Commander

Personally, I'm not too focused on themes and I probably won't have a set one for battles, but try to find one that fits the battle well (and test my RPG library memory. I will find a way to include a Chrono Cross song...I will).

I think I'll pick these for Henry's theme and battle theme for right now (I'm open to suggestions though), but the battle theme will change once he gets a team of six. Henry's Theme Battle theme

Henry Ten Minutes Ago... A student came up to Henry mentioning the Coordinator show was about to start, but he suggested for Henry to not show up seeing as it would ruin the show entirely just because of his prescence. The boy simply rolled his eyes after the other boy left. Henry then looked at Raiza. "I'm really sorry about this, but I have to go. If your Deino doesn't turn up, I'll help you after the show." The boy didn't even take time to hesitate as he headed out towards the stage. Current time "Sorry I'm late." Henry finally made it to the back stage. "I hope someone here has an idea of what we're going to do because I sure as hell don't." Truthfully, Henry spent most his time working on moves and techniques, but none of them we're really that pleasing to the eye in his opinion. --------------------------------------------------- Henry's Family "Let me go you dump tree thingy!" yelled Citrine as she was being dragged by a Sudowoodo. Zuko decided to forget about food and follow his master. Citrine was well known for getting into trouble. Eventually, the two came across Henry's dad who was amongst the crowd. "I'm glad you could make it. I hope Steve wasn't too rough on either of you," responded Joseph. "Why are we even here? I doubt Henry would bother showing up to this. Back in Orre, he always focused on battles and that's it," responded the girl. "He'll show up. Henry may not seem like a Coordinator, but he certainly isn't one to back out of anything, no matter how much he doesn't like it," responded Henry's dad.

Things are a bit hectic over here so I'm probably not going to be able to get a response in until tomorrow.

{Conclave Group} "Remember, the mother here is different than Candice so they may might out of fear from her even if they do not. Even so, we've spent too much time out here already," responded Drake. He cued the others to follow him inside.

Burrows The sudden shaking in the ground angered the mole. Apparently, circles weren't enough to stop this little behemoth. He began striking his claws against one another when he noticed the brackets on the screen had changed. Facing off against Henry was...her. The Drilbur quickly performed a spin in the air and quickly rushed underground. His master needed to know about this as soon as possible. --------------------------------------------------------------- Henry "Sure, that's no problem at all," responded Henry. They finally reached the exit of the haunted house. That was a waste of money, but it was nice seeing Raiza again. "I guess we should start...found him." A Drilbur popped up from the ground and pointed towards the screen. Henry was surprised at what happened. "Hmm...it seems they've changed the brackets for some reason. Looks like I'm facing...Kristen followed by Danielle. Of all the people they could choose, it had to be those two." Henry then analyzed the brackets to see what else had been changed, but nothing else interested him. "Sorry about that. Now, where do you think your Deino ran off to?"

I thought Pierre was supposed to be Claude's competition, not Slade's.

Henry "Sometimes words aren't enough to describe something...er Rosie, what's wrong?" Henry looked down at the little Skitty who was pointing towards the exit. "Burrows ran off again...and is with someone else? Dragon? I don't have any dragons so it can't be mine. I should probably go check on him just in case something is about to go down." He slowly started moving before turning back to Raiza. "I'm really sorry about this, but I rarely keep them inside their Poke Balls so this sometimes happens. But I really do appreciate your words of encouragement" -------------------------------------------------------- Burrows The Drilbur looked at the Deino quite terrified. He knew they could be dangerous, especially trained ones, but thankfully his dragon neighbors told him what to do if a situation like this were to pop up. He took a few steps back and used his claw to draw a perfect circle around him. Surely this dragon were not able to bypass this ultimate defense system. -------------------------------------------------------- Citrine "Oh Henry has told me all kinds of things," Citrine lied. She barely even knew the kid. "Mostly just things you wouldn't want anybody else knowing about, but don't worry, your secrets are safe with me. Now how long before my...our food is ready." Citrine looked at Zuko who was content with her response. "I swear, you're a lot more prideful than you used to be, Zuko." ---------------------------------------------------------- Henry's Dad The man stood there silently after that slip up. He didn't want to make whatever friendships Henry had here any worse seeing as most people hated him. But his curiousity got the better of him as his son never really talked about his school life. "Becoming the IP is no easy feat as there are many others who are also just as qualified as yourself, but that's something to worry about in years to come. There is something else I'd like to ask. You haven't seen my son Henry lately, have you?" --------------------------------------------------------- Steve (the Sudowoodo) The Sudowoodo poorly impersonated a tree as he stood close by Danielle's stand. He saw a boy on a Ponyta and quickly facepalmed himself after seeing such a performance. At this point, he had completely forgotten his main objective was to keep a close eye on Citrine.

