@HongaarseBeer97 Waterbottles are made of plastic, and either due to photo degeneration or through natural causes will slowly dissolve and seep into the water after a while. It's not entirely a problem nor dangerous, but even minute changes in the components of water can alter the taste. 

Case in point Danish water is incredibly rich in calcium, and tastes widely different from water in most other countries due to lacking this component. I know Sweden has incredibly iron rich water... What's the quirk of water in the Netherlands? 

Our tap water is actually pretty good, overall, good enough to drink. Though yeah, I'd rather there be a permanent dispenser then me having to carry a water bottle with me everywhere...

@Tartar To be fair I wouldn't exactly know. I do however know that water from Almere, which is where I live, is (or was, this news is quite old actually) the softest tap water in the whole of Europe. So it has very little calcium in it and it doesn't taste like iron etc. at all. 

I actually did a little research and the softness/hardness of tap water where I live is 4.30. If I compare this to Amsterdam which has 8.40, that's a world of difference. I can really taste a difference in those two kinds of tap water. How this compares to the rest of Europe/the world, I have no idea, but it seems quite alright

Mm...how would that work? Namely, what kind of a role would humans and Pokemon possess in that regard? As simply going "It's basically the main games except from a Pokemon's perspective" wouldn't work very well, to be honest.

My idea would be as a Pokemon, you need to battle trainers and possibly see how industrialization would effect them?

certain mons have battle armor etc, it never gives u the chance of rolling for a crit for extra dmg and winning, and i dont think that 135 is an accurate number

i cant tell you how to do the calcs but if it was 135 effectively it'd be used in competitive play

It beats Ice Shard at the very least, though. Plus I haven't seen that many crit-immune mons in Reborn. A few with Lucky Chant, but that's about it (For reference, I'm at Charlotte's Gym)

Honestly, for Charlotte I'm not that worried. It's Samson who might be more of a problem.

Gave Jynx Focus Sash, hoped it would let me setup. Didn't help. While Hariyama was OHKO'd, Mienshao U-turn finished her off. He switched to Lucario, I used Mamoswine and EQ'd both it and Blaziken with OHKO's.

Then came the tensest part: Mienshao could have swept my team with Brick Break. I sent out Aurorus with Snow Warning (who promptly got OHIO's) to hopefully let Beartic and Glaceon use Snow Cloak. Mienshao used Poison Jab on Beartic who OHKO'd Mienshao w...

...with Icicle Crash. Then I sent out Glaceon for Hawlucha who U-turned into Conkeldurr...who fell in 2 Blizzards before it got to do anything. One last Blizzard on Hawlucha and it was all over.

Oh, and Lucario's Sash didn't help, it used ExtremeSpeed, then Samson tried to heal it, didn't help at all.

I think I know what it is, a scar on the soul. as lon'qu said in FE Awakening: Every hit is a lesson, every scar a reminder. the scars on your soul will fade away over time, but never recover completely. the thing that helps most for me is just putting on my head phones and listening to music. just taking my time to not care what others think and just locking everything outside of the wall of your own mind. putting up walls is not always the best idea, but if you know how to break them down it's the best idea

the challenge is to find out what exactly does keep your self-esteem down. and thats difficult as fuck and requires some kind of luck. though im pretty sure that it also helps to hear a kind word from time to time.

I wasn't putting words into anyone's mouths with this. This was just an observation I made. But if it'll be for the best for everyone if I went quiet, then sure, I can do that. Just say the word. Besides, I was not even remarking about Pokemon in general. I can name more franchises where this can apply: Smash Bros, League of Legends and other highly competitive franchises.

I'm bamboozled as to what Azery said. I think it's an interesting observation on Anstane's part. I think Lin did choose hydreigon as her ace with a thought to aesthetics, but if it's a hydreigon that can survive a fairy type attack from an A-ninetales, then it must be hax hydreigon. She only cares for power, which does mirror elitism in games, but for some reason I'm reminded me of people who hack mons with illegal EV spreads or movesets only to win definitely lol

Okay, so after testing it out and talking it over with said friend, decided that the best way to record the battles would be to use the MKXP client, but without Fast Forward. Fast Forward makes things go by way too fast for a recording.

If you are planning to EV train, you are probably going to use them.

Perhaps, but only if I really find myself in need of EV training to get past the later challenges. I honestly hope it won't be necessary, though.
