    E14 Changes

Let me see if I remember correctly (this is mostly off the top of my head) -Julia used to have a Chimchou who was replaced by a Voltorb I think (this one happened a really long time ago) -Florinia used to lead a Ferroseed and her Cradily used to have Curse instead of Stockpile -Corey used to have a Haunter who was replaced with a Nidorina and Skrelp replaced either the Trubbish or some other Pokemon -Shelly's team got revamped iirc. She was originally a singles with a Dwebble, Scyther, Wormadam (steel), Masquerain, Heather, and Bugsy -Shade used to have a Dusclops who was replaced with a Gourgeist -I don't know if anything was changed from Kiki's old team in this episode -Aya's team stayed pretty much the same except Muk was replaced with Venusaur -Serra...Serra was nerfed to hell. It was originally a double with a Abamasnow, Glaceon, Mamoswine, Walrein, Jynx, and Frosslass who all had bright powder and most had abilities and moves to increase evasion. This one people griped about the most. Aya has nothing on her. -Noel's Clefable used to be a normal type and his Staraptor was replaced with a Wigglytuff as you've seen -Radomus originally was a single with Alakazam, Staryu, Gallade, Metagross, Reuniclus, and GG The rest are fairly new and haven't had any changes, but old gym leaders used to not have field effects which is why Ame changed up their team. I do agree with some of them being a lot easier compared to their old version, but most of them are still a challenge.
  2. Believe it or not, Henry is actually going to calm down rather quickly from that once he gets away from Citrine. I wasn't expecting Chim to make an announcement so soon, but that kind of needed to happen once Henry's family learned he was in the winter cup. (I probably had Henry mention it in the first post, but Citrine would be the type of person to not even realize what that meant). @Dobby: Citrine is pretty much the opposite of Henry and is open to just about everything so she'd answer if Claude wanted to know what was going on. (She has a limited view on Henry's backstory anyways). @Everyone else: If you want to interact with Henry, his dad, or the Electrike, just mention it in a post and I'll respond. I was pressed for time this week, but I'll be more available now. As for the electric type, I only introduced the Pokemon early because Henry and him aren't going to get along very well.
  3. Henry's Dad The man with the Sudowoodo didn't really do all that much in the fair. He simply took a walk around getting a good look at a couple of students in Henry's class. Eventually he settled down on a bench readying to eat a hot dog he bought at one of the stalls. Right when he was about to take a bite, the intercom came on and eventually he heard his son's name he was rather surprised, but was happy for him. Seemed like the academy was helping him out after all. After the announcement, the man looked down to see his food missing. He noticed an Elecktrike nearby gulping the hot dog down after a couple of bites. Henry's dad would've order his Pokemon to attack it if a Drilbur hadn't gotten there first. The Elecktrike teased the mole as he jumped side to side dodging the attack before running off. Following this pursuit was Henry's team and a very sleepy Vulpix. "This brings back memories, eh Steve?" the man asked the Sudowoodo. The tree thing simply gave a quick smile back. "You guys sure are a bunch of troublemakers. It makes me wonder how I haven't been fired from my job yet." ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Henry and Citrine "As much as I'd enjoy helping him," Henry said sarcastically, "I'm afraid we're a little too late. Seems like he was running away from something." Or it's probably just his stomach. You can never tell with that kid. "Let's just let him be. The kid does go through mood swings faster than a woman during...nevermind." Before anyone could say anything else, the announcements went off releasing the brackets for the tournament. Henry was a bit surprised seeing as he never faced either his current opponent nor Shiro. It always felt like the kid was too afraid to fight him or something. He had a smirk on his face thinking the first two rounds were practically his. He then noticed Mareek or Kage would be his opponent after that. He decided not to think about which of them was the lesser of two evils and would simply let it pass when it would. The strongest breeder or the strongest trainer. I stand no chance against either. Citrine didn't take the news easily and looked over to the boy with a concerned look on her face. "Henry, I didn't realize you entered the tournament. I saw some of the trainers on the way and they seem to have strong Pokemon." "I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm pretty much used to being in the disadvantage that it probably won't feel any different from any other battle." Henry seemed rather calm even after the short spurt of booing after his name was called. "It feels like the old days already." "That's what I'm worried about. I don't want to see Rosie or you get hurt...again." "Don't you ever bring that up, especially now of all times." Henry was bothered by Citrine's words. He responded rather harshly. "This just seems like a bad idea. The doctor said it wasn't a good idea to push Rosie so hard and you just seem a bit off ever since that trainer's..." "How would you know?" interrupted Henry. "The damn fool got what he deserved. If anything, it knocked some sense into me. I also don't see why you bring this up when you certainly didn't care about it back then. The moment I needed you the most, you just shoved all your problems to me and ran away. Do you know how much pain you've cause me. I now have to carry a cane around praying some kid doesn't try tripping me all because you couldn't take responsibility for your own Pokemon. I'm starting to think I hate that you came here. Every time I'm around you, pain and suffering shortly follow." Henry then saw a group of Pokemon chasing after an Electrike. Once they were close enough, Henry yelled "Enough!" The six Pokemon quickly halted now focused on the enraged trainer. "You four, rest until dinner. I don't want you wasting energy you need for the tournament tomorrow." Henry then beamed the four Pokemon into their Poke Balls. Henry then focused on the Electric Dog. "As for you, scram! I don't need another pest bothering now of all times." The Electrike didn't move until Henry slammed his cane into the ground startling the Pokemon to retreat. Zuko stood there rather shocked. He never seen Henry yell at a Pokemon before. Well, he did yell occasionally, but it was never because he was angry. It did make sense though. Henry spent all this time looking for the girl. Two straight weeks they searched for her place after place until Henry eventually gave up. That day really did change Henry making him into the person the Academy knows and loves. He watched the angered boy slowly walk off with his cane in hand. He then turned seeing his master trying to chase after him, but Zuko decided to get in her way. Now was not a good time for them to talk. "Zuko...I know Henry didn't mean those things, but somehow it still stings because of how true they are. If I would've know, I simply would've stayed back in Orre." Citrine watched her Vulpix rub against her trying to comfort his master, but it wasn't enough. She turned back to Claude looking as if she was about to cry, but quickly stopped herself now shaking her head. "Claude, I don't know what I should do right now."
  4. I pretty much use a dupes clause, but force me to use choices I'd never use before because it's a continuous dupes clause. Nuzlocke Rules 1. If a pokemon faints, it's considered dead. No exceptions. 2. You can only catch the first Pokemon seen in an area Dupes Clause: I cannot catch more than one Pokemon in the same evolution line Continuous Dupes Clause: In the next nuzlocke run, I cannot catch any Pokemon that fall under Dupes Clause in the previous run (can be stacked from one game to the others). Exception: If a Pokemon has multiple final evolutions and one could not be obtained in the previous run (ie Jolteon in Fire Red and Glaceon in Platinum) then you can catch that Pokemon, but only evolve into an evolution that could not be obtained in the previous game My Rules (Main games Only) -My Pokemon must be three levels below the gym leaders lowest leveled Pokemon -Poke Balls are the only Ball allowed to catch wild Pokemon -For the Elite 4, the level cap is six-ten below the Champion's strongest -Items must be used, but I cannot use items more than twice in a row -More than one Pokemon must be used against each gym leader and important battle -Legendaries can be caught, but they cannot be used unless under dire circumstances My Rules for Colosseum and XD -A trainer with a Shadow Pokemon is considered an encounter due to the limited amount of areas -In XD, the first Shadow Pokemon seen is the only one that can be caught -Excluding Nosepass and Zangoose, no Shadow Pokemon can be caught the second time it's encountered -Since the games are a little more difficult, the level cap is two levels below the Admin's strongest non-shadow Pokemon (for Greevil, it's just 50) My Rules for Reborn (if I do one) -Event Pokemon do not count towards the area encounter, but ones that attack can only be fought once -If a Pokemon faints during an optional loss such as the Garchomp, it still is considered dead -Whiting out is not considered a loss

