@Candy No, not Pikachu... Reading this literally got me in tears. It hit me just as hard as Kiki's death the first time I played Reborn, which was an for two minutes straight. I promise that Maga-Z, my Rejuvenation Pachirisu will avenge your fallen Pachirisu. She isn't shiny, but she is still an OP little rodent, and adorable as hell. -
1) Well... Ame herself has said it. All games are to be located in the Onyx Arcade subforum. 2) Even if they bury other topics, the other topics are hardly active and the people who like them will always find them and keep playing. Banning them to a club is like asking from an internet cafe to ban League of Legends because you don't like it and can't find an unoccupied PC to play because everyone plays League. Adapt. 3) They are the most interesting due to interaction and strategy being involved (if played seriously), and due to the fact that they trigger interesting conversations. S

I can slightly relate to this... If nobody enjoys it, then why do it? I know many readers remain silent, but it's nice to have a comment here and there Especially if it's such a cool idea of a custom run! It's same as my Rejuv run topic. @J-Awesome_One is very nice to provide feedback! By the way, I am liking this run too, Candy... The more so now that Bambi is active and helping! And quite unlucky to get Paralysed by 1st Discharge) But anyways, you're doing a nice job with a character personality development-oriented run. I'm focusing more on Pokemon personality

Being a perfectionist ruins my attempts to have fun in any hobbies I try.
I bash myself too hard for not being perfect at it and it isn't enjoyable anymore...
I hate me sometimes.

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself when it comes to these kinds of things. Sure you might not be the best when it comes to certain things, but if it's something your really passionate about, just think of as being able to prove the world just how much better you can get at things! You're capable of greatness if you put your mind to it!
And if you ever do get overly pissed at yourself for fucking something up, just remember to take a breather and if you have the time, cry in a pillow to relieve yourself of stress.
Please don't hate yourself for anything.

I feel we impose unreasonable expectations on whatever we try, and we aim for perfection in all our attempts. I strongly feel that striving for continuous improvement is more rewarding than striving for perfection. You shouldn't be too hard on yourself, you're pursuing a hobby to take a break from your daily academic life and the hobby must be enjoyable to recharge yourself.