I'm fine with waiting for Grassnake. I just didn't want her PC waiting outside to be stormed by 600 acolytes coming back.

Henry "...I might visit it over the summer or on a break considering traveling back and forth from Orre to here isn't really an option and this might be the only chance I get." Henry didn't want to think about that anymore. Once school was over, he'd probably never see any of these people again which made him a bit sad oddly. "As for the no orders thing, I think you're the only one who's praised me so far. I usually just get smack talk when it comes to battling. Rosie replacing Zuko only made things worse as I think every person in the school now hates me...except you. What do you see in me that everyone else doesn't?" including me. Meanwhile, an Electrike was running for his life while a blue dragon thing was in hot pursuit. He thought he wasn't going to make it when he saw a light at the end of the tunnel making it back. Henry noticed the Electrike earlier, but ignored it because he didn't want to have to deal with that thing again. Burrows, on the other hand, chased after the little runt who taunted. He caught up to the Electrike and readied to face him in battle, but the Electrike simply dashed around him and began sprinting towards the forest to get away from this hellhole. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Henry's Dad "Don't you dare bring up those backstabbing bastards," Joseph yelled out. "Sorry, please pardon my sudden outburst. It's just that in Orre's darkest hour, the International Police never came and felt they had no need to give a reason why they didn't even respond. Orre's Police Department still holds a grudge against them. I don't blame them as it tore many of their families apart." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Citrine Once the girl in front of Citrine was done, Citrine didn't even take a minute to hesitate as she charged forward and slammed her arm on the counter. "Hi," she responded softly. "I'm not too particular so I'll let the chef decide for me. Don't worry, I'll eat just about anything." "Pix!" Suddenly, a Vulpix jumped onto the counter looking enraged at the girl. "Oh yeah, Zuko would like the same as well." She watched the Vulpix turn his head glaring at the food that was being passed out. "Zuko, you better not try stealing anyone's food. That's my job." She then looked over seeing the chef looked rather familiar. She then glanced back as the screen realizing the boy in the back was none other than Shiro. "Hey, you're Henry's roommate, aren't ya? I've heard quite a few stories about you." This time she yelled to make sure the boy could hear her loud and clear.

May as well post my updated team since there were a bunch of changes. This one is more or less final and I dropped the Sandstorm idea as well and went with some other theme. (Once you figure out the theme, the final Pokemon is very easy to figure out). My team Reserves

Does someone wanna give Grassnake a PM? I don't want to move on without her saying something, but if she doesn't respond (or anyone else in the group that we didn't realize) I'll bunny them following Drake inside the Conclave. @Jory and Tacos: Go ahead and work together to get the first card key so that we don't keep holding you guys up. We'll have everyone back together on the second floor.