    E14 Changes

Good luck on that one. The most I can do is an episode in one night (that's like saying you're going to complete Xenoblade Chronicles in one sitting). If Amethyst is still going on the same schedule, there are 6 more episodes plus the post game. As long as there weren't any other changes than those Pokemon, I think the two gym leaders are still quite a challenge (personally, I thought the Muk was Aya's weakest anyways). It's also probably for the best if Noel lost the Roosting Staraptor. Personally, I prefer fighting the unerfed leaders because that feel when you finally beat them.
  6. "Forgive me for sounding selfish, but this is something I want to do alone," responded Emelia immediately. "Unlike you, I'm not an officer so any consequence will be nothing compared to what would happen to you. Besides, I've lived my life as a masked man so it wouldn't be that difficult to go back to my old ways. Besides, you're a far better cop than what I could become." Emelia had no idea why she was talking to this man in the first place. She hated him. She hated his attitude and his views, but somehow she was being kind to him. Maybe it was because she thought it was the last time she was going to be able to see him in a long time.
  7. "Wow, these guys must really hate you or something. Even the thugs in Orre don't give you looks like that. I think that guy even flipped the Pidgey. What did you do to them?" asked Citrine curious at all the looks the boy was getting. "Most of them think I'm a dick while the rest are sour I'm still in the Winter Cup because I gave Zuko back to you. The looks are because Rosie was able to sweep a couple of trainers," responded Henry ignoring the looks he was getting. "Well that's a party pooper. Surely not everyone here hates you. What about that guy over there? He seems like he gets along with everyone." Citrine pointed to Claude's face paint stand. Something about this boy intrigued her. "Who Claude? I guess we get along alright. I don't think flirting will get you anywhere though as I'm pretty sure he's...nevermind." Henry could never seem to keep Citrine in one spot anywhere. He watched the girl walk right up to the stall. "Hey there pretty thing." Citrine said to Claude. "I hear you're a friend of Henry's. Seems like you're having way more fun than Mr. Grouchybutt over there." She pointed to Henry who was slowly making his way up to the stall, but quickly was distracted by Lancelot who was covered in facepaint. "That bug looks so cute in that face paint. It makes me wonder what Henry would look like with face paint on." -------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, Henry's team was taking a little vacation with his father. They had been training for the Winter Cup when their trainer had been randomly pulled away from them. Gypsy was enjoying another mountain of berries while Paradox was chasing after a pink fluffy tail belonging to Henry's Skitty. Burrows was underground waiting for Henry's order to submerge until he lost his patience. When his head popped out from down below, he couldn't seem to find Henry anywhere. The only knew thing was this tree that he was sure wasn't there before. Burrows quickly moved over to it and began poking it causing it to move a couple inches. This startled the Drilbur and he attacked it with a Metal Claw. While the move didn't really hurt, it did enrage the tree revealing itself as a Sudowoodo. One of its arms began to grow green chasing forming a green cylinder who he planned to whack the mole with. The Drilbur quickly escaped by digging underground. The Sudowoodo tried whacking the ground a few times, but eventually gave up and went back to being a fake tree. Somewhere nearby, an Electrike was woken up from the loud noise. He looked around noticing a large fair that wasn't there when he fell asleep. Thinking it'd be fun, the Electrike followed behind a large group of Pokemon making sure no one would be suspicious of him being a wild Pokemon. Henry's dad eventually noticed it, but figured it must've been another one of his son's Pokemon. ((Electrike isn't going to be added in this chapter. He's just occasionally going to appear to mess with Henry and his team)).
  8. @Murdoc: I feel like Kage's battle theme would be a slower song with an emphasis on the base. I tried rembering a bit slower themes then I came across this again. (I'll try looking for something else though). Edit: found another (though this one gets beaten to death in the game it's from)
  9. Yes, yes I will do that (she'll probably just make Henry do it though), but it's going to have to wait until later tonight or tomorrow.
