I'm fine with that, but wait until Chim updates tomorrow. Don't worry about little stuff like running into Henry around me. I'm a very laxed person when it comes to those areas so most of the time it's alright with me.

You could just ask to borrow Henry's key to the room. I mean you'd have to handle the typical Henry remarks, but he'd probably let you borrow it as a bribe.

Once Candice answers Drake's question, he'll be on his way back towards the Conclave, but I'd rather not win a 1 vs 4 match with her (I could totally do it, and it wouldn't be as far-fetched given Drake's age and experience) because a couple others haven't even battled yet and how unfair it would be. Start the battle now, but save the Mienshao for me.

I may as well throw my thought of Megas into the mix as well. While there are some exceptions, I do think that Megas overall enhance the metagame. You don't need a mega to take down a Mega, in fact, sometimes I don't Mega evolve my Pokemon right away such as Venusaur. There are some Pokemon that really don't need a mega such as Garchomp and especially Mewtwo. I use both of those examples competitively and Mewtwo actually performs better without his Mega imo. As for being overpowered, I've fought plenty of Megas with my Nation teams for practice. The only situations I found them to be troublesome was due to the imbalance of my team (I had 3 types to choose from). From experience in 3 different tiers (UU, OU, and Uber), Megas are not unbelievably OP or broken inside of their retrospective tiers. I'm not so sure about the new ORAS mons as I haven't battled too much lately (I've fought Metagross, Gallade, and Sableye) but the ones I did battle I will still stand by my statement.

Originally, the floor was unblocked on the original release (but the floor above was blocked). In the newest update, they decided to block the other one due to story reasons. I wouldn't worry too much about it as I'm pretty sure we're heading back into reborn city next episode anyways. If you're using and older version(s) you can actually manipulate this to access both floors, but I caution going from 14 back to thirteen because of the ability change.

I'm looking at Henry's team and I could pretty much make his team so broken in the next chapter. The amount of damage I could do would make a Shuckle look like a glass canon. Thankfully, the tactic has a few checks (like that it can be only used once).

I love how I'm the only person who picked Mega Venusaur for Kanto. The funny part is that she is my check and counter against Mega Charizard X which seems to be the most popular. Also, for Kalos there should be Mega Hoopa. That thing is way better choice compared to the other two.

When people said May's Combusken was hard in ORAS, they weren't kidding. I was fortunate to only have lost a Tentacool and a Dustox to that thing. I guess that's what happens when all your Pokemon are weak to fire and fighting.

Any good recommends for games under 20$?
Commander replied to Omega_Ra1der's topic in Gaming General
The only rpg I can think of is Legend of Heroes: Trials of the Sky, but I don't use steam. Speaking of that game, I need to play it before I could even recommend it. Now if we talk consoles, that's a whole different story. I can think of about 40 with one or two just barely outside your budget. -
The first question is an easy one. Episodic without a doubt. Receiving constant feedback really does help motivate someone to keep working on a project. Doing a full on project with little to no feedback can be brutal which actually is a big reason some projects never get finished in the first place. I tend to use the word project because there are so many examples I could give about this outside of fan games alone. The second one is a very tough question to answer without knowing too much about the game. All three of them have pros and cons that I don't think one could rule out the others. Personally, I tend to emphasize story above all else. I actually enjoy games that offer choices that affect the plot, but most of the ones that do it are more psuedo choices. Basically, the choices you make might do something right now, but they won't really tamper with the overall plot. That's basically how Fire Emblem places choice based question. (That Pelleas scene in Radiant Dawn though). Dobby also hit it right on the spot. It's the little things that really impact the story. Giving players those choices helps keep them engaged in the story. I'm sure the combat will be more than enough to break up the story so I'd say I want as few as the choices as possible.

Is there any way to sabotage Magma/Aqua gang via inside? if not, help?
Commander replied to Stormie's topic in Reborn City
In the short run, I'd say Aqua is the better option. In previous episodes, Magma was better because of that Chinchou. In the long run, there is no difference as you're able to obtain all the prizes after the 7th street events. You can fight the other gang boss pretty shortly (after going to Beryl Cemetery short), but it is hard and I'd recommend waiting a little bit. -
Honestly, I find Lucifer's opinion on what each soul tastes like quite entertaining. I'm usually against stuff like that, but seeing as Lucifer isn't telling Raiza about any of it, I'm not bothered by it at all. Speaking of that, I'm tempted to make Henry more standoffish whenever Lucifer eats part of his soul instead of being fatigued. Actually, this reminds me of something I'm not sure any of you noticed. Way back in chapter one, I used Zuko's tail to fling Gypsy because I assumed Gypsy weighed about 12 pounds at the most. I actually looked on the Wiki page and she's supposed to weigh over 60 ibs. I kind of ignored it for the time being, but I had to think of a way to adjust the weight. For some random reason, the idea hit me that she should be obsessed with berries and eat massive amounts causing her to gain more and more weight until chapter 3 where she now weighs her proper weight.

