  4. They will make their homework anyways. Going for a nuzlocke unprepared in this kind of games is suicidal.
  5. By the way, where has Nappy announced that they are doing it? I can't find it anywhere...
  6. I'm really wondering how they will approach the "nuzlocke" rules. It is obvious that those rules must be bent a bit in Reborn, since you are locked for far too long in a huge city and the catchable (i.e. first per area) random encounters will be limited. I think they shouldn't randomise reborn. If I see some weird shit like a Mewtwo/Zygarde surging through Julia, I will be seriously very upset. The whole thing is doing it the hard way. Also, they probably should allow themselves to capture every event pokemon available, on top of the casual "first wild encounter per area" (with "areas" being places which offer a different encounter location in Pokemon's ID card). And, of course, do all the tedious stuff with mining for items, trying to get a Pickup mon for the assist, etc... If they try to speedrun it, or believe even for a mere second that it's gonna be similar to Insurgence, they'll fail horribly... That said... HYPEHYPEHYPEHYPE
  7. Deerling. And changing form with actual seasons.
  8. LOL, I know, I was just joking about that one
  9. How is it wondrous if its STABs are too weak and its coverage is unreliable...
  10. True. I had said it from the beginning that my opinion wouldn't change regardless of the opposing arguments. I had warned!
  11. The healthy list of flaws is the following one: fragile. How about not using it in the start of a battle, but save it to OHKO stuff after, say, entry hazards? Also, Life Orb Gengar was quite capable of oneshotting stuff that weren't weak to its moves, I have personal traumas because of this. "Faster" pokemon you say... Like? I can only think of a handful that are "faster" than Gengar (without being a Mega) and almost none is able to hit it very hard and OHKO it with supereffective stuff. Also, it can use Dazzling Gleam to finish off weakened Dark types without relying on the unreliable Focus Blast.
  12. Its pre-evolutions rightfully have it. Gengar doesn't. If that was the case, all Ghosts should have it, cause they don't possess material substance, and all Ghosts can "float", as Ghost lore shows us. And all physical moves against them should miss too. It was broken because it was extremely strong. Very fast, very strong as a special sweeper, and (when it had Levitate) with only counters being Psychic (weak against it too, so the faster one wins), Ghost (same as Psychic) and Dark (God bless them for introducing the typing). Its only actual counter (both attacking and defense-wise) when Gengar had Levitate was Dark. If that isn't OP, I honestly don't know what is.
  13. Volcarona hit by Earthquake and Gengar not makes sense? There's a ton of mons on which Ground immunity would be MUCH more suited than on Gengar. It was just there to remove yet another supereffective threat towards Gengar. Making it quite OP.

For me, it didn't. It was strong enough already. Shadow Tag Mega Gengar is just fucking broken. As was Levitate on Gengar. Good thing they removed it. That's my opinion and it won't change regardless of any arguments that support the opposite (and to avoid myself getting uppity and fighting in a H&H again)