  10. Henry stood outside watching the fair slowly populate after a few hours passed by. A lone Skitty was snuggling with his leg which made him crack a smile. He had little idea how much of an impression Zuko made to students during the year causing this sudden switch to be a little rough. The amount of booing did get to him because of how much people seemed to despise his true ace. The two didn't really care because they had been split apart for so long now and it was good to be back together again. "I considered making a stall, but seeing how much spite I'm getting, I doubt anyone would even bother going. I even feel like my Pokemon are slowly turning against me. I really hope Zuko is doing okay." Henry felt really bad the day he handed the Vulpix over to his dad. He had no idea what was going to happen. Suddenly, he snapped out of his thoughts noticing a Vulpix jump right in front of him. "Zuko? What are you...ahhh!" Henry felt something slam into him causing him to fall into the ground. He tried turning around to see what it was, but something was pinning him down not allowing him to even move. "'sup, Glitchy!" Henry could recognize that blonde girl's optimistic voice just about anywhere. He was silenced for a moment because he thought he was dreaming. "Citrine, uh...what are you doing here? And why is Zuko here? More importantly how are you even here?" Henry still was in disbelief to what he was seeing. There was no way this was real. "Aww, it's been six months and all you do is start asking questions. Can't you just say I'm so happy to see you again or something and leave it at that." The blonde haired girl released her grip on the boy as the two got back on their feet now face to face with each other. "And please leave my baby out of this. He told me all the mean things you made him do and that you never paid attention to him." "You know he can't talk, right? Wait...you're the trainer my dad was talking about. But...you didn't want him...and your an orphan." Henry shook his head. It was just like her to suddenly changer her mind on important issues just like this one. "Nevermind. I guess Zuko is in good hands. Just promise me you won't burn down all of Orre while I'm gone." The girl smiled simply responding, "I can't make that promise, but we're making progress. I only set the school fire alarm off twice." She notice Henry giving him a funny look. "Ohhh...you have no idea what's going on, do you? Lots of stuff's been happening since you've been gone. Your dad has been paying for my schooling. He wanted to send me here, but it'd be a little too expensive. So I'm just at the school in Orre." "Uhh...I know my dad is a nice guy and all, but I don't think he'd be so willing to do something like that considering our income. You didn't do anything to him, did you?" asked Henry. "Oh! I forgot the most important thing. I'm your new little sister." She watched Henry freeze like a statue. "If it's too much to handle, you could always just think of it as me just living in your house from now on. Glitchy? Are you okay?" "I'm afraid you may have overwhelmed the poor boy." An older brown haired man approached the two children. He wore a brown coat and was a bit scrawny. A tree like thing (Sudowoodo) was slowly walking behind him. "I know it might be hard to believe, but your mother and I decided to adopt Luna. It is a tad bit lonely with you being so far away and seeing the girl has nothing, we couldn't help but bring her under our arms. As for the schooling, I thought we would need a tutor, but it seems she is doing fine from what she learned from you." "What?" Henry still couldn't believe what he was hearing. After all the trouble this girl put him through, she now decides to reappear, but this time as his sister. "Nevermind, I'm glad to see you two. I just wasn't expecting anyone." "After the stories you told me, I felt like I needed to come. Luna seemed really excited about this so I took her with me as a surprise. I didn't think she was serious about the pouncing though." Henry's dad pulled out some Poke and gave it to his son. "Why don't you two have a bit of fun now? Don't worry about me, I'll catch up to you two later." Before Henry could respond, Citrine started pushing him towards the fair. Henry didn't fight it though as he knew the girl would get what she wanted one way or another. That was one thing these two had in common. They were both very stubborn, however, Henry was the more submissive one between the two. He simply looked over to the blonde haired girl wondering where she was going to send them first. In his head, he figured it'd be some kind of food stand. ((tl;dr version: Henry sees his dad and Citrine. He and Citrine are looking for some stall to go to.))
  11. @K_H: Uhh...you do know that Ice Beam is really OP for a Water type especially at this point right now, right? I'd let Icy Wind slide, but not Ice Beam. I looked over the rest and I don't see any issues. (I do see some final moveset moves though. I still don't have any of mine yet though, but I'll be getting one next chapter).
  12. I updated my team as well, but I'm going to put it here since I have a new(ish) member
  13. Chim, before I update my Pokemon team, are we allowed to have some TM moves added to our Pokemon (weaker ones not like Earthquake and such) during the timeskip. I kind of want Venoshock on Gypsy and Bulldoze on Burrows, but that's about it. If not, I can still work with what I have. (Then there's the ORAS vs XY for Skitty...that's going to take a bit of time). Edit: @Tses: I'm assuming Henry isn't making a stall so I'd assume Sissy would be alright not to. Though I do have a bit planned for Henry (and he will be around the other stalls though)
  14. About the Conclave, we need at least 3 people to even stand a chance. I mean Drake probably could take a floor (maybe two) and one of the mother's Pokemon but that's about it.
  15. Crap! I still need to wrap those Christmas Presents.