Drake decided to interrupt Nemir. "The injured are being taken care of as we speak. The ones outside are in perfect condition as far as I know."

IRL that's actually the outer half of reading an aura. That half is kind of like the mood ring. I'm kind of against that part a bit because it's on the border of mind reading. It's easily abusable and can spoil/ruin things.

"Very well," Drake responded. "Let's just say we have 40 acolytes waiting outside with promised protection from the mother. My comrades dropped this deadweight issue onto me, but I have little idea what to do with them." A sudden thought finally hit Drake. "Can I just leave them here in the gym with you? I have to get back to conclave before my comrades end up killing everyone."

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
Commander replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"I've battled the kid a couple of times," Henry responded to Evan. "It's people like him that made me turn away from the trainer path. I wouldn't really worry about him too much. He pretty always goes on the offensive. From what I've seen, he's pretty much willing to do anything to win, even push his Pokemon way beyond their limits. While I'm not a big fan of his tactics, he's a bit of a hothead and fun to annoy. Mareek on the other hand, I feel sorry for his opponent." While Henry didn't really use the so called site people glorified, he'd often watch matches of other trainers when he wasn't busy. Truthfully, Henry was very relieved by the bracket change. Of all the candidates on the bracket, that boy was the only one he truly feared. His thoughts were quickly interrupted by the sight of another coordinator. "And here comes trouble," Henry mumbled.- 1255 replies

Can we worry about the megas bridge when we get their. I mean if you're really concerned we could make stuff like the mega tie.

Okay, I think I understand how it works. Since Lucario has to close his eyes to see auras, that's all he can see. Basing it on the Pokemon logic, it's kind of like a blueish flame to Lucario. This blueish flame is the inner layer which is the same for everyone, but might have a bit different intensities depending on the person's health. I'll have to agree with Chim on the rest of how the aura works. The talking Zorua pushes the line, but the anime's definition of auras is a big red flag. Also, I don't think Java doesn't have an aura since he's not a living being (I'd say he's a machine if anything), but that's up to Stratos.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure at this point Kenny has used the illusion ability so much that just about anyone could realize he's there. I think I see the ability used in just about every other post you make. @Stratos: I actually like the newer post better. Probably the first conversation the two ever had in years. @Murdoc: Shiro is planning on having a Gardevoir, but I believe his mega is Loppunny.

{Pokemon Gym} Eventually, Drake made it over to Candice's gym. He'd been grumbling about the large number of little girls who'd been following behind him. Go figure they'd force me to babysit. Wait...I should probably ask Candice what to do with the whole lot of them. "Wait here while I go inside. I'll be back out in just a second." Drake made his way inside and noticed the battle still going on. Normally, he'd wait until the battle was over, but there were 40 terrors on the loose outside. If even one of them lost their patience, there'd be hell to pay. "Candice, sorry to interrupt your battle, but do you have a minute?"

Pokémon Academy: Ch 3: Winter Cup [IC]
Commander replied to Chim's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
"Honestly, you're more of a pastime whenever I'm bored," Henry responded to Kenny. "I'm not talking to you though, am I?" Kenny was putting up more of a fight than he thought he would. Suddenly the sound of the broadcast roared loudly and caused him to turn around for a minute before looking back at Mareek. He was about to say something when Gypsy bit him in the leg. Her eyes were glowing once again. "...Dammit. I'll let it go this time." Still Mareek had to be the one to find out as well of all people. Henry then turned his attention towards Evan, "Sorry for ruining your nice conversation. I just...felt the whole situation was eerie. Good luck with your battle." Henry then began to head on his way back to Tyron's waiting room. He wasn't sure how much Evan knew about what was going on. The less he knew, the better.- 1255 replies

Normally I don't jump into things like that, but this is one of those grab popcorn moments. Let's just say Mareek and Henry aren't exactly on the same side.
