  3. Weakness-wise, yes, I think so. It would have no more the hideous 4x weakness to Ice, making it possible to tank an Ice Shard without fainting and retaliating with some of its strong moves. Would resist Ground, Fighting, Water, Electric (x1/2) and Grass (x1/4). It would be weak to Ice, Fairy, Dragon, Rock and Flying (x2). I think this would make it quite balanced. Flygon would have ways of countering Rock types with Earthquake/Superpower, Ice and Flying types with Stone Edge/Rock Slide (hello Compound Eyes), Dragon types with Dragon Rush (again, hi Compound Eyes) and Fairy types with Iron Tail (triple hello to Compound Eyes). Tinted Lens might be good as well, since Bugs don't hit many things hard with their STAB. However, Tinted Lens on a Dragon sounds like a bit of a broken step to take. They aren't resisted by anything apart from Fairies (immune) and Steel types (x1/2). Removing Steel would make it nearly impossible to tank a Dragon Rush from Flygon without a Fairy type. I'd not give Flygon Tinted Lens, but give it X-Scissor. It can learn Dragon Claw but not X-Scissor? Also, Sceptile can use X-Scissor, but Flygon can't use either its claws or its wings who are rhombi-blade shaped, to use X-Scissor? Special attacking Flygon would only be functional with Choice Specs... Why waste a Dragon Dance Pokemon with good Attack and Speed by utilising its mediocre 80 Special Attack?
  4. Being part of the Bug egg group, based design-wise on antlion (which is an insect) and being capable of learning Bug Buzz, a move exclusive to Bug-type Pokemon (with the exception of Vibrava), makes it obvious that Flygon is suited-enough to have the Bug typing. More suited at least than having the Dragon typing, since it isn't based on a dragonfly (like Yanmega, which, weirdly enough isn't a Bug/Dragon either), but on antlions. I just see that, somehow, the designers just for some weird reason deny us a Bug/Dragon Pokemon, which is sad, since every other type have at least one 'mon being a dual Dragon type too. So, Yanmega, a DRAGONfly, is a Bug/Flying. And Flygon, an ANTlion is a Dragon/Ground. Don't get me more salty about this... PS: God knows why Flygon, with that eye-pattern design, doesn't have Compound Eyes as Hidden Ability. It would benefit Dragon Rush, Rock Slide, Dragon Tail, Iron Tail, make it literally incredible. With the Bug typing instead of the Ground, it would also resist Ground type attacks, so the Levitate loss wouldn't hurt at all. It would easily be OU (Choice Scarfed maybe, or Life Orbed with Dragon Dance)...

  6. It's not meaningless... Plus, it's the wasteland... You can talk about anything here. I assume by car/motorcycle... So, saved by a car accident that would kill you... so... I would (first of all), thank God for being safe, and then (after my heart rate dropped to normal again), tell the driver that his/her child could've been in my place. Would he/she risk his child's life? If yes, he/she is beyond hope. No better way to stress the importance of someone's actions other than making them imagine the consequences dropping on their beloved person.

  12. This isn't a cool thing to do to someone who's been on pre-Easter lent... But since I'm here... Greek lovers pizza! Tomato sauce, feta cheese, olives, green peppers, sweet red peppers, tomato slices, salami, onion.
  13. I tried with only Bugs. It wasn't funny for Charlotte. 1 try, 1 minute, GG EZ. Toughest one was Shelly (and Ciel, but not as much as Shelly) in my Bug monorun, Charlotte in my Poison monorun, Mewtwo in my first run and pretty much nobody in my shiny run... Weirdly enough, I've always found it easy to tank one attack by Arceus to paralyse it in return... Never took more than 2-3 tries to defeat it...

  19. Who ever said that bringing Bugs to a Fire Gym was a bad idea?
  20. Try setting up Rain Dance with a very fast 'mon of yours (I did it with Crobat in my Poison mono) to prevent her for setting her field ablaze and weaken her fire type moves. Also, Trick Room in combination with some very slow-high Attack Rock type 'mons could work. A Carbink with Trick Room and Sturdy might do the Trick Room trick more reliably, since both Charlotte's starters should focus it to take it down first turn before setting up the Trick Room. And the only Super Effective thing Charlotte has vs Carbink is Typhlosion's Solar Beam, which won't do anything first turn. Also, since her starting duo of Darmanitan and Typhlosion heavily relies on Typhlosion's Eruption, you can try to use it to your advantage and try to set up by blocking it either with Vivillon's Powder, or with Wide Guard, while your other 'mon sets up something like Shell Smash (done it with great success in my Bug mono-defeated her only with Powder Vivillon, Wide Guard Paras and Shell Smash/Rock Slide Crustle). Hope I helped, even slightly... Good luck!
  21. I won't get into arguing about whether one of the few things that make Bug types actually viable is OP or not... Different opinions, Let's stay on topic.
  22. Lol. Not more than Stealth Rocks.
  23. Yes, exactly. That's why I think that, if you like thinking and not relying on brute force to defeat opponents, Bug is the best type. Now, about hax... I guess you mean Silver Wind and/or Air Slash lucky flinches... But they are quite rarely used, even by Bugs...
  24. Bug. Struggle? Check (for sure). Think? Check. Bug types are all about strategy, especially without stuff like Scizor and Volcarona. Fun? Well, definitely check. I hated the type and got into a Bug monotype of Reborn as a challenge from a friend. Now I'm in love with the type. Plus... Underdog winning sometimes is fun
  25. In addition to the other one, there's no such thing as too happy either!