    1. Sutoratosu

      Sutoratosu

      Get wrapping then.

    2. GotWala

      GotWala

Gah, wrapping gifts is a pain! Thank Christ I usually just use festive bags for a lot of my gift giving, haha.

    3. Hutch333

      Hutch333

Just put a bow on it and call it good. Or get some of those gift bags.

  16. Emelia looked over to Richard and back at the ground for a few minutes. He wasn't going to change his mind on anything so there was no point in talking. While she never really thought about it, she was a gifted and he'd spite her too if he ever found out. It was almost as if the force was not the place she was meant to be. After another minute, she pulled out a coin in her pocket and flipped it. When it landed in her hand, it came up heads. Head again? I need to stop using my power to cheat these coin flips. Still, this guy thinks I'm a great officer yet I haven't been recruited yet. "You know, you're wrong about something else. I'm not a good officer either. That gifted that saved you probably could care less about any of us. Seeing you march to your own grave worried me...enough to vouch for his innocence. If I could have, I would have pulled you out of there myself. Thinking back now, it was a stupid mistake. They probably won't let someone that stupid join the force so this is probably the last time we'll be working together." Admiting the truth hurt, but she'd rather be in pain than this "dumbass" officer.
  17. "...So there are others as well," responded Drake. He had remained silent up until now. "This world is not kind to people like us wishing to change it. It's a relief that a few other cities haven't fallen victim to this corrupted world. I'll be heading over to the conclave with whoever else wishes to go. I may have overheard certain rumors about what happened in Eterna, but I'm going to make sure it doesn't happen again. I just have one quick question. What happens to the mother and gym leaders who are defeated by us? Seeing how Dawn rules with an iron fist, I have a hard time believing they walk freely from this." In truth, Drake wasn't sure whether or not to trust Candice, but he decided to follow the group. He had been backstabbed again and again by people who claimed to hate Dawn and be against her rule. Even he started to feel conflicted which side to side on shortly before joining Team Dusk.
  18. All I really saw from the battle was the Frogadier dodging again and again so I don't actually think it was really a bad thing that you did that. (Dodging attacks is probably the fastest way to piss off the other person, especially if it's constant).
  19. I know you can mine all stones but Shiny, Dawn, and Dusk Stones, but I do believe there are sunstones hidden in invisible spots (I can't even remember where it is anymore). I'm not sure if Ame blocked that floor too, but all stones are buyable at the department store on the 8th floor I believe, but it's only accessible once you completed the current episode.
  20. This isn't the place for that. Refer to the On the Hunt Section next time. You will get those items again soon though (whichever future episode returns us to Reborn City soon).
  21. Henry saw the boy and was surprised someone was even talking to him. "That battle. I lost, but I've stopped caring about winning for a while now. Both my Pokemon did well, especially Burrows. Trying to teach a new trick in two days is easier said then done, but Gypsy must've done something behind my back because he performed them perfectly. As for pushing your Pokemon too hard..." He looked away trying not to look at the other boy. "It's just a sign you care about your Pokemon. I probably could've won my battle pushing Zuko way beyond his limits. A few months ago, I learned that pushing your Pokemon too hard will bite you in ass later." Henry's attention focused on his group of four Pokemon who were playing with each other, including Zuko. "I wouldn't worry about it too much. Once you get past the fear of losing, it'll almost never happen."
  22. Just hearing what this man was saying only made Emelia want to punch in the face even more. She restrained herself though. "You are a monster, but not because of your power. You label all of these 'gifted' as bad just because of what they can do. If they were so bad, why would one save your life back there at the bar. What I can't understand is what makes you hate them so much. I never grew up around gifted, but the ones I've met aren't as evil as you make them out to be. It makes me wonder how such an egotistical fool made it into the force anyway." Emelia realized she said that last part out loud. She kept her sword out just in case things got a little messy.
  23. T_T I'm going to miss being separated from the group. That whole Fria moment was priceless (I could only imagine what Drake is thinking right now).
  24. I don't think he realizes I'm a gifted too. Then again, not many people do. If anyone found out about it, I couldn't do the only thing I'm good at. Dueling. She looked at him silent for a moment. "Just because you can do something others can't doesn't make you evil. That's no different than saying a blacksmith is a demon for creating these weapons of violence and death." Emelia pulled out her regular sword and looked at her reflection withing the steelwood. "Ever since I was a kid, you could always see me swinging a stick around pretending to be a knight. Here I am now, swinging a sword fighting people for money and even letting some starve for the day. Does that make me a monster as well?"
