way, I like both. Although, if water/fairy ends up with bulk, it will be great. Also, that supposed theory about litten ending as fire/ground and popplio as water/fighting back then I hope is debunked by now. #Hope

      It's a circus sea lion. I bet you it gets all the voice and circus moves, so disarming voice needn't be proof positive that it'll be fairy type.

      Needn't be proof positive, but it's still the most likely by now, unless we get either the evos or new looks at its movepool.

      That aside, water/fighting really sounds cool to have in a starter, but I don't oppose water/fairy if it's well done.

    Normal - Tri attack/Boomburst. I always loved tri attack on porygon z. Boomburst is super strong and has no drawbacks. Fire - Flamethrower. Accurate and powerful. Water - Scald. Decent power and "generally" burns. Electric - Thunderbolt. Accurate and powerful. Grass - Leech Seed. I love seeding stuff. Ice - Freeze dry. Goodbye Swampert and Kingdra. Fighting - Dynamic punch. I love no guard machamp. Poison - Sludge bomb. Seems to poison even more often than scald burns. Ground - Earthquake. Doesn't have many drawbacks, if any at all. Flying - Air slash. I'm a sucker for the (otherwise disgusting) air slash togekiss with serene grace. Psychic - Psychic. Psychic. Bug - X-scissor. Accurate and powerful. Rock - Power gem. Special and accurate, unlike all the other rock garbage. Ghost - Shadow sneak/Curse. Love the battle animation for both. Dragon - Draco Meteor. It's just so damn cool looking. Steel - Iron Head. Accurate and powerful. Dark - Knock off. Good secondary effect. Fairy - Moonblast. Accurate and powerful.

    Is just a wild guess, but could it be.... that regular zygarde (nowadays known as 50%) could be the form this adopts at, well, 50% health? It would feel extremely crowded that way, but is the only explanation I can come up with for the time being.       That's an honest feel that I share, but most of the bad pokemon I like could actually use a regular evo better than a mega.

      Yeah! Rock Fighting, could be better than Terrakion if it gets Intimidate or moves like Espeed and stuff maybe? Or of it gets elemental coverage. Not that it needs it; Rock/Fight is amazing dual stab, as Terrakion demonstrates.

Like ESpeed would be brilliant on Terrak ((I've seen some run Quick Attack so...Definitely be nice.)) and if it hada better ability than Justified ((which isn't awful but isn't crazy either.)) it could definitely be interesting... ((and if it got U-Turn it probably make a nice Offensive Pivot.))

      Lol I really do hope doge doesn't end up rock/fighting. I like it better than growlithe and hondour, but I don't want its typing to check the other 2 in every single way.

      Pure rock would be cool if it's fast tho. I like fast rock types.

    I have a deep apreciation for emolga both in-game and in competitive. However, even with that, winning a game basically by charge beaming and air slashing with it is disgusting as hell, if I say so myself. Just won a random battle with this and I still feel sorry for the other guy.

    As long as you give said dragon/fighting type an attack stat of 70 so that it has to rely on choice band and make it weak enough so that fairies can OHKO it, it should be not -too- destructive. But give its evolution 135 attack, 120 special attack and 105 speed, for that matter. I have an ability called berserk, but its effect is a bit different: if this pokémon is made to flinch by a foe, its attack stat gets raised 6 stages. Kinda like anger point but for flinch instead of crits. Keeps fake out lopunny and iron head jirachi the fuck away from the field, considering the mon that would get such ability would get access to sucker punch and the likes. To this day I'm not yet sure if the name fits the ability, however.

    Out of 3 bat pokemon (zubat, woobat, noibat), only 2 of them evolve to a final form with 535 BST. Woobat doesn't. I was kinda in the mood to make a 535 BST final evolution for woobat and swoobat, but have no idea what to call it. Luvbat? Smoobat?

    The already mentioned blaziken, or there's also vullaby, that resembles a hen despite being based on a vulture chick, technically. A toothed deer or an actual reindeer that doesn't suck ass like stantler would be cool. A moose, a donkey, a whale shark, an anglerfish that looks scarier than lanturn, a viperfish, elephant seal (could be bulky as fuck), porpoise, real scorpion and not whatever drapion is supposed to be, etc.

A pokemon like weezing that embodies toxic gases, something that is actually a problem in some cities of japan? Rats were carriers of the flea that caused the bubonic plague, yet we have a rat pokemon in raticate. In fact by that logic, mosquitoes and flies are no problem at all, considering that, like rats, is something smaller they carry around what actually causes all those diseases. Without even getting started into the fact that many species of fly are harmless. But well, I can see what you mean if we apply it in the cases of, say, radioactive pokemon, or literal embodiments of plagues (as in, a bacteria or disease pokemon). Gamefreak doesn't want to offend anybody, and yet they still get in trouble because of things like registeel, probopass and the likes. Ontopic again, a wolf would actually be pretty cool. I'm very surprised we don't have that one yet. We had to wait 6 gens for a lion and a t-rex, so I'd assume GF works slow in that regard. Capybara, jaguar, aardvark, antilope, actual elephant (considering how donphan came out), etc.would all be cool as well.