{Henry} "I don't know if she's my strongest, but she easily can be one of the scariest things on the field. It brings back some good memories in Orre. As for Zuko, I gave him back to Citrine, his original owner, but the two are running around here somewhere." Hopefully she hasn't burned any stalls down yet. Henry then thought about Raiza mentioning him not giving Zuko any orders. He never realized it was such a big deal. "It's not telekinesis, but how I train my Pokemon. I don't want my Pokemon only to rely on my every order so I often train them to be able to fight well without orders. I remember reading something about a place called the Battle Palace in Hoenn. At first, it seemed to be a lot more work than what it was worth, but I've gone too far I really can't go back. Eventually, you'll see all my Pokemon fight similar to Zuko. Rosie actually is one step ahead and pretty much can fight without orders so I only have 3 more to work on." Meanwhile, something bumped into the Electrike. This startled the Pokemon as he released a quick spark of electricity revealing a Deino nearby. Seeing as he was outmatched, he pretended not to notice the Deino and tried to sneak by without catching anyone's attention. This certainly wasn't the place he'd want to be knocked out in.

The other issue with using stat calcs (and full effects of some moves) is that some Pokemon would be broken as hell such as Scizor, Mawile, and just about every dragon type. I mean a Scizor being able to use Swords Dance and a Supper Effective attack in the same turn would basically take care of that Pokemon before it could even move. And I could also through in field effects which is something those calcs can't do as quickly. There is also one other big flaw. If we go by that logic, pretty much anything outside of Smogon's OU (and some BL/UU) will be irrelevant and there'd be even more of us holding onto duplicates instead of branching out to lower tiers. (I don't want this going into some big debate so I'll stop there).

@Conclave Group: Who hasn't made a post yet in the group? I kind of have been holding off posting/moving so that everyone in the group has a chance to respond.

@Turbo: I'm trying to hold off on updates until everyone responds so that I don't have to post as much. Don't worry if you want to wait on someone else though which is also why I have certain characters wait in line to hold off on interactions. @Stratos: First, items are allowed, but they can't have any affects on the Pokemon. Like Alvis's eviolite strapped to its leg, the thick club is more for decoration. Secondly, stats aren't that important in RPing so numbers don't make too much of a difference (it's more of a rock, paper, scissors than anything).

Henry "Don't be so hard on yourself," responded Henry. "Training and hard work are only half of what makes a Pokemon battle. Sometimes, you just have to adapt to the situation you're thrown in. When I learned that lesson, I started winning more of my battles in Orre. Most of my training also focuses on that too instead of trying to get the best moves possible." Henry saw the little Skitty now snuggling his leg. "I don't believe I introduced my Skitty here. Raiza, meet Rosie. I've been with this Pokemon for a long time, but due to an incident, I couldn't take her here with me at the start of the year." Meanwhile, Paradox noticed a small green thing approaching Henry. It was dark so it kept crashing into a couple things, but it was slowly moving forward through this dark place which was making him a bit frustrated. He didn't even remember how he even landed in a place like this. --------------------------------------------------- Henry's Dad and Citrine Joseph nodded and walked off to see where he should go next when he suddenly saw a girl covered in blue paint walk right by him. He frowned a bit seeing as Henry left Citrine to run off by herself. "Steve, keep an eye on Citrine for me. I don't want that girl causing anyone any trouble." The Sudowoodo nodded as he followed the girl who fortunately never looked back to she if anyone was following her. Meanwhile, Citrine made it over a food stall where Shiro and Robert were cooking food. Her stomach got the best of her so she got in line and waited anxiously awaiting to make an order. She loved food, especially when it didn't come from a garbage can.

He could be imagining it thinking Luna is still on his team if no one responded seeing it.

If you didn't post anything about Luna, I think you can say he traded it off before the chapter began, but won't be able to use it. Just do what i do and post up it on your profile page with an * on both Luna and the new Gligar.

So the RNG chose me to fight Kristen and Danielle in the first block. I told you the RNG likes to screw around with me. I'm not against being switched around, but the thought of destroying Kristen with a Skitty does kind of make me want to fight her with Henry. Bfroger, it's really up to you what you want to do.

I can get you both a Manaphy and Shaymin, but I probably won't have them ready by the 31st. (I have to transfer all my Pokemon from Platinum, play through the game again catching both through the events, renew my Poke Bank account, and actually play my unopened cartridge of Omega Ruby and beat it).
