  1. you can get them after the 2nd badge, there's a vendor on route 3 during daytime who sells both items a moonstone is available in a cave on the same route! it's hidden in the middle of a very small clearing which you pass through (it has grass, so it's easy to recognize) oh yes, there's actually another moon stone. In amethyst cave you can find a Lunatone. Save and then soft reset until it holds a moon stone and if you do the help center quest with the Kecleon in the next village, there's a 1/3 chance to get the Shiny stone, or an Ice stone for evolving Alolan Vulpix (the third option would be Dusk stone)
  2. also download the newest patch from the rejuv download site to fix this bug
  3. oof forgot the evo level, but psych up is in the hidden library, you get it before marianette. That's how i beat her last time. I also don't think they wouldn't attack, but the AI sometimes does that too
  4. how about Banette with Psych Up to copy Marianette's Cosmic Power boosts? if the AI decides not to attack immediately it might be worth a shot
  5. try redownloading the game, this helps most of the time
  6. in general yeah. While there are exceptions where you can invest in defense instead of HP, the difference isn't too big, so for a beginner this is good enough. If you're not sure which stat to invest into, I advise you to invest in the highest stats, that's usually never wrong.
  7. I always go for two max stats, dividing it up on three doesn't make much difference imo
  8. The department store sells berries which can reduce the EVs of a certain stat, and Power Items which increase a certain stat's EV gain by 4 for every EV gained. (The guide Gastronely linked is mostly for late game it seems, if you're still in the early part of the game I'd recommend this): Most people go to the railnet and battle the woobats repeatedly, since it's really fast and they give Speed EVs which is usually the most trained stat. If you need HP you can go to Seacrest's garden, there's a high chance for Wurmple, caterpie and hoothoot, so it's a good place regardless of day/night. I usually train Att/Sp.Att together with Speed or HP, since those are the most common stats you need for an attacker beside their respective attack stat. Same goes for Def/SpDef if possible, since EVs for those stats are more uncommon. If not, you can train both at Seacrests garden as well, Ledybas for Sp.Def (only in the mornings), or with Venonats on the rooftop in Onyx ward, and Def with Pineco (headbutt tree).
  9. There's lots of people I'd like to show my appreciation to, but since I'm really bad with names I'm bound to forget someone, so I'll keep it simple so I don't hurt anyone's feelings for forgetting them First, my biggest thanks go to @Amethyst and the whole Reborn team. Not only did you guys create a fantastic game, you also created this great community leading to lots of new friendships and good memories for everyone here. Lots of thanks to everyone here striving to keep this community a fun, wholesome and friendly place, and everyone who keeps helping out anyone in need. Shoutout to @Starry Knight who gives her best to help everyone, and goes out of her way to breed mons for every request. Thanks to the countless people providing us with entertainment, be it by developing fan games, self written stories or interesting discussion topics, and to every modder supplying us with mods to have even more fun while playing. Lastly, big thanks to @MegaMew and @Raion and everyone on their games' Discord for being such fun people, I really enjoy talking with all of you guys.
  10. looks very interesting, I wish you good luck! Maybe the Grand hall trainers have some interesting moves, since they often get competitive sets, though I'm not sure how early/late they do. Also event mons' egg moves might be worth it.
  11. normally he doesn't reappear in his tent after he disappears. Next time you meet him will be on Route 9, after 9 badges, but he doesn't change the difficulty there. Debug should be able to help you, though I'm not an expert on it so I can't say how
  12. oh yeah you're right, since Devilish assumed it's the Lucky egg I also did. But I believe that you can get the Lucky egg from 70 Zygarde cells before you can even get to the Route where Pelipper are?
  13. 1. The woman in the entrance to the safari zone gives the Lucky egg for showing her Chansey, the Chansey doesn't need to hold it 2. Compound eyes usually works as long as the pokemon is in the party's front, even when it's fainted, so it doesn't need to be sent into battle. Are you sure it doesn't work in the safari zone? But I also think it's not worth it @Devilish, the time you need to catch Chansey could be used just as well for training with the Audino trainers
  14. no because we see Adrest with his mother in a flashback, and she clearly didn't look like Nymiera. If you're talking about the knight from the story (her son), it is said that he died in the war while protecting her.