    You're welcome. A narwhal would be super cool tho. Same for a dolphin, an actual lynx (luxray is cool but eh...), an actual peacock (altaria has nothing to do with a peacock whatsoever), a mosquito, a fly, a flea, an earthworm, leech, penguin outside of empoleon, kangaroo, platypus, etc.

      I always thought Espeon and Umbreon should have evolved via moon/sun stone, but since that's not the case, I theorize the 7th gen might take this opportunity to bring us something unique.

    I just discovered I passed a big exam I made last week, that I though I was gonna fail, and in ehich case would have completely messed my exam season schedule. Learning I passed has made me feel a genuine happiness outburst like I haven't had in a long time (I'm kind of an stoic man).

    While I don't know the artist who did that, I assume what they were going for is giving this mega swalot the same quill-like feature gulpin has on its head, with the added detail of a black tip. It does look like a pikachu's ear, but I dare to say that is just coincidence.

    Zygarde's forms have been released in TGC by now. I do hope they appear in the games at some point, I want to use that dog man. Marshadow is a supposed 3rd legendary from this new generation of games, according to some. I don't know the full of it but I recall it being like with solgaleo and lunala at first: people realised GF had put copyright over those names and they speculated they might be the names of the new legends. Marshadow was (?) one of the names copyrighted so I think that's all there is to it by now. People speculate that since solgaleo is the sun and lunala the moon, marshadow would/could be the eclipse pokemon. Solgaleo is based on the "lion eating the sun" from alchemy, a symbol of metals (purification of metals?). Thus the steel typing. My guess for psychic is that it is the type often associated to astronomical bodies like the sun (see: espeon, the psychic type sun pokemon, or cresselia, the psychic type moon pokemon). Lunala's psychic might have the same origin, while the ghost part might be because of the "beast that calls the moon part". Since the dark type is the evil type in japan and has less to do with the moon than with maliciousness (technically), ghost type is more akin to the "night type", if you will. The moon appears at night, so a ghost type should be able to call the night, thus calling upon the moon. Maybe we'll be getting a weather-like move this gen for eclipses and full moons (-speculation-). Still I say, I would have preffered fire/electric and fairy/ghost (-personal opinion-). It is unknown at this point, but some people think we might, and that's a cool thought.

    I love Raichu, I think it is the coolest pika because it is THE BETTER PIKA. As in, it evolves from literally the mon the whole trope revolves around. Raichu would be the one getting a mega if the line ever gets one, and Raichu has the greater stats, plus a solid ability in lightning rod. It is fast, and thunderbolt hits nicely. However, between Raichu and Emolga, I can hardly decide. I love both, and emolga has a cool typing. More weaknesses, maybe, but it got Air slash and roost, plus motor drive to negate otherwise neutral electric hits, and is adorable. I also like plusle and minum because of the positive-negative cheerleader motif, and I like pachirisu because it is a rare fast defensive mon with follow me. I like dedenne because of its unique typing (although it sadly doesn't have much else going on for it), and I kinda like pikachu, but I don't like treating it like it was a different entity to that of Raichu: to me pikachu is just "what evolves into raichu", so that's my level of affection for it.

    Polite: the user always lets the foe strike first and always deals the less possible damage. (((Basically stall plus min damage in each attack used.))) Legal: the user will avoid landing critical hits or having secondary effects activate on its foes. (((Prevents the user's attacks from becoming crits and second effects from triggering; i.e. this mon's scald will never burn))) Dramatic: when hit by an attack, the user will fake more or less damage. (((SE attacks on the user gain 25% more power; however, NVE attacks lose 25% in power. Now, give the ability to normal types only. Welcome)))

    In a trick room doubles team with users of gravity (reduces evasion of all mons in the field) and/or telekinesis (basically no guard), this could actually be dangerous. I'm picturing a set with this derp stunfisk carrying tackle, rest and such, and a shadow tag gothitelle with trick room and telekinesis. Hone claws baton passing could also be a thing. Anyways: Negative: the user's stats can only be lowered. Any move (by the user or another mon in the field) that would raise the user's stats will instead lower them. Moves that lower stats behave as usual. This mon's stats can still be affected by topsy turvy and be raised, and the user can also be baton passed positive stat changes by an ally.