  15. yup still going. If you want to know more you can join the discord, MegaMew is more active there and gives occasional updates on the progress. https://discord.gg/pbtJXk2
  16. this might not be needed anymore since Candy already linked you the solution, but it really helps to talk to the trainers in the gym who give advice on how to solve it.
  17. Hi and welcome! It's a little hard to give general advice for both games, but I'll try my best. First, what you should pay attention to is that these games give your mons a level limit depending on how many badges you have. You can see the limit displayed in your trainer card. In Rejuvenation, your mons will stop getting exp, but in Reborn they still do and when leveled over the limit, they'll stop obeying you. There are items called Common candies/Reverse Candies in both games which can lower your level again so you can still use your mons, always have some with you so you can decrease your level when needed. The level limit also strongly encourages to have a full team of six, unlike the original games where people often play through with only their starter. Because here you can't have much higher levels to overpower enemies, and they have much better stats, due to good EVs and IVs, and better moves overall. Also don't be afraid of using weak or unpopular mons, some can be surprisingly useful in these games. These games introduce a very complex field mechanic which has much more effects than the fields from the original games. There are dozens of fields with dozens of unique effects. Try paying attention to those by reading the Field notes/Field manual. For more specific advice: I'd suggest getting your hands on a mon that can lay entry hazards. I prefer Sticky Web for speed control, it helps a lot against the opponents who later have perfect IV pokemon, since you'll have a hard time outspeeding them otherwise. Also often used by players are male Meowstic with Prankster. They can safely set up Reflect/Light Screen, which gives you the opportunity to boost stats with other mons.
  18. - Restoration projects: Donate in the Grand hall to some projects, that will further renovate the city and start side quests with great rewards (By the way, you can only renovate once for every badge you get from now. Also there is one restoration in Calcenon, which is always doable, in the southern entrance of the city) - dive in the underwater city in Azurine Lake - Beldum quest available now - Invisible objects in Beryl side quest - Gang applications: get your gang members jobs!
  19. The point might be that we now know where the Archtype was sealed, which the bad guys might be after. What I just remembered: the evil part of the Dark prophecy might be "reserved" for the protagonist, since a lot of people seem to mention our potential of destroying the world if we wanted, instead of saving it. So depending on our choices in the game we will possibly fill the last role left for whichever prophecy fits us more. Just thinking of the bad end of the Hidden Library 4 quest with Karen and Karrina makes this look very plausable.
  20. but the prophecy only states one of the lights to have Arceus' power, so those four wouldn't fit the prophecy
  21. Totally agree with your choices for the lights for the same reasons that you explained. But the darkness ones are still really vague since there are many possible candidates. Like Geara is someone I think might be one of them since he's behaving pretty evil. Madame X never really struck me as evil, she just has that "survival of the strongest" mindset, so my guess is that she isn't part of the prophecy. Indriad could fit several, like hatred for the world and humans which let Anathea die, jealousy because Arceus created pokemon with greater power than humans, which was the reason why he left Nymiera in the past (though that sounds more like arrogance tbh). If Zetta ever returns he might also be jealousy for not being a human, for not having a happy life etc. Flora is a good guess, didn't even think about her since Bladestar is already finished off. What about Isha? Who knows what kind of unethical experiments that guy performed on patients that we don't know of yet, though I don't see anything except prejudice maybe fit him.
  22. Well if you already know Reborn, then there isn't much to tell you. The main difference to pay attention to are the Achievement points. While it's not necessary, it can be useful to farm some Achievement points so you can buy certain Key items in the casino which replace HMs, so no need to teach them anymore. And there are some key cards to buy as well, they unlock doors in the starting lab where you can train EVs very quickly. HP and Speed rooms are unlocked by default.
  23. Winning or losing on Pyrous Mountain determines who your partner is (Julia or Florinia), not your opponent. You have to fight all of them
  24. isn't basically every Rift weird? probably everyone would look different, depending on what negative feelings they have. It also seems to depend on how much Rift matter they absorb. Take Zetta as an example: his body also contains Rift matter, but that's what helped him look human
  25. online play is not available at all, the Destiny Knot is available after getting the 5th gym badge. In Kakori village there's a woman who you can tell about the Xen ship, go and meet her there, then show her around, afterwards come back to Kakori and she'll give you the Destiny knot
